The opening scenes of this are from one of my most popular films - a winter munro hike in Torridon ua-cam.com/video/_r21Pa4OYRk/v-deo.htmlsi=9PNtgESOmYw1e2Om
your cinematography is simply superb. just found your channel at the weekend and have been watching your Scotland series. I love that they are silent and let the landscape speak for itself. these are truly inspirational. please keep up the great work.
A resume of mountain magnificence, what a jolt for the memory banks...and thats only about seventeen of them! What a beautiful video, and yes no matter the scars left by the people and the choices they make those mountains will remain, but ... You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. ... Antoine de Saint- Exupery I think we can make the land better again. Cheers Jim for the magic.
Wow! You have captured the scale and beauty of the scottish landscape so wonderfully. Really stunning, love some of the tiny details too. So pleased to have discovered your films. Thanks!
So beautiful Jim. I always get a loving 'glow' of the mountains watching your videos. 'Particularly wowed by that short sequence at 21.28 of the rising sun continually caressing the summit. Thanks for the effort of putting this together and sharing. 👍🏻
That was a lovely sunrise. I remember it well! Had checked beforehand where the sun was going to rise so I knew where to set up the camera. Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment.

Thanks Frank. No, I don't do any full on colour grading. I do some tweaks but only to a small degree, usually just exposure and contrast.
