Gauge '3' Railway : Sunday working sees Contractors train at Ubley

A short running session on our Gauge '3' Garden Railway; 'Blagdon and Pensford Light Railway'. Manning Wardle Class l, 'Thomas Albert', shunt some stock of construction contractor 'Joseph T Firbank' at our recently refurbished 'Ubley' station. In real life, this was the company that built the Basingstoke & Alton Light Railway; this was the line used for the film 'Oh Mr Porter!'.
Our neighbour was busy that day also, with Grandma and granddad over too.
The over recorded whistle sounds are of 'River Mite', one of the steam engines at the 'Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway', which we visited recently.
