I have a theory about Dhalia. Dhalia has been RE made over and over again. Huxley asks if there’s been others and Dhalia mentions she vaguely remembers a bear, this is because the owner got a bear for Dhalia and whiskers, and Dhalia ended up getting crazy and jealous like with Huxley. She killed the bear making the owner re make her, because she’s had so many lives and personalities, it’s hard for Dhalia to remember people. The teddy bear must’ve been a recent incident and there’s actually been many more toys before and Dhalia’ s killed them all off. Dhalia never killed whiskers because he can’t speak, whiskers can’t irritate her or really develop any connection with the owner, so she doesn’t find him a threat. Whiskers knows this is the only reason he’s still alive so when Dhalia suggests she cut him a mouth he’s so scared because his chances only increase of making Dhalia mad.
I feel bad for Huxley, He was my favourite character and my comfort character as soon as I saw him, I wish that there was a ending where you could save all the toys including Huxley...
Aside from my goofy comment from before, it's already observed that Huxley truly is a puppet. He doesn't make any decisions for himself within the first few minutes of being in the doll house. He is extremely used to being used and having absolutely no individuality. How interesting is that?
When I was little my aunt gave me this tiny chicken plushie with beady eyes and I was terrified of it! And I was practically it's slave. I was too scared to hurt it or throw it away because I thought it'd come back to hurt me. I would clean it, put it to bed and tried to feed it so it wouldn't get angry at me. I even hid my favorite toys in my moms room because I thought he would try to hurt them 😂😭

After that, Her focus is a DTWM update, Which they are planning to make Dhalia's diary clearer and a new route, I believe.

I understand Dahlia, she was always appreciated and had attention but having all your trust on someone like your bestfriend you had for years makes it hard to think you are not getting replaced. And no one liked her when she tried hard, even if she had everything its not gonna replace the feeling and the pain.
This makes sense, but he was only there for (most likely) 2 days, and the owner didn’t just switch over to Huxley. They actually gave Dahlia more attention, but she overreacted when the owner got Huxley a gift. I feel like Dahlia was just obsessive of the owner’s love. I think she is like this because she is used to being the only one getting attention, and the owner spoiled her way too much.
Plus, murder and breaking their possessions is a bit much. Instead of going out into a blind rage, Dahlia might have tried to talk to the owner about this if she felt this way. I also think Dahlia killed Wiskers too because she didn’t want the same thing happening with him, even if they can’t speak.

@@Changeofplanslol there actually is one ending where he lives 1/4 spoilers its if you choose dahlia as the favourite and dahlia gets spoiled and becomes entitled leading to her chewing out huxley over stupid shit. huxley is not the confrontation type so he steals dahlias diary to see if she writes about what he did to piss her off to try and fix it and please her. when he tries returning the diary dahlia finds out and they get into a heated argument. huxley says that anytime dahlia does something for him she acts like she expects him to be indebted to her and counting all her favors like he owes her, resulting in dahlia kicking him out of the attic and making the owner take away his spring because “oh you dont like when i do stuff for you?? fine then!” later that night huxley smashes in dahlias face killing her, leaving the owner with the choice to leave him or break him too. he lives if you choose to leave him but the owner is some sadistic god complex having mf so we know huxley is not gonna be having a good time sadly 😭😭

Dahlia reminds me ALOT of Haruka from Beyond You in 2 ways - Dahlia and Haruka's code name - Talia - are extremly similar, and they both get extremely jealous easily. I definitely think this game took inspiration from beyond You for these reasons =D
The music that plays in the murder scene was also in a bunch of Life of Luxury videos, as well as some of the older Sherlock Holmes PC games (and it's probably used in a lot of other things, I would imagine). It gets funnier each time I hear it.
Things like this with living kid's toys makes me feel guilty about abandoning my favourite puppet lamb... I used to have Baa Baa as a little kid but one day was forced by my parents to get rid of half of my soft toys and I've been missing her every since :'( At least I still have Soft Bunny... I have dolls in my bedroom...A lalaloopsy doll and two kokeshi dolls. The rest is plushies, Funko pops, mini figures, two painted rocks, a MugMan cup, and a DIY mouse I named Cheezit.
Fortunately, I value all my toys. (Plus all my toys were TMNT 2012 figures with along with villains that had razor sharp scales, weapons, claws, and guns)
I liked the toys from Dinosaur, that Dreamworks(?) CGI movie about dinosaurs with the t-rex lookin' dinos with the two horns. Back then, they had hand puppets that were the shape of the dinosaur heads, so you could pretend eat or grab things with them. It was awesome in the late 90s.
Okay so the ending scene where dahlia burnt everything and herself reminded me of some the scenes in a danganronpa execution- y'know, celestia? Celestia Ludenburg? And her execution?
