It’s great to see the old sharpening station back in business.
East Coast men sharpen our tools with the calluses on our hands because we don't have soft skin like west coast fancy boys!!!
The good ol’ east coast hand strop😂
So that's why you can't cut anything worth a damn.
Men on the east and west coast are pretty soft these days.
😂 lol love the rivalry
Us Midwesterners think that men on both coasts are a little salty.
Touches of old school video, I miss them.
It would be awesome to bring back the whole wood shop.
I’ve been watching your old videos and have learned a lot.
I miss that old shop and saved all those videos when he redid all of it. Modeling mine after that shop
There was a Russian sharpener at one time.
Of all the tools, I've seen on this channel that stencil machine is my favorite.
me too !
thanks cody, i started watching you sharping tools. i tried to learn while i was in school but my instructor didn't want to bother.
Great video, so many small, but useful tips to use. God bless you and your family Cody!
I always learn something from your videos. Keep up the good work and keep your powder dry.
A lovely kit, Cody. Everything fits perfectly.
Definitely fizz worthy!
Nice to see this type of video from you again….. bravo!!!!
Wow, this really takes me back to when you first made this cabinet. I remember how satisfying it was to watch you make it.
Quite the interior designer you are. I wish I had that ability to be so neat and tidy
Now that is a nice lable stencil maker. A little over the top for the average joe like me but the type of thing you'd love to find on a flea market for a good price. Nice.
Thank you for sharing. I always learn and enjoy your videos. I appreciate your efforts in sharing your knowledge.
I absolutely adore witnessing the harmonious amalgamation of the workshop, adorned with the exquisite inclusion of your esteemed grandfathers' meticulously crafted tool drawers. It is truly a sight of unparalleled beauty!
Big words.
Another great video Brother :) Learned some stuff. I noticed, when your working on something, whatever doesn't matter what, you have everything neat clean and ready to use, easy to find, cleaned and prepared before storing and ready to go when needed. That impressed this 71+ yr old. I am going back and organize all my stuff, easy to get lazy and stop doing what needs to be done. You said something the other day, my dad, grandpa always believed in and did. "If something is worth doing, it is worth doing right" thanks WBC :) 🙏❤💯🙏
It’s pretty hard to be that clean.
A true trip back in time Cody!! I have watched all videos for over a decade and the feel of this video took me back to happy days in past! Thank You Sir!! @wranglerstar
The East Coast version of this cabinet would have been refinished with old wood paneling left over from a basement remodel.
That’s really nice. I’m in the middle of a whole lot of storage and organization.
I would probably put some cup hooks on the outside to hang a brush. That way when you put your tools back you’ll always have a quick way to tidy up the bench of stone or file dust.
That particular brush is allowed to get oils and sharp nastys on it unlike other shop brushes meant for cleaner things.
I love when you make kits of tools. Great video thank you!
Great setup and advice. Thank you.
Oh man, the shop is so neat and spacious! Something to aspire to!
I'm glad to see a cabinet from the old shop I didn't think you kept any of them.
GO LOCTITE! God Bless you
I wondered when this was going to make it back in the shop. 😊
Thank you for the video.
Now, that’s sharp!
Thank God. Something useful finally.
thanks for sharing, great video
Another great video! Your music selection is perfect! Love the Forest service dark green color..
Thank you very much!
Blown away. !! Every time!! So what are the chances of something extraordinary? I as myself?? Well you did it again!! The tape and paper applicator!!?? That’s friken brilliant!!
Dilute some sulfuric acid to about 10-20% and soak your files anywhere between 10 and 24 hours and it brings them back to life. Another good sharpening tool.
Great idea, i like it.
Organized, Mentor! My small Ingersoll Rand air compressor comes in handy before I paint or clean my tools. It really cleans those pores out! Sleep well, and remember your dreams, Sir!
Great project, keep all your sharpening tools in one place. The Worksharp belt sharpener is fantastic, puts a edge on my knives like they just came from the factory. So glad you chose East Coast Man Green as the color to paint the cabinet. See some of us have things in common with West Coast man. The best part was the stencil letter maker, I didn't know they existed in a small form factor like yours, will have to look for one to purchase. Over-all this was a great informative video. Thanks for sharing.
What if you work in multiple places? You can’t have all your files in one place.
Looks nice!
thats a lovely green
Man, I love those French cleats
Love French cleats. Grandpa always had the coolest tool storage and now I use it for everything from tools to gym equipment
I tried to buy French cleats but I find that the French have small feet
I hope this means we are going to get back to wood shop content soon. I've really missed watching you make wood projects with your hand tools.
It always amazes me that people get mad at Cody for having tools and land. That’s his job! To teach us things and show us what can be done. He’s an almost old enough to think about retirement and has had multiple successful businesses this being one of those. We get All his knowledge from those jobs and years of experience and he gets to buy nice, quality tools to teach with. Sounds like a win win to me.
Those M12 tools are so nice
Cody sold me on Milwaukee and I’m switching to them.
Very nice!!
Lovely!
I like to use a trimmed down handle on my paint brush for easier inside cabinet/shelves work.
return of the epic french cleat!
Would love to know your playlists or whatever you listen to whenever your earbuds are in!
Well done sir
Practical video.🙂👍
this video is hypnotic - i cant pull myself away lol - must go to sleep.
Cool video brother, thanks.
Y'all take care and may Father YHVH God bless you and your family.
Love the label. Better than a Dymo in that application IMO.
What happened to your TSPROF kit? I bought one of those kits based on your videos of their stuff and have been in love with my KO3 ever since I got it.
Every now and then I see a tip like putting plastic in a paint tray and I am satisfied my hours of watching UA-cam is the right thing to do
Could u show how u made the jig for those blocks to determine angle for the honing guide?
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Very nice
Goodness gracious, that's handsome.
Should have painted the wrangler star too! cool video I enjoy watching your videos
Where is the TSPROF sharpener?
This is just awesome.
very nice cabinet
This one's a keeper for the next time I have insomnia.
As a part of wranglerstars 7 years old, bit still ongoing series ”How to set up a shop like a pro” just wait a year and we have a complete teardown and a new episode!
Nice!
Awesome stuff, Cody, love how well organised you have your stuff!
Anybody here any thoughts on the tormek sharpening system? Their 'black edition' looks pretty sweet!
Ah…the ole French cleat sharpening cabinet from the old place. NOW…we are getting somewhere!
My mind is blown by the paper roller with the Tape roll at the top.
How cool is that stencil maker?!
Pretty necklase!
I liked and understood everything except the label. I thought it looked much better without it and don't think you would have anyone in there using the sharpeners without knowing where they are located.
The only thing missing is band aids lol !! Great job
Love the content. I am curious why used a chisel. Is the screwdriver chisel dull?
Thank you. Seems I have some catching up to do, youtube has decided not to notify me of any new videos of yours for the last few weeks!
Cody, how do you feel about having a leather strop, like barbers used, for honing?
Where is the TSPROF gimble sharpener ? I bought one after Cody demonstrated it years ago. Its great to have so many sharpening solutions.
Love the green! You should stain the inside of box!
He said why.
I think a second coat is in order unless you were going for a more rustic look. Great video as always Cody
Really glad you’re keeping the chest of drawers ❤memory lane in this video
Cool
Need power in there with a nice bright led strip and an air chuck with a short hose blowgun for chips and such
no Tech Studios? I love my TSproof, got mine ordered the same day your showed off the very first one 9ish years ago
Nice
My new goal in life, is to have a plethora of toupe's, and each one will have it's own style, just like ProHo's.
Paint it purple...to match the dew rag!😉
Haven't seen a punch machine for label making since boot camp... 1983. When I was a Westcoast Man.
Man, I wanna be West Coast sharp..😮
The original way I found you was from your review of the TSPROF sharpener. Where is it?!
OK, it gave me the fizz.
Do you label it so you don’t forget where it’s at?
bussin' ong no cap, fr.
On the file card, I’ve always just used a regular wire brush and it seems to do the trick for clearing a file. Is there a real benefit to having a dedicated file card other than just having the super use case specific tool?
Waiting for the truck to get labeled. Question would be what would you label it?
very nice! i am seriously desiring a stencil machine! i didnt see your crosscut assortment in there, will you put thst kit somewhere else?
Yes, definitely
I've wondered where this thing was and if it would make a return?
Can you provide the measurements for the blocks to sharpen the chisel and irons?
A pretty sharp sharpening center....nicely updated and dressed up. Thanks for sharing.
@wranglerstar I would love to know the paint code or where you got the USFS green paint
That Iron Heart Jacket is looking phenomenal!!
Cody what are the measurements to achieve the angles on your bench?
