    If you cannot remove the cartridge with a small amount of force, the printer may need to be serviced. I can provide HP technical supports contact information for your country in a private message if you would like.

    I own a deskjet F4180 printer. Yesterday the green "E" started flashing. After working on it for an hour and watching this video, it still has the error light flashing. I can't get any work done. Very frustrating. HPPrinterSupport, I would appreciate more detailed help.

    i found the problem but i don't know how to fix it.while the craddle was moving from left too right i found out that a small piece from the right next to the cartridge opening is suppose to be bent down but instead is up which stops the movement help.

    i think i have this printer for almost 4 yrs
    MashAllah its very good
    but the price of your ink is very high for two refills i could buy new one.

    I put the Black Cartridge in the color cartridge on accident. Now i cant get it out... how do i fix this?

    My carriage is in the right side of the printer and it won't go in the center. When I try to turn it on, the carriage goes from right to left at a normal speed, but at the end of the left side it will go at the right side at high speed and collided at the end with a "BANG" sound, its almost like it wants to destroy the printer itself. Please help me!

    I have an HP computer all in one. Its brand new. and I have an HP F4200 all in one series printer. And I cannot print any pictures from my picture folder. It keeps telling me it has to search for an eprinter??? I have a HP rinter. It doesn't need to search for a printer. It doesn't make sense. It will not print the pictures for me. HELP! Please. And thank You!

      babyRoses7 Did you install the printer driver onto your new HP computer? If not, please search for C03521864 on HP’s home page or using Google search. The title of the document is “Download and Install Your Windows HP Printer Driver and Software for a USB Cable Connection”. It will walk you through installing the printer onto your new computer.
      If you have already installed the full feature software and driver, please search for C03286146. The title of the document is “Try the HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows”. The HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that helps to quickly resolve common printing, scanning and connectivity issues. You can download the utility from hp.com/go/tools

      ***** Thank You so much for your help! I appreciate it very much. But now I have a new problem. The blank ink cartridge keeps popping out when the carriage goes to the right and stops. And no matter how I try to put it back in, even when it clicks. It clicks when you put it in, it will still pop out. What next will happen. But thanks for the info!

      babyRoses7 I recommend that you please call our technical support at 800-474-6836. If you live outside the US/Canada Region please go to Google search and enter 'contact HP worldwide'. Your first option should be the site for contacting HP, when you click on it you will be prompted to choose your country/region. They will help you figure out if it is the cartridge that has an issue or if it is the ink cartridge holder. Please let me know the result.

      The part number for the rear access door on the Deskjet F4180 printer is CB580-60014. You can order the part through HP’s PartSurfer website. You will be prompted to choose your country of residence in the upper right hand corner.

    I cant win for losing. Now my black ink cartridge keeps popping out. And I don't know why?? As soon as the carriage goes over to the right and stops, the cartridge pops out. Lool!

      After you install an ink cartridge, if an Incompatible Ink Cartridge or Ink Cartridges Missing error message displays on the printer control panel or computer screen, the steps in this document should help you fix the issue: hp.care/2tf8Yh8

      +France Magadia If you still have a carriage jam after performing all the steps in the video, then please contact technical support. To contact support, what you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call. It may help speed up the call process.
      Step 1. Click on the link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
      Step 2. Enter Product number or select the auto detection
      Step 3. Scroll down to ‘Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options’
      Step 4. Scroll down and click on ‘HP contact options’
      Step 5. Click on ‘Get phone number’
      Case number and phone number appear.
