There is a huge difference in the two pictures. Freckles are lighter, forehead wrinkles are less deep, your skin is more glowy, lips are puffier, around the eyes is softened. I'm amazed at the results in 5 weeks. Results seem better than retinol.
I didn't see any changes in the fine lines - hence why I said I didn't notice a change. But yeah I didn't think to look at other changes around skin tone or coloring.
The difference in wrinkles is definitely due to the expression. There literally are lines on the forehead that are "worse" in the after. And they obviously aren't actually worse, it's just a different expression.
I am really surprised you said you don’t see any differences in your skin because I definitely see a difference. Your skin looks brighter and the freckles look a bit diminished in the after pictures 🤷🏻♀️
Hey thanks for your comment. Yeah I didn't think to focus on skin tone and coloring - my focus was on the fine wrinkles. But like a few people have said, 5 weeks is probably not long enough for noticeable changes on that front. I may try a longer experiment, or I may find someone else to use it for an extended period. Stay tuned :)
You definitely have improved greatly in such a short amount of time. I see a huge difference in lines and overall skin appearance. It might be that women are more used to notice very subtle changes due to skincare use and hyperanalysing themselves. Even retinol did not cause such a sudden improvement for me in 5 weeks. I would definitely keep using it if I were you
Do you not see that some of the lines even look "worse" in the after? It's just the expression making a difference. There is a subtle difference in pigment, like on the nose, but that's it. I've been using it too and have the same (non) results.
i see a difference! less freckles. you must use this more than you did. i have seen a huge difference on my almost 70 year old skin. been using light therapy for years. its the best! and yes it is systemic.

@@LightTherapyInsidersyour glabella area is much smoother and brighter. I am impressed with your results! If you need someone to wear it for an extended period, I am happy to do an experiment for you! 🙋🏼♀️
The before and after shots of some women using the neck masks after just 6 mon of use is what peaked my interests. The results plateaued after 6 mon and only small improvements after that. So glad I found your channel and decided on a panel instead of the mask because I’d have to buy the décolleté mask too and then it would have been the same price as my biomax 450 and not as versatile. Appreciate all your efforts to educate us!
Yeah for what you get with a mask, they are SUPER expensive. I think the beauty space just has fat profit margins that they need to maintain (and also they need to make a heap of money to pay for all the glamour models that endorse the products :P) In all seriousness I do know that some products in the beauty space have crazy margins. But when you compare devices - a panel does provide much better value.
@@LightTherapyInsiders absolutely agree that a panel is a much better value. I do see some notable improvements in depth of lines on your face, so I do think it is interesting that you are seeing (even if minor) results with half of the mask covered and only using the mask 4 days a week. Especially considering you have been using red light therapy for some time. I love your channel btw! I bought the Hooga handheld red light and am so impressed with it (had it for the span of a week) that I am buying a panel now.
I have an Omni Lux mask and neck part and I'm disappointed in the mask because the lighting shorts out. I just bought a strong panel I sit in front of with my protective googles and I am seeing an improvement. I spent half as much money for the light panel with much stronger wattage and regret wasting my money on the Omni Lux. Get a panel and goggles it's better and cheaper.
I kind of feel like the fact that you are in front of red light therapy quite a bit - you might not be able to see the benefits as clearly. I wonder if you could give it to someone who doesn't use red light therapy and have them use it for a few weeks with one side covered... then we could get a better review. Just a thought.
Yes. Very good idea. I will ask my wife. She hasn't been using RLT much in the last year or two - just using the handheld devices to spot treat acute problems (sore ankle, wound healing etc). The problem is - she may not want her face on YT! If she's not keen I'll ask someone else :)
Thank you for the info, as usual 😀. I have the Omnilux masks (face and the neck/décolletage) - when I initially purchased, I did see a difference with my aging rosacea skin; however, since watching some of your videos, I purchased the Mito Pro 300 panel and what a difference between the two. Though you have to remain stationary with the panel, the effects from a tone perspective are so much better and my skin just seems healthier. You are right, with the facial mask, the straps are less than desirable (especially with long hair) and if you don’t have a pocket…where to put the battery holder? Plus the panel is large enough that the lights hit your neck and décolletage area. All the way around, I am simply more pleased with the panel. Keep up the good work!
Wow thank you for sharing this comment!!! It's exactly where my line of thinking was going - panels have more power, are better value and thus are going to be a better option. Thank you for your support and sharing this feedback.
Thank you for sharing your experience in trying out this mask. I was very interested in this mask but opted for the MitoPro300 because it’s more versatile than a mask. Keep up the excellent work! I’m really looking forward to your helmet reviews. 😊
Isn't it likely that you already maxed out the skin benefits you can get with red light therapy with all the much more powerful LED panels you've clearly used for years? That seems like a very likely explanation that I didn't see anyone else bring up yet! And yes, I agree with some of the other commenters that there is some improvement. Thank you for your incredible dedication to doing this work and sharing your insights!
This is an astute point. Much like when Dr. Dray reviews skincare and concludes she didn't see any results. Her skin is literally nearly flawless already. What did she hope to see? You have to have issues to see results! And if you've already brought your skin to the limit of what you can achieve at home, then you're just in maintenance mode: WYSIWYG.
Try comparing photos of yourself from 3 years ago and see if you've aged or whether there's hardly any difference in your aging -- that's how you'll know if it's working. Oftentimes we don't notice slight changes until we stop doing or stop using something.
It's possible that as you continue to age biologically (especially if you are in your 40s or older) the mask is helping to maintain the same tone and firmness your skin had about 3 years ago. Which would mean it is preventing you from showing aging signs over the last 3 years (if you are using it consistently). If so, that is a HUGE positive result.
I have an omnilux mask (Womens) I purchased for several reasons, mainly anti aging, for collagen production etc. I do have occasional in salon treatments as they are more powerful, I have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and it does help heal my facial psoriasis if I have a flare, much quicker than it would if I didn’t use the mask. Having watched your videos, a am interested to know, do you think a panel would be a better option for me, so I can use on my body to help with pain? And does a panel still have the anti aging effect on the face? Or, which panel do you think would tick both boxes? Thanks Michelle 😊

Thank you for your videos and your research! I also thought your skin / wrinkles looked much better. A question I have is: instead of the mask or the panel, would it make sense to use the flexible "belt" you showed on your previous video - and place it on your face, neck, hands, legs... wherever you want? It avoids the bulkiness of the panels, and allows for comfortably lying down. I'll have to watch your video on the belt (I'm new to red light therapy, and new to your videos) but wondering your initial thoughts on belt vs mask? What I do like about the OmniLux mask is the "medical grade" LEDs, and that the 'quantity of time' is researched "for the face" (not too much, not too little). A researcher at Harvard working with two of the medical grade companies explained downtime from photobiomodulation is just as important as usage. It's still working on the off-times. Which begs the question, with more power, would daily use of a panel or belt be too much anyway? Ugh so much to consider! Do you have thoughts on any of this? By the way, brilliant that you covered half the mask for a better test. And furthermore, qualified that the control wasn't perfect, as red light circulates through your system. Thank you!
Hey, the only downside with the belt is that it is underpowered compared to panels. But maybe that won't matter if you are only seeking skin level benefits. I guess as well the belt wont; be that pleasant to use if it's wrapped around your face. BUT you could still do it. I wouldn't read much into the 'medical grade' claims. It's just marketing speak IMO. But the research side is valuable yes. Dosing - I wish I could provide some solid recommendations here, but it is VERY complex. Oneday I will publish something on this topic.

IRestore has an LED mask. I have their irestore pro hair device and I've had outstanding results. I just heard about the mask and I bought it immediately. Thank you for teaching me so much about wave lengths and becoming an educated consumer.
I would love a panel eventually, but the reason these kinds of masks appeal to me is that it's small, lightweight, easy to tuck away (space is an issue for me). I know they're not your favorite product but I do appreciate you still taking the time to review them. I figure if I stick with the face mask long enough it would make sense for my next purchase to be a small panel so I could do other areas as well.
Masks are great for some people. This one is expensive but watch till then end for alternatives. ua-cam.com/video/KLc9Veoogdk/v-deo.htmlsi=hobZigo1AQa6O8v5

Are you trolling us right now? You don't see much of a difference? Look at your skin damage in the forehead right above the nose, it's almost totally gone 😅. Even the wrinkles near the eyes are less deep, this is massive.
Definitely see a pretty decent difference for only 5 weeks bro. Your red light journey has expanded quite a bit and got me to purchase a 5k Platinum LED biomax 900 wall panel setup so thanks a lot!
Hi Alex! Thank you for creating these videos, they’re very informative! In one of your videos you mentioned it would be better to get a red light panel over a mask, and based on the specs, I’d agree. However, seems like you’ve been using red light therapy for a while and yet from what I’m seeing, the mask made a large impact on your skin. My assumption would be it wouldn’t since you have your other red light devices. Based on this I’m wondering, does buying the Omnilux Men’s device make more sense to see facial results even if the panels have better specs for irradiance/wavelength? I’m consider getting the Omnilux Men’s mask for face and BIOMAX900 for body but wanted your opinion first. Thank you and I’ll be sure to use your codes! :)
I definitely see changes, fine lines I see a lot of less darkness around the eyes. I immediately saw them in thr first picture. I do think tho that having a panel vs a mask is a more beneficial investment.
I own one now for about 5 weeks so I'm not sure what it's doing yet. I wrote my personal CONS below. I do see a little improvement in YOUR skin which is surprising given that you use so much red light in other wavelengths. I guess the wavelengths do matter. CONS of Omnilux to me is it could use a few more lights on the FAR SIDES of the mask so lights reach the far side of my (big?) face the mask itself reaches to my ears but NOT the lights. It should come with a pair of glasses. I especially would love lights around the LIPS! There are two lights in the chin area but not close enough to my lips. There are NO LIGHTS on the upper lip which most women would love. They should include the blue light along with the red light instead of trying to make you buy two masks (not going to happen). The nose cut out is made for a much flatterer type nose and no I don't have a big nose. Because of that I tend to hold the sides of the nose down against my face. I then hold the mask on each of the far sides of my face after wearing it. In fairness to Omnilux, I do see that type nose cut out and lights not reaching all areas of the face on other manufacturers masks not just Omnilux. I imagine this red light space will see some of these improvements. Glad to see you're finally covering other types of red light! Oh and yes I probably will buy a panel with both skin and pain features. It covers a lot more area and you won't have to buy another for the hands, neck, and chest! I think I'll wait to see what's coming out after listening to this video Thanks for your videos
Hey, wow thanks so much for an excellent comment. I really do think some of the changes viewers are seeing is because of a lighting change. But maybe I'm wrong. Good points with the LED arrays - I didn't think to cover this in my review. But yes all this points to more reason why a panel is going to be better than a mask. Thanks again!
Those who say they see an improvement aren’t taking into account that the after photo should have improvement mostly on one side of the face. But the after photo appears better all around the face: likely because of lighting/angle differences.
Yes my main experiment was around the left vs right changes - but as I started it I read the research around treatment on my arm improving the other arm as well. But still I thought it would be interesting to see if there was a change in L vs R. Maybe I should have done the experiment longer..
also, the after photos are blurrier; so when is less sharp and less crispy, the skin gets smoother; also there is a yellow-ish hue/tint on the after photos, which lures you to think that his freckles diminished or get less hyperpigmented
Just a heads up, I've been using the Omnilux face, neck, and hand masks for 2 years now, and suddenly, yesterday the face mask just stopped charging. I contacted the company and they refused to assist because my warranty was over almost a month ago. Warning to all when used consistently it's a great device but you only have 2 years then you're on your own. I was extremely gentle with my mask, in fact, I babied it and kept it in its box when not in use, but it just died 25 months later. This company does not stand behind its products' past warranty and these are expensive devices for most people.
Eeek, yeah thats not great at all. Do you have any consumer rights organisations you can reach out to? Here in New Zealand with have the Consumer Guarantees act - and that protects consumers from issues like this. The argument is 'if you knew this was going to fail 25 months after purchase, would a rationale person buy it?' If the answer is no, then there is a good case for you to get a replacement or the product fixed by the company.

your face looks more clear on the right.. more sun damage and marks on the left.. and five weeks isn't a good enough try. You should use it at least 12 weeks.. to see a more substaintial difference. I'm going on 12 weeks.. and i can tell a very good difference.
Oh really?! Do you have the same mask? I may do another experiment with someone else who has more skin issues than I and do a full 3 month test. Be sure to subscribe and stay tuned for that :)
@@LightTherapyInsiders I have the Omnilux... you are young.. but you do look better in the second photo.. you should keep using yourself. I bet it you did it for three months... you would see a bigger change. I don't have huge issues. However...i look younger though after using it for three months. and i started seeing the difference after about 10 weeks in. I've seen an older woman on UA-cam in her 70's.. she had major change after six months of use.. and at 12 weeks, her change was minimal. So.. i am guessng the older the person is the longer it takes for the skin to rejuvinate ..which makes sense.
I would love for you to try the Dermalux Flex MD LED Light Therapy Device. They say it’s the best and strongest in office, now for at home use device. But it’s literally $3,299.00 😮 I would love to see how it compares to the ones you review.
I've also heard good things about this. I may buy one to experiment with. I'll see if I can find some other people to use it though - maybe those with more skin issues than I.

Yeah you don't really need a mask if you have a panel. Unless the mask offered wavelengths not present in the panel. OR you like the idea of using a mask for face treatment (i.e. being able to move around etc)
Absolutely the ATP stimulation for new collagen synthesis is a given with this modality. I personally use one of the Celluma panels which uses all 3 LEDs simultaneously and I've definitely noticed changes, although I didn't feel like I could see them until at least a good couple of months in I admit. Using LED for "anti aging" benefits or to try to reverse them is obviously an accumulative process. Chemically exfoliating or using a good cleanser with exfoliants in prior and a bit of green tea would allow for an enhanced result too over time.
Thank you for your review! Great review! Just like your other reviews! To me it looks like the under laying tissue got firmer (as well as brightening your skin tone), when you make a face, this shows. The wrinkles look more puffy, showing more underlying firmness with that. Maybe it’s lighting, but that’s what it looks like on the pictures next to each other.
Ha! ☀️ Isn’t that the thought behind all the LED, and laser treatments? Keep using it to see results? The LYMA is a mini laser gadget, more expensive, and you have to move it around on your face the whole time. A lot more work to use. Compared to this, this looks to much easier to use. And about 1/3 of the price. Not sure how they compare though.
I definitely see some improvement on the skin tone with the hyperpigmentation and evenness I also see a plump of the skin the cheek bone looks full and a bit lifted I’m curious of your skin regimen if any ? do you wear spf at the minimum? because if not the results won’t be as dramatic as the sun degrades the skin elasticity as well as the collagen
Skin routine... haha I laughed when I red this. I never put anything on my skin. I hate creams or lotions. I can't stand them! I dont' even use sunscreen, I can't remember the last time I used it (maybe when I was a teenager?) I just try and cover up in summer instead. I do use a lot of red light therapy though.... ua-cam.com/video/7A4QChe8mcQ/v-deo.html
Hey, I've been using them for so long so I can't do a before and after unfortunatly. But I think my skin is pretty good. I have a few fine lines but I am 36 and a father of two kids.
What is your favorite mask? I use a lot of red light, including six panels a few times a week, a megalin red light Nir therapy bag after I work out, and nothing works better for sore muscles and my herniated disc pain disappeared after about 6 weeks. I have red light foot gear and the mouth gear. I also use Vielight MIP and it's fantastic - thinking of buying the Neuro 4 Gamma. Anyway as you can see I'm sold on red light but just can't figure out what the best mask is?
Hey, it was only natural lighting so no it may not have been the same. I worry that the changes people notice are just from the camera/photo and not real life?
As mentioned before you need to use it more 5 weeks. I’ve been using it since 2020 and I’m loving the benefits and changes in my skin. This is the female version ❤
I wouldn't waste my money. I purchased a Rojo 1500. With a stand. Australia free delivery. Alex you helped me make that decision. Service from this company is amazing. So caring listening to all your needs. Yes a phone call. No robots etc.....🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲
Oh neat. Thanks for sharing this. I only have good things to say about Rojo but i know they are knew so it is good to hear customers are having similar positive experiences :)
And the depth of your wrinkles are much less especially for only 5 weeks you should be using it for at least 6-months to really see a huge difference but for 5 weeks there's an insane impressive amount of differences
Why do you want to stop using this wonderful mask? I can see quite a difference in the after pictures.Your freckles have faded greatly.Your lips are fuller and smoother.Your skin is more plump, brighter and smoother.Just imagine what it might look like after using it for a year.I am so glad I bought this for myself a month ago.I can't wait to see what my face looks like after a year of using this.
Please let us know about your experience. Consider joining my Facebook group, where many people ask about the masks and would love to hear your progress. facebook.com/groups/lighttherapyinsiders
A panel would cover a bigger area and, because it is stronger, would require less treatment time. However, many people like their masks, and I Plan on comparing masks in the future.
i think your viewers are commenting that they see a huge difference because the before photos are much more HD than the after photos. why is that? thanks for the 100% honest video by the way. it's so refreshing.
Hey, I took the photos with the same camera at the same position with the same settings. But I worry that the lightning was different and thus has created a visual difference?
@@LightTherapyInsiders i would say it was because in the after photo, you were too close to the camera, so it didn't focus as well. in the before photo, it's more focused, as you can see the individuals hairs in your beard wheraes in the after photo, it's more fuzzy and blurred, which is probably why people thought your skin had fewer brown spots and looks more smooth. anyways thanks again for being so transparent. you did your best. it's extremely difficult to take before and after photos that isolate the variable
I see a lot of difference in your forehead lines. Especially in the 'Squishy' face before and after. Also, just looking at those Squishy face pics made me smile! 😅 Thanks for doing this demonstration.
Your skin in only a short 6 week period shows an improved texture, however my skin after 6 months shows a substantial improvement. Maybe because I use the before and after products to use with the mask. I also use it every night just because I enjoy the 10 minute down time while I listen to zen music.
I'll take it! I've watched your previous videos and been wanting to try red light therapy for quite some time. Wish the military used this type of therapy but it doesn't
Yeah I needed to control for the lighting. It was the first time doing a before/after - especially with skin etc and I understand now how important lighting is for these photos.
Hi from Australia I’m hoping you can review the Equinox Contour Face Mask by Luyors. Their comparison with Omnilux indicates that it is superior in many ways. Also few $100 cheaper AND includes neck attachment too. Many thanks Dani x
Hey, I can see if I can get my hands on one. But a quick look at their site shows that it may be a better options. They include Blue and Amber light - blue is only useful for acne, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. Amber does have some credibility behind it. It's hard to comment on how effective these LEDs are though without having one in hand to test. Ie. How much power are they putting out. Are the wavelengths listed on the site what is actually being emitted. I'll see if I can get one to review though :)
Good question - I will do a blog on this in the future. But the research typically uses lasers that put out a lot of energy at a particular wavelength and not much energy beyond that wavelength. LED's put out energy across a wider range of wavelengths. If you watch this video you will get a better understanding of this - ua-cam.com/video/YbC7b0HLrLM/v-deo.html - so typically a LED emitting say 630nm will also put out a heap of light in the 633nm range as well. as for what happens with the body - one or two nanometers difference is not going to make much of a difference assuming you're dealing with wavelengths that are well researched to be beneficial (such as 800-860nm or 600 to say 680nm).
For a very long time I was married to a very selfish male, had 4 very active children to look after. I took care of everyone except myself. The abuse I suffered from him that landed me in the hospital was a turning point in my life. After healing, I still had a few facial scars. I tried different creams, ointments, etc. Nothing helped. I hate to put makeup on my face, even to cover the scarring, so, people could see the scars, some of them even asked me about them. I struggled a lot, being completely on my own. The divorce was 2007, I lived in survival mode for a decade until something I had worked on for 5 years came to fruition. I believed it would pay off, eventually, if I just kept going. In 2017, it paid off & it paid off BIG. There was one woman who had helped me a lot, I used some of my windfall to take her to Hawai'i for 7 days as an expression of gratitude. She helped me so much, never asked for anything in return, I had nothing. Soon after that, my dream career began happening. When I heard about red light therapy, it sounded more like prostitution, to me, so, I laughed about it. Then, I started hearing about Omnilux & their LED devices as well as skin care hydrogel masks. I looked into it, kept an eye on reviews, then, I got a big holiday bonus from work. I decided to try the contour (LED face mask) first. After 10 days, it stopped charging. I was so disappointed. I called the Omnilux company. It was a surprise to speak to an actual person! It was actually the head of the company. It was a holiday & she was the only one there, so, she answered the phone! She was so polite, told me that I didn't have to send the mask that had stopped charging, to just dispose of it as I would dispose of any technology waste such as a TV or radio. She looked at my account, emailed a form to me right then. I filled out the form, faxed it to her. I received another new LED Contour less than 2 days later. After 30 days of everyday use, people who knew me began commenting about how good my skin looked & that it looked like I had used concealer on the scars on my face. I ordered the LED device for neck & chest (one device that treats both areas). When the LED gloves came out, I decided to use my next work bonus to buy 2. Having used the face, neck & chest devices every day with the rare, skipped day, for almost 3 years, now, I see that no one can see my face scars except me, because I know where they were. I started using the LED glove on Juy 1, 2022. I didn't even feel that my hands were at all stiff or that I had lost fluidity of movement. After 2 months of using the gloves, my hands DO look better. The sunspots are gone, the skin is thicker, the color is more even. The best part about the LED gloves is that my hand movements have become very fluid. I use my hands a lot to work. Also, I'm passionate about intricate needlework & French hand sewing, getting that fluidity back, is such a bonus!
I am so happy for you! I'm 72 and purchased all 3 devices and SWEAR by them. My skin is so crystal clear from useing these devices! All you can do is put your story out there! Most people will say oh it's your genes or they are just not consistent, as that is so important! I am so happy with my results and know I owe it all to Omnilux!
@@luvladydi Thank you for taking the time to comment. It makes me so happy that others are getting good results with Omnilux. The comments on social media are so unkind. The commenters are quick to shoot it down even after they have never tried it, nor do they know anyone who has ever tried it. One person even attacked me in comments, criticizing me for how I spend my own money. After having worked so hard for so long, after doing without even necessities for so long, I feel that no one has the right to tell me or really anyone how to spend their own money. Yes, LED devices from all companies who sell them are pricey. Many people spend more on an iPhone or a monthly car payment that they struggle to pay. Love my Omnilux devices, will continue to use them.
You already get a ton of red light therapy... it's like your whole thing. I would have been very surprised if the difference was notable for that one particular product.
You probably didn't get a change since you've been using panels for a while. I see smoother skin (freckles not at dark) in the after pic but it could be the lighting.
@@LightTherapyInsiders No problem. I’ve used it on and off so maybe it’s just needs more use. However it might just need a laser which I would rather avoid
I see a big difference, and it's not because of the lighting. Less brown spots, even skin tone, face is more illuminating/ brighter, smoother skin, and also some finer lines are gone. These are great results after only 5 weeks.
Wish i could be that person, because of some scars on my face and pain in the face after an accident and nerve pain ;-) Green light has some additional benefit
@Red Light Therapy | Alex Fergus i would love a large panel for my body though. As for red-light therapy on your face. About 2 years ago I got burnt by a bad laser technician on my face. I had really bad pigmentation /dark melasma/ brown marks where the nurse burnt me. It was so bad I was devastated. Due to covid I was in another state to see my family. My beauty therapist there had dermalux led machine. 12 sessions later the pigmentation had healed/ cleared up about 90%. I researched led masks for home and settled on the current body one as it was under $500 Australian dollars, and also I found it omnilux makes a bunch of the silicone masks for other brands. At the time I bought it, omnilux was not selling their make in Australia yet. I use mine regularly, and to me, it's really a maintenance tool. It gives me a glow, and i also use it on my body, especially for wound healing , and it helps with inflammation. My shoulder gets really sore at times, and I put the mask on my shoulder and secure it with another Velcro strap I have. The mask flexibility is great for our body contours. For my face, I feel like it keeps my pigmentation/ freckles at bay. It hasn't gotten worse, and it anything I feel like they've lightened, but aren't gone 100%. I think I'll need something a bit stronger, like a peel or laser. I do agree that the battery needs a clip.
@@rose2dimples Wow thanks for sharing this and I'm sorry to hear about what you went through. Yes there is no reason why you can't use the mask on other areas of the body - good on you for doing this. I'm looking into the Dermalux now and I'm tempted to get one and experiment with it. It sounds like a great unit!
@Red Light Therapy | Alex Fergus you got to get bang for your buck! Lol. I even use my current body mask on my neck because I refuse to buy the neck attachment. My therapist had a dermalux flex. It had red/blue and NIR. I'd love to buy one or a large panel one. What they really need is to make a sleeping bag version!!
There is a huge difference in the two pictures. Freckles are lighter, forehead wrinkles are less deep, your skin is more glowy, lips are puffier, around the eyes is softened. I'm amazed at the results in 5 weeks. Results seem better than retinol.
it just shows how some people's naked eye isn't very good at spotting finer details, crazy that he can't see!
I see a SIGNIFICANT reduction in brown spots. Skin is brighter & more even toned.
Maybe. Maybe it's the change in lighting? But maybe you are right. I should probably do a longer experiment,
I have to say I see a difference too.👍🏾
@@LightTherapyInsiders do it longer. I think it was working. Only one way to be sure.
10000% difference. Your freckles are wayyyy lighter.
@@LightTherapyInsidersthen why are you on selling this product with a code name to get a discount?
I feel like there’s quite a difference. Even in the wrinkles as well as the lightening.
I would definitely keep using it if I were you
Ok good feedback, maybe a longer term trial will be good.
i agree!
Hey thanks for your comment. Yeah I didn't think to focus on skin tone and coloring it - my focus was on the fine wrinkles. @@LightTherapyInsidersyour glabella area is much smoother and brighter. I am impressed with your results! If you need someone to wear it for an extended period, I am happy to do an experiment for you! 🙋🏼♀️
Your skin is brighter i saw a huge change.
Ok thanks!!
I think the beauty space just has fat profit margins that they need to maintain (and also they need to make a heap of money to pay for all the glamour models that endorse the products :P)
In all seriousness I do know that some products in the beauty space have crazy margins.
@@annmarieknappmay I ask what panel and goggles you have? I'm looking for a good panel instead of a mask
Even if your wife doesn't want photos I think you're feedback alone on her experience would be valuable. We trust your word :)
Hey, thanks for your comment. Yeah I think the panels offer better value as well :)
Exactly like me
It looks like your freckles are a little lighter?
Maybe, it could be the lighting though?
Thanks for testing the mask Alex! Can’t wait for your helmet review!! 😃
Thanks. That will be some time away - as I want to get some EEGS first then do a follow up one etc.
Yes - very true.
Definitely see a difference. You skin is brighter and less pigmented. I would suggest you continue the use. You’re handsome regardless. ❤
Why thank you :D
Thanks for your honesty. I’ve had the omnilux mask for three years and never saw a difference.
@@MsGlamourcatI had it for a year zero difference things a scam
Big changes! Keep using! Maybe you can’t see it, but it’s there!!! 😊
Wow I even see a difference with your forehead lines. There’s a pretty big difference for just 5 weeks, pretty cool!
I'm thinking it is just a lighting change that has caused that? But maybe I'm wrong.
Thanks
Michelle 😊

I see a huge difference! Brighter skin and your freckles are lighter!
Hey thanks for your comment. Yeah I didn't think to focus on skin tone and coloring it - my focus was on the fine wrinkles. Its what I do on this channel :)
IRestore has an LED mask. I have their irestore pro hair device and I've had outstanding results. I just heard about the mask and I bought it immediately. Thank you for teaching me so much about wave lengths and becoming an educated consumer.
Thanks for sharing!!
In the pictures, it looks like your forehead and crow lines are less deep, and your complexion is a bit brighter with less hyperpigmentation
Wow cool, I didn't notice all of these things. And a lot of people have told me they notice changes.

Are you trolling us right now? You don't see much of a difference? Look at your skin damage in the forehead right above the nose, it's almost totally gone 😅. Even the wrinkles near the eyes are less deep, this is massive.
impressive interpretation of red therapy light mask with amazing effect before and after.
Definitely see a pretty decent difference for only 5 weeks bro. Your red light journey has expanded quite a bit and got me to purchase a 5k Platinum LED biomax 900 wall panel setup so thanks a lot!
Do you have it set up, yet? Wondering how you like it
I would start with one and see if you get the results you desire. If you get a panel, you might not need/want to get a mask.
I definitely see changes, fine lines I see a lot of less darkness around the eyes. I immediately saw them in thr first picture. I do think tho that having a panel vs a mask is a more beneficial investment.
Interesting! I didn't think there were changes in the fine lines, but maybe I am wrong!
@@LightTherapyInsiders I promise within the first 2 seconds I noticed the difference 😁
I think I'll wait to see what's coming out after listening to this video
Thanks for your videos
Hey, wow thanks so much for an excellent comment.
I really do think some of the changes viewers are seeing is because of a lighting change. But maybe I'm wrong.
Good points with the LED arrays - I didn't think to cover this in my review.
But yes all this points to more reason why a panel is going to be better than a mask. Thanks again!
I see a huge improvement!
Fake bot accounts all with 1 comment all 10 years old, all trying to sell this scam
Those who say they see an improvement aren’t taking into account that the after photo should have improvement mostly on one side of the face. But the after photo appears better all around the face: likely because of lighting/angle differences.
He also mentioned in the video light therapy on one side would cause some benefit on the other due to the entire body responding to the stimulant
@@Jcz7uz I know; hence the word, “mostly” in my comment.
So are you saying there are other companys that will help replace a product even after it's warranty is over?
I see a difference in pigmentation!! Definately a difference...stay with it

your face looks more clear on the right.. more sun damage and marks on the left.. and five weeks isn't a good enough try.
I've seen an older woman on UA-cam in her 70's.. she had major change after six months of use.. and at 12 weeks, her change was minimal. So.. i am guessng the older the person is the longer it takes for the skin to rejuvinate ..which makes sense.

I’ve already got a full-body panel; why would I want a mask?
You wouldn’t.
Exactly my point.
Yeah you don't really need a mask if you have a panel. Unless the mask offered wavelengths not present in the panel. OR you like the idea of using a mask for face treatment (i.e. being able to move around etc)

I can't give honest feedback on a product that I haven't tested, sorry.
You definitely have a difference mate, Tone, less visible fine lines and wrinkles, less texture.Possible collagen induction too due to the ATP.
I didn't notice any change with the fine lines - thats what I was mainly focusing on. But maybe you're right on the other changes.
Alex I think you should do some deep dives on whether RL or IR light causes facial fat loss, which would not be ideal.
Yeah a few people are asking me about this. I'll look into it and report back :)
Maybe i should keep using it 😆
Ha! ☀️
Isn’t that the thought behind all the LED, and laser treatments?

I only use mask when I am testing them. My set-up is 4 BioMax Panels.
Major improvement but was your lighting the same?
Hey, it was only natural lighting so no it may not have been the same. I worry that the changes people notice are just from the camera/photo and not real life?
As mentioned before you need to use it more 5 weeks. I’ve been using it since 2020 and I’m loving the benefits and changes in my skin. This is the female version ❤
Glad you are loving the skin benefits!
It’s very subtle changes, but with continued usage it slows the rate of skin damage.
Ok I may have to look at extending the experiment!
Will you be uploading an omnilux vs Dermalux anytime soon? Looking to purchase but can’t decide which!

I see a lot of difference in your forehead lines. Especially in the 'Squishy' face before and after. Also, just looking at those Squishy face pics made me smile! 😅 Thanks for doing this demonstration.
Oh thank you!
There is a big difference between the before and after you don't see it?
I worry it's just a difference in the lighting?
@@LightTherapyInsiders That is possible!
Your skin in only a short 6 week period shows an improved texture, however my skin after 6 months shows a substantial improvement. Maybe because I use the before and after products to use with the mask. I also use it every night just because I enjoy the 10 minute down time while I listen to zen music.
Very glad to hear you have seen a substantial improvement. Thanks for sharing!
I'll take it! I've watched your previous videos and been wanting to try red light therapy for quite some time. Wish the military used this type of therapy but it doesn't
I know James Carrol sells his products to the US special forces - ua-cam.com/video/jUCt5CmGrcI/v-deo.html
There is a significant difference!
Do you reckon? It's not just a change in lighting?
Definitely an improvement especially around forehead.😮
:)
I can see difference. Wrinkles are less prominent, kinda blurred. And your skin looks brighter and less tired.
Thanks!
Wonder if its energy output matches what they say it has.
I looked at that in this video - ua-cam.com/video/mwjWotblYF8/v-deo.html
There’s only a lighting between before and after. The after looks better but both sides look better and only one side got exposed to light
Yeah I needed to control for the lighting. It was the first time doing a before/after - especially with skin etc and I understand now how important lighting is for these photos.
You'd definitely have to avoid letting your face get hit by panels before testing outside tech
Yeah I was limiting panel use - and only trying to use them on my back etc. A few times I still used my panel but I had the mask on
Huge difference in just 5 weeks!
Do you reckon? I didn't think there was much change - but I was focusing on the fine lines.
Yesss thank you Alex 🎉🎉🎉
I see quite a difference too!
Any Ali Express or Amazon mask with similar testing results? Nowadays they all look like Omnilux and "say" they have the same specs.
Not that I am aware of but I do plan on testing a few from Amazon.
Nah, the difference is so obvious. Your skin tone has evened out significantly, and your texture looks softer.
I actually see a big difference, especially in discoloration and freckles. Maybe you should get some glasses?
So many people are stating they see a difference! I guess you don't notice some changes when it's yourself.
Is 630 really different from 633 nm?
@@LightTherapyInsiders Thank you .
Alex LOLLLL how do you not see wrinkle and brown spot reduction in those pics? It's definitely working!
Funny, most commenters are saying that.
Definite improvement in skin tone. I thought that was one of the selling benefits they push?
Thank you for telling your story! Inspirational. So happy for you
I am so happy for you!
I would have been very surprised if the difference was notable for that one particular product.
yes that is a valid point.
You have a gorgeous complexion.
Why thank you :)
I can't believe you can't see the difference. I personally see a huge improvement!
I think you don't see improvements on yourself.
You probably didn't get a change since you've been using panels for a while. I see smoother skin (freckles not at dark) in the after pic but it could be the lighting.
Yes good points. I've found another guy who has never used RLT and is going to experiment with it. Stay tuned for that review :)
Love this been thinking of buying it for a friend! Btw I see a huge difference in his skin! And love his accent and he’s sexy 🫶🏼👌🏽💯
If you purchase it, let us know how your friend likes it. Thanks for the compliments!!
Yes there is a difference
Thanks!
It looked like some of your hyperpigmentation disappeared in your after photos. I don't know if anyone else noticed that?
A few people have said this yes.
I bought this for a hypopigmentation scar but sadly no results after almost two months
Oh sorry :(
How often are you using it?
@@LightTherapyInsiders No problem. I’ve used it on and off so maybe it’s just needs more use. However it might just need a laser which I would rather avoid
Is that a Neuradiant 1070 helmet on the shelf behind you?
It is indeed :)
ua-cam.com/video/TnM5eRPvfC4/v-deo.html
Interview with the CEO is coming soon as well :)
I can see a big difference in the lines around your eyes
I see a big difference, and it's not because of the lighting. Less brown spots, even skin tone, face is more illuminating/ brighter, smoother skin, and also some finer lines are gone. These are great results after only 5 weeks.
Thank You.
Even though you covered half the mask, all of your face seems brighter with less freckles - lots of changes
How difference
I heard that it may take 1 year with consistent use to see the result
RLT does need to be consistent to see benefits. I don't think a year, though.
How long do we keep these on?
Depending on the mask, some are 10 minutes, and many are 20 minutes.
Wish i could be that person, because of some scars on my face and pain in the face after an accident and nerve pain ;-) Green light has some additional benefit
Oh I'm sorry to hear about your pain. You could try a cheaper panel such as this - ua-cam.com/video/iWSJub-ABs4/v-deo.html
@@LightTherapyInsiders thank you
I saw a video made by a woman who used it on her neck and after a year and a half her neck really was noticeably less crepey. But it was 18 months.
That is a long time, but the collagen cycle is approx 30 days, so I suspect for some it might take a while.
I’m thinking that you already get the max benefits from the red lights that you already use
Good point!
Great video. I use my current body in the morning. I wake up, and put it in and have a snooze for 10 mins
Hah I didn't think of using it this way!
I see a huge difference!
Maybe I should keep using it, lol
