Fontaines D.C are pretty cool. They're essentially a post punk revival band where the deadpan/monotone vocal delivery was the essential part of it (best example is Joy Division). The instrumentation however has a Shoegaze sound to it (Slowdive, My bloody valentine)... In my opinion his vocal delivery helps with understanding the lyrics quite easily, also it makes you feel like you're able to sing that yourself as well as he does. Imperfectly perfect
Porn Crumpets are wicked man! Local Perth band from Perth, Australia (my home state)! This song is off their latest album, Night Gnomes, which is now their 5th record! I would recommend starting with their first abum, High Visceral pt 1. It'll give you a better understanding of the band as the whole. One of the best bands i've seen live too, great atmosphere!
