    Steven, i'm in the process of tracking volume resistances for my breakout setup and it's all thanks to this video. How volume resistance affect the % moves of the stock and also how to simply identify a A+ setup and lower grade setup. It helps answer so many questions i had on why certain breakouts work and certain breakouts that don't so well. Thanks again man! Going to keep watching all your UA-cam videos from now on.

    - In his statistics, when it performs one multiday b/o, it doesn’t usually perform another one that well.
    - The more times it tries to break multiday highs, the higher chance for it to fail because traps more bagholders. So you don’t want many fail spikes in the middle of the chart before the next breakout because it won’t be as clean of a breakout. Breakout level volume needs to be way higher than original candle. Volume doesn’t overwhelm previous candle, he will size in smaller.
    - Don’t touch a ticker with too many conflict factors. Eg testing b/o but has overhead resistance.
    - A lot of volume traded in next few months. If you can’t see how it’s going to perform on the first green day without any type of resistance, always wait until the stock finishes its day and record the volume. If the volume exceeds 70-100m, those would be an easy short. If it tends to break previous day high, you have a 100m support to risk off by buying multiday b/os. These types of patterns are most profitable & predictable.

    Say for UAVS, if youre looking for the multi day breakout, when do you actually trade it? is it on the day of gap up and it shows up on the scanner? and you trade it after market open ? Or did you just have it in your watchlist when it had the first green spike ?

How can you know how much volume a stock will trade prior to it happening? I made a mistake and traded $POAI this week. Big mistake although it rotated its float when I did on wednesday? cash accounts take 3 days to setting. margin accounts (even if u do not trade on margin) settle same day (I think). I was gonna switch all my margin accounts to cash thinking I could day trade more but it would actually mean I would day trade less. the only way in which this WOULD NOT be the case is if you TRADE OPTIONS (which transactions settle in 1 day in a cash account). plus, if i want to trade in an IRA, u cannot short. most my money is in IRA's. so I will be buying PUT options instead of selling short (if the stock has options) otherwise I will use a regular brokerage account to SELL SHORT.

    4:51 doesn't exactly make sense. He's saying that you need overwhelming volume to surpass the previous breakout's level and that's why VXRT didn't breakout higher than the last breakout.. but the next day it ended up mooning way past the previous breakout which held ~80M volume, even though it itself only had ~60M.
    Also, the ~80M breakout had a continuation almost doubling its gains from the day before even though it had less volume on that second day. Sucks Dux doesn't answer questions too much because I'd really like someone to clarify this.

    • @tobycoolboy2908
      @tobycoolboy2908 3 роки тому

      Dux here is saying that typically it’s a good sign if a breakout has a higher volume than previous breakouts. But if the volume doesn’t fit that criteria it’s still fine, but that’s why his orders are gonna be smaller in those cases.

      No you need to have a minimum of atleast $500 to short and also the fees and commissions would eat away your profit.
      I would recommend at least 1500.Just learn everything you can while you save up the money
