I’m a better man today than I was yesterday, and I’ll strive to be a better man tomorrow than I was today. God bless y’all
Amen to that
Cody, you are the exact type of person that our founders wanted to run the country they started. Thank you for always giving fatherly advice to all of us that aren't even your family. Thank you Brother!
Cody for president of the United States of America?
maybe trump's next vice president?
Exactly correct.
Yeah even the old Italian stallion is in need of a little fatherly love and wisdom when it comes from the man himself mr.wranglerstar
we are family in truth, even closer than our blood relatives, we are his family in Christ our Light.
Cody, I don't often comment on videos but I have really been touched by the message in this video. Thank you.
Wow. This video made an indescribable impact on me Cody. I am 19, an advanced dirtbike rider from Hinton, AB (Which I must add, I am beyond excited to see the featuring of, especially with jack as it matches how me and my father were when I was his age) and I am a long time subscriber. At first I was content with watching a video on shop organization, as thats a key role I'd like to work on in my dad's shop. The points kept getting more and more relatable and understanding. I have the greatest respect for you Cody. This made so much sense to a common issue that I myself was found blind to. I just shared with my dad, and I'm sure he is going to enjoy It as much as I did since we have lots of my grandfathers old tools and pride of work in our shop. Well done, hats off. Mat
advanced at 19, wow
@@AaronScarff , Lucky enough I've had the privilege of growing up on an acreage with endless terrain, and being surrounded by a family of racers. My 450 sees 200+ hours from may to late September of single track, sand dunes, trails, mx tracks and enduro.
I, and a whole lotta guys, feel your pain when it comes to organizing and simplifying. Thanks for starting this series, Cody.
Now, this is worthwhile content! Something almost everyone can do - even on a budget! Thanks, Cody!
How great is this...
After cleaning up and organizing my Garage worktop.
I sat down on patio, Lit my cigar, checked youtube, and had your Home emergency kit video pop up. You mentioned a past video on Cribbing.
I found this and will be making Cribbing in AM.
Simple and effective garage organization.
Thank you brother.
Going through all of the comments on this video I can't help but notice home many lives you touch with your videos these days. You aren't just a UA-camr, you are a role model, a father figure, a man that most of us wish we could be and strive to be. You help guide the lost and the searching to find what they really want in this life. Out of all of the channels I subscribe to here on UA-cam, your content benefits me much more than just providing entertainment, you push me to set goals of my own, to be better for my family and to the people around me. I am thankful you were able to meet some of your awesome subscribers at your 1 million subscriber party and that you were able to just get a small glimpse into the community that you have created, guided and care for over the years. I just want to say thank you for just being you, I will always be here to watch and learn from every video you choose to bless us with.
Leave a legacy not a burden. Love your channel Cody. You inspire me to do better. Lord knows we need better men in this world. God bless you and your family 💖
You hit it one the head. I made a cribbing rack a few months ago because I was frustrated always looking around for it. But it is so much more than cribbing. My shop is a mess, but not my cribbing. It's not about the big wars in life, but the small victories everyday in our hearts, family, and community.
Right there with you. I’m only in my thirties and starting my family. I have also felt bound by my collection of tools and materials stored in haphazard and hoarding ways. You are an inspiration and reminder that when fashioning our lives with purpose and pride, we also instill those things in our family and loved ones. I will be with you on the future episodes in this series.
Cody. Thank you!! Videos like this remind me that I need to keep God in everything I do. He uses you as a vessel to humbly instruct and teach through this channel. Thank you for your heart, and making me realize it's never too late to improve and trying to be more like Christ in all tasks. God Bless you and your family. I've shared this video to my kid's even though they are out of the nest. These videos get me teared up, remind me of my Grandad, and bring back great memories. You are so correct in what you said, thank you!!
Love the advise! This one hits a home run in my family. At least my gramp, my dad, and myself, all hoard everything tools, bolts, screws, wood, parts, everything. I've been putin your good advise to use for years. Thank You!
You put the nail on the head there. It's all about the legacy too. Your own legacy and the legacy that was left by others. Great video.
Thank you for being open and honest with your thoughts, its another example of what you are talking about. It sets a great example for other youtubers. Your kids will eventually appreciate your teaching them these things, maybe not now but one day they will realize how much it helped them. Major thumbs up.
What an uplifting and great episode! Well said! Everything that you described, are the feelings i get when I use my grandpas tools and items that were created by his strong ingenuity as a farmer during the depression. This channel is a gem for young fathers who are looking to raise their children in the right way. Thanks Cody!
Thank you Cody. I love these videos. My own Father passed away a few years back (aged 91). He was always so proud when he saw me working with my hands, making or repairing things. It’s great to see someone who really cares about the condition of his shop and tools. Keep this going. I particularly like the scriptural endings to these. Why else are we here but to help our fellow man.
Good Timing. I am organizing my shop and going through similar thought processes and then I stumbled over this. Cool. God is Good. To leave a legacy that points to the real reason we live.
The last two minutes or so of your lesson was priceless, Cody. As always, thank you very much. I hope God continues to bless you and your beautiful family.
Thanks, Cody. Your discussion of leadership is something that I needed to hear.
Your property and shop is so amazing, spent the day retired, organizing your shop.. amazing, inspiring, uplifting. I really enjoy these videos hanging out with ya, if it was an hour of you rambling I would eat it right up! Longer the better
I love how this video had a little bit of a teaching and sort of creating portion, but also had a message along with it. Love your content keep up the great work!!!!
Not a man, but I have not seen that knot before, nor do I have a set of cribbing. I think how many times I go looking for some blocks for the mower or the trailers and have to grab a chunk of firewood!!! Great idea!!!! Showing someone how to clean and organize whether a home or a shop/barn is great and you do it well! Thanks!
I totally agree, it seems that whenever I go to the shop, nothing gets done. I have so many projects 85% done and it weighs on my mind.. so my efficiency is lacking. Mentally I think about stuff not complete when working on new projects... slowed me down so much... I'm glad so many others are going through the same things. Not just me thinking like I have failed. But I do know I have done more with my 2 hands that 99 percent on men have not. But I still feel uncomplete... your videos help me allot... thank you...
Being organized and taking care of the things God puts in your life shows how you appreciate his gift. This also applies to the people in your life.
You can look yourself in the mirror so you know this, but still, I'll say it; you're a good man Wranglerstar.
I'm 34 YRs Old, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I'm glad you do the manly manners. It helps to know I am not the only man that struggles with constantly trying to be a better person. You help me to keep striving to do better even when it's not easy. Thank you.
Honestly these type of videos are some of my favorite from this channel. I am constantly trying to downsize and keep things in order. Its hard to trim the fat but most the time you just need to.
This is one of the most precious videos you’ve ever made. It opened my eyes about my own behaviour, taught me a lesson, and inspired me to treat my beloved ones in a better way. Thank you.
Thank you . I commented on your last talk how much I loved it . I'm so pleased when I hear the wisdom and pure common sense. Thank you for the time you take to explain and your attention to detail.
Thank you regards
Gareth Wiltshire
Hi Cody I'm an avid viewer I never comment however when you was struggling to think of something the viewer may have learned well I'm going to tell you what I learnt I learnt that no matter what it is you do you take pride and that attitude transpires not only into work but family and social life also so thank you Cody
Been a subscriber for a while and I have never left a comment. But this video, I couldn’t help but leave one. It got me really thinking about it. I don’t have anyone in my family of which I would or have inherited anything from or hold on to for sentimental value. Having kids of my own I look forward to them having things of mine that may hold a sentimental value or even just a good memory. Give them something that I wish I had. This video encourages me to do the best I can in every homemade project I do
Dear Cody
I stumbled across your channel a couple months ago, and it has quickly become perhaps my favorite channel on UA-cam and a wonderful resource. I had a great dad, but he passed away when I was 20, and I had failed to learn so much from him that I should have. I knew everything already, like many young men.
I’m now 42, and have learned so much through trial and error. God willing, I am determined to pass along to my sons and daughters as much as I can, and set an example for them as good or better than the one I lost too early.
Thank you for setting a virtual example for us all. May God establish the work of our hands.
Psalms 90:17
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!
Sure I have plenty of fancy snap-on tools... but a lot of times I go grab that ancient Craftsman ratchet because it was my Grandfathers and it reminds me of him every time I use it.
You help to fill a gaping void in the lack of decent men today. As a single mother of 3, one being a boy, I learn so much from you of how to teach him, what to teach him, how to love him as a father should. He will learn what it means to be a good man, I'll see to that. Thank you for the lessons and effort you grant your followers. You are such a sincere, transparent, competent and upstanding solid man. I love love this new chapter you've taken the Chanel to on improving ourselves as humans.
great video and great points in it. I recently gave my storage shed a face lift and turned into a little shop. It's only a 12 ft by 4 ft shed attached to my townhouse but by being very intentional and organized i've been able to turn into a handy little shop. And it's been great to be able to go in there and know where all of my tools are and be able to get stuff done, instead of hunting for tools and setting up a temporary work station before getting stuff done.
Not religious but the morals and life lessons you learn from his videos are what subliminaly keep me watching his builds. A shop should be a place to get away from the stresses of life not a place of searching for the right bolt and tripping over chords! His videos have taught me to slow down and clear your mind. Would like if you made a video on your shop flow and strategies of floor plan layout.
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Thank you for the encouraging and edifying words. Blessings
Another home run we shall always strive to be better and to pass that on. Bravo. As always thank you and Bless you.
Good lesson for the day. We all can clean up a little and it feels good to be organized. Thank you Cody.
Wow, that was intense. I'm so thankful you made this video. Beautifully spoken and I can't tell you how thankful I am for this type of video. Looking forward to the next one. Some of your best work.
Kudos. You're taking it to the next level, Cody. When my grandfather died, and later my father died, there were decades of junk to get rid of from the old farm. A lot of it wound up being scrap metal and trash, some of it rebuildable tools and equipment, and some keepers. I really like how you're thinking of your children and grandchildren dealing with their inheritance of quality items connected to fond memories someday.
This video has to be one of your best. I'm struggling to come up with coherent sentences, to applaud the depth of this video.
There was a huge boom a couple of years ago when the KonMari-book came out about getting your stuff together and people flipped their wardrobes/houses/lives the same way you did with your master bedroom.
The ability and will to organize your life literally and concretely isn't something to take as a granted.
And your two cents in manly manners about relationships and ways to deal about a trait in your partner really hit me. Being an example in what you value in life, is the best way to make change in someone else. The simplicity of that is infuriatingly difficult to realize and act upon.
Thank you for this video and sharing your thoughts.
Wishing you all the best.
Videos like this are the reason I began to follow you! Such a great simple lesson thank you
“standard of excellence is contagious” wise words I needed to be reminded of
Dunnage: noun
pieces of wood, matting, or similar material used to keep a cargo in position in a ship's hold.
How appropriate. As men, husbands, fathers, it is our job to stabilize our families. We do that through action, so small things like keeping the shop and your vehicle tidy make a profound impact. I for one, really needed to hear this.
The message that you delivere is just as important as the information regarding your tools. It’s so meaningful. My friend, God bless you and yours and stay safe!!
This will be a great series. So helpful to so many people.
This video has spoken volumes to me. Thank you.
thank you from the bottom of my heart you have definitely help shape me in some small and large ways as a man so for that again i thank you
This is my favorite kind of video! Just keep doing what you do. Thank you for your time and content!
I’m one of those guys. Getting my shop together, growing my tool collection. Your videos really help me focus my commitment to excellence. Thanks for this
I'm listening..and it makes sense...your a very lucky man to have a family as you do...some do not have or see any kind of family relationships..it's probably what keeps interested the most..thank you for your video...
thats what i love of this channel we get these videos of thoughts of life. Thanks y,all!
I watch every video but I don’t watch the Manley man as i feel that they are old school
What you just said is the best thing i have heard Thank You
It's amazing. Something so simple on the surface can have a profound lesson.
One of your best videos I have watched, and that is nearly all of them. Thanks for the great content and lessons to reflect upon.
Truly inspiring Cody, The world needs more people who speak such raw truth
okay, i dont even know what i was expecting here, but im floored. what a great idea for handles.
I have been watching your video for quite awhile now. And this one really made me want to watch it again. Thank you so much for your advice. It has really helped me.
The message of this video was really great. It is a great summary of who we are as patriots and craftsmen, and the faults we all have and are ashamed of.
Very inspiring, I teared up when you talked about the legacy we are leaving. I going to start on my own ''junk'' pile today.
Wow that's quite a difference. I thought at the beginning of the video "well, it's on a shelf, it's not so bad." but the end result is really nice!
I always enjoy the videos where you try to inspire us to be better than we are!
I’ve had my shop for less than a year and already I’m disappointed in my disorganization. When you guys started pairing your things down it inspired me to do that in my shop. Ive got a lot more to do but I’ve got a great start.
Cody you had me ! I was like only Wranglerstar could make a video about cribbing !! Hast to be getting bored. Then it turned into a lesson !! Great job Cody 👍
brilliant series...im in the process of doing the same myself...having order in your life just makes everything better and life just flow smoother
Thank you Cody, wise words and deeply felt.
I just love this channel! Thank you Cody.
He's on a quest to rid himself of all the things Nutnfancy made him buy.
The only thing is that we, as viewers, need to do this in our own shops for all the nutnfancy things, and all the wranglerstar things...
Listening to anything Futnnancy recommends... lol
#truth 😂
It's not easy keeping control.
Great video, as always, thanks! I did want to comment on something you said about not liking a spouse's or a child's behavior in some area (i.e., how she cleans the house). I learned through my wife the power of saying, "Thank you". When she says, "Thank you" for XYZ it makes me want to do more to please her. It's not Nobel prize worthy but it does create in me a feeling of wanting to do more for her. So, if your spouse, or anyone, does something that you appreciate, or even if they just come close to doing it, say, "Thank you". We all need to know when we get it right. God Bless! SemperFi!
We must be on the same wavelength, because I went to cut some wood on my table saw today and realized I have entirely too much stuff in my way that is not useful, its just in the way of living. So I took a trailer load full of stuff to goodwill and I feel great. I am in a better vibration for sure!
A very touching video, thinking a lot about it since I use the tools my father and granddad also used. Hopefully my sons (or my daughter) will also continue to use these tools.
Your an amazing teacher I appreciate all that you do
What an inspiration you are Cody.
Great message! Thank you for the leadership by example, sir!
Your videos make me miss Oregon so much! Much respect sir!
Great video, love the concept of purposefully making your life simple and organized to bring peace and contentment. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
Thank you, Cody. I always learn so much from you, much respect.
Excellent video with a great message! Keep them coming like this.
Thanks brother for the word of wisdom, I needed that. Also Thanks for sharing Gods word!!
Awesome blessings to you and your family , you know you make religious people look as a role model , mentor or what ever thanks for the help
I never comment, but this was a great lesson. Thanks man.
Amen brother, lost my pop a few months back, brought a tear on.
Good insight. Even if someone is not religious or Christian, there is still a lot of good lessons and morals to learn from in the scriptures.
Your story telling has come a long way since the early days. Thanks for sharing.
Epic video! You have chosen a meaningful purpose in this world, speaking your mind and heart and reaching the masses with His word in a heartfelt and relatable way.
In the modern tech world we are moving into I feel youtubers and social media will be more relevant and influential in being the salt a d light or the world. You hit the (organized ;) nail on the head here Cody. Keep it up brother! You are becoming a leader, if not already!!
Convicting and inspiring sir. Great message as always.
Look forward to this series. Good job.
Excellent topic and well done. And, I've learned people are more interested in my communication when I speak using "I" and "me" rather than "you" and "we".
Peace, Brother
"We're not making pianos" fantastic quote. Thanks for the videos 👍
I am doing the same thing
My dad has 3 plates 2 bowls
6 forks knives and spoons
And that made me realize how bad I hooked on material things
And your cribbing is a prime example
Less=better=organized
And as always you made your point simply
Very good thoughts, Cody. Now i know that I have to do something about my little shop. Greetings.
Great video , I really enjoy manly manners and what you said about peace and being contempt . Those are two things that I’ve learned I want out of life. I’ve also learned there’s only one way to achieve it , and that’s through Jesus. Keep up the good work , I watch every day. God Bless.
Excellent video and topic. Good work Cody!
Awesome. Love it, this will be a great gift idea for my father.
Loving the common man series .wranglerstar goes back to his roots 😍
Enjoyed the video and really like the scripture at the end.
Great video Cody I rarely comment but this is the type of video I appreciate most. It inspires me to do better. To hopefully inspire my sons.
Thank you so much for this video, Cody. Challenge accepted. Lead by example. If I tell my boys to keep their room neat and I don't keep my things neat, that makes me a hypocrite. Great idea about the rope handles. It won't get mixed up with other scrap wood from a project.
