How did you figure out the maximum amount of money that can be spent, before the price starts falling off?
would u say its the opposite for large caps? u want lots of volume.
Does anyone know if a crowded trade only matters for shorting? Or does it matter for longs also?
Thanks for the info!! Just a quick Q: why did you assume the Estimated volume for the day will be 10x pre market volume? Is that a number to youse with other stocks?
I hope it helps..Try checking the past movement of pre market with somewhat similar setup it might give you a rough idea of the ranges of how the volume will likely play out in a day then also check each timeframe hour by hour on where it accumulates and distributes
Been tracking bag holder shorts on spreadsheets for a while this information was very helpful about the $3 stocks more likely to bounce back I will go through my statistics and see if there's a correlation! Thank you
Goodluck
Did you find a correlation?
@@hariknair3765 no mate, my data shows me that stocks with under 5M public float are more likely to bounce and stocks that do x10+ volume of there public float though
Thats great video; answered a big question i had thanks
Thanks for thr video! Also your english is really improving really fast!
Your explanation is so crystal clear
This information was so useful and helpful. Thank a lot Dux1
How did you come up with the estimated volume for the day? Missing piece of the puzzle
This guy is a data tracking machine. It's an estimate not set in stone.
premkt volume x 10
In a podcast, he said pre market x4 (for small caps) to get estimated volume. He might be talking about the max amount of that can possibly be traded in a day since small cap has fixed total liquidty
One really helpful thing i learned from dux is you dont have to trade every day you just need a fee good runs a month and your good. I stuck to that and it really helped me out biggggggg time
Great , you trade yourself? On which platform
Great educational video and thanks for sharing this with me
@Steven Dux -I still don't get what you mean by if the stock is trading my 5X or 10X.... I get the rest of it but that part you lost me on and how you devided the stick shares by supply and demand.
Could you please make another video explaining this video further?
Sooo iguess you divide the volume of the day or the avg volume by the float? Correct me if im wrong
the formula is to identify how crowded the stock is going to be, if the estimated volume(potential demand)/float(supply)=1= not crowded at all. If the number is 15x more, it's gonna be very crowded, it could move +20% more in one min meaning too risky. I hope I got what he meant!
@@nealhui8369 where did you come up with the estimated volume? I think this is where people are getting lost brother
Hey Dux, Thanks for this info, it's always good to know even when. I don't trade small caps but one day I will just for fun I guess lol

I use Yahoo Finance and Finviz.com. they are free.
Steven Dux i have notice you have never ever answer any of my texted and that's not nice...not because am not a member of your course it is just a simple question am asking.....So can you answer this question please.? What do you mean when you say that the amount of money that can be traded in the penny stock industry is " $300M " can you say how do you arrived at that calculation ?
Hey, at 2:52 what do you mean by fading percentage?
I think most likely Dux is referring to when the Stock price is dropping/selling-off.

Can you explain how you come up with 1B estimated volume for Hertz?
From 100M premarket volume, he estimates that during the day it will have 10x that volume.
Couldn't that be a little high. 8x would be my projection.
No it was on that software when he showed the float.
Pause the video and then see it.🙏
How does he estimate the potencial estimated volume based on the pre-market volume? What is the relationship, mathematically speaking?
pm vol x 10 or first hour vol x 4 results will vary depending on if the stock is gaining or losing liquidity.
@@jamonchan2743 still don't get it sorry
@@carlosoviedo5685 Don't look too much into it. This isn't an arbitrary number nor is it set in stone. It's based off the data he has tracked vigorously and given how much data this guy tracks and studies - I would just go with it lol.
@@KENPACHIFTWW it make sense
I may have to take his class.
Welcome aboard.
- Stock rotates: 5x, 10x very crowded, 15x not tradeable
- Stocks under $3 are easy to hold it’s dips because retail traders can buy a lot. So under $3 stocks can produce a squeeze in the afternoon after the initial drop. Drop in the morning came from bagholders who were in the stock months again with $3-5 resistance. Then the volume picked up so people can buy more shares, making the stock squeeze back up
- If you are shorting under $3 and big volume, always cover partial or all position in the drop and don’t hold too long. More volume traded, more unpredictable for under $3 stock. If it is over $3, it takes longer to fade and safer to fade if it’s trading lots of volume. 50-75%

At 2:42 you say the pre-market volume is around 100m. You then continue to say that the estimated volume for the primary session is around 1B. How do you come to this conclusion?
The volume shows up on the stock in your brokerage account, along with the percentage, of the volume
@@maybelater7312 Yes, i know that. But that isnt actually visible yet during pre market. Steven Dux here is saying that during pre-market hours, if the volume is 100m, you can estimate that the volume will be 1b during actual market hours. How does he know that before the market has actually opened? Does he simply multiply it by 10? If so, why? That is still unclear to me.

Do you use 1 minute timeframe when day trading a stock?
It depends on the style of trader you are. I.e. Scalpers use 1min, other intraday traders use 2/3Min, some Swing traders use 15min/30Min etc.
if you consider a crowded stock foat rotation of 5 or more then how is it possible to trade stocks below 6 mil float because they are all trading more than 30 mil a day?
thats why shorting low float stock is suicide
I guess he was referring to trade to the short side. And by impossible he was probably trying to say that the likelihood of a short trap is way too high, making it very difficult (impossible) for short sellers
why did his eyes turn red at 6:45

Hey Dux thank you for this video, I would like to know how is the total dolar that can be trade? Is it 100 M?? Thank you in advance.
I don’t believe on published readings. I think that the key factor could be programming and data skills so that outcomes of test will show you when to entry and get profit. Otherwise it’s too complicated
Crazy how Gtec rotated over 150x it's float lol
lol
@@EriPages funny it did that today... rotated so much
I dint understand the last part (to save yourself from the massive squeeze) the higher the float rotation the more chances the stock will go up, correct? also when float rotation is small then spread is bigger, correct? Thanks for your videos Steven!
What would be the ideal range of float rotation? Obviously 1X is too low. Is 2x enough to consider trading, since we're looking for high volume low float?
@@bortz0230 Thanks! 👍
What happens when a stock is "crowded"? Does it mean that short traders will have a hard time finding shares to short? Does it mean anything for long traders?
Yes, usually if the stock is crowded there is more chance to short squeeze happening. So it’s better go long.
But if the float rotate more then 10X this stock can goes down on afternoon...

Yes, so always times 10.
@@bortz0230 so you can use it to strengthen your strategy. Like if you know it's being traded way over 10x or more, then the stock would be likely to squeeze strongly. And short trader will try to avoid this. Me for example haha
