CRAZY READ By Daniel NEGREANU!!!!!!!!!

  • Daniel Negreanu has built his huge bankroll around making thousands of mind-boggling calls and folds on the felt. He is known to be able to read situations perfectly and will often call out his opponent’s exact holdings! In this hand, only Kristen Foxen stood between him and another PokerGo title. Could Negreanu use all of his experience to make an insane read and lay down a monster hand on the river?
When playing against strong, competent opponents, you should be careful about betting too thin for value when your opponent can often have the nuts in their range. Strong poker players will recognize this and will find these situations and may bluff you off your marginal holdings.
Daniel Negreanu ‘DNegs’ or ‘KidPoker’ is in the top 8 on the poker all time money list with over $52,000,000 in total live earnings. He has 6 World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. Negreanu is 49 years old and originally from Toronto, Canada but resides in Las Vegas, U.S.A. Negreanu grew up playing primarily cash games and has appeared on many popular poker shows such as High Stakes Poker, High Stakes Feud, Poker After Dark, and High Stakes Duel (he won the most recent season, beating Eric Persson and Doug Polk and claiming $200,000 as well as the championship belt). Daniel is now a GGPoker ambassador after leaving PokerStars where he was an ambassador for nearly 12 years.
Kristen Foxen ‘krissyb24’ is a Canadian professional poker player with over $7,500,000 in live tournament earnings. She has 2 WSOP bracelets, her first came from the $1,500 6-Max No-Limit Hold’em Bounty in 2016, and her second was from the $2,500 No Limit Hold'em 6-Max in 2020.
The PGT Kickoff series was a series of six $10,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em poker tournaments played from January 2-7, 2024, and was hosted at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
    $10,000 - 2024 PGT Kickoff Event #5 - Results
    1st: Kristen Foxen - Canada - $165,000
    2nd: Daniel Negreanu ‘Dnegs’, ‘Kidpoker’ - Canada - $105,000
    3rd: Samuel Laskowitz - U.S.A - $70,000
    4th: Aram Zobian ‘Aggro_Aram’ - U.S.A - $50,000
    5th: Alex Foxen ‘bigfox86’ - U.S.A - $40,000
    6th: Masashi Oya - Japan - $30,000
    7th: Eric Baldwin ‘basebaldy’ - U.S.A - $20,000
    8th: Dylan Linde ‘ImaLucSac’ - U.S.A - $20,000
    🔍 Preflop:
During heads-up play in this PokerGO Tour event, Daniel Negreanu limps in with QJ of diamonds from the button, which is also the small blind when playing heads-up. Kristen Foxen decides to check with K2o from the big blind, and they both head to a flop.
💸 Flop - Ad Jc Tc:
Foxen flops a gutshot straight draw to broadway on this wet & connected flop. After she checks, Negreanu bets 60,000 with his second pair, a gutshot straight draw, and a backdoor flush draw. Foxen sticks around with a call, and they head to the turn.
    💣 Turn - Qh
The Q of hearts on the turn is disastrous for Negreanu as he improves to two pair while Foxen improves to an ace-high straight. Both players check, and they head to a river.
    🌊 River - 5s
The 5 of spades on the river doesn’t bring in the front door flush. Foxen now looks to get some value from the nuts as she fires out a bet of 250,000 into the 300,000 pot. Negreanu begins to think out loud, giving a rare insight into what goes on in the mind of a poker wizard. Will he be able to get away from a disguised two pair after playing the hand so cautiously? Stay tuned to the end of this poker video to see if he folds or calls!
Jonathan Little analyzes live poker hands from TV poker shows such as Poker After Dark, Hustler Casino Live, The Lodge Poker Club & PokerGO. He also analyzes popular poker vloggers such as Rampage Poker, Brad Owen, Jaman Burton, Ashley Sleeth, Wolfgang Poker and others!

Seems like a leap to me. She’s probably slowing down the ruffling of her chips because she’s thinking about what sizing to use. Presumably she would do that with bluffs and value.
Top players are not usually tell boxes.

    • @RCFSULAW
      @RCFSULAW 3 місяці тому

@@leonproud400 This is why you observe people over a period of time. Watch also the facial expressions and body movements. This is why players develop the opposite false tells. For example ween a flop hits and and you have nothing. Look at the other players chip stack which actually depicts a strong hand. Very effective when playing against establish players. This is why the best pros remain silent during an entire hand they are involved in. Let the other player talk to himself

What’s the best play here - to fold more hands in these spots like Daniel did / does or call it off more often in the same sernarios? Of course you can’t be correct every single time, so which is the best play (on average).
Fav female player has to be the 1st EPT Double champ - Vicky Coren Mitchell. She’s also got morals and parted ways with poker stars when they started up their casino business on their poker client. Good for her x 2.

A person claiming to be a pro takes a 10 to one draw.... gets balls lucky and hits their card only to get paid NOTHING. oh ya... great player... with moves.... NOT.
Had Daniel raised preflop for value and bet the flop he would have one preflop or on the flop.... bet your hand and stop trying to be tricky. The average person .... even some pro as this shows.... will call with absolutely nothing so make them pay to get thier cards
