We just got out of the show. Maybe one of the greatest shows I've ever witnessed. This was my first Madonna show. Hope to see her again in my lifetime. Amazing simply amazing
She could have given us a surprise or two in NYC to which the show was dedicated. Madonna sang I Love New York and that was it. Justin Timberlake was in town doing SNL two days before. No 4 Minutes. I thought her NYC shows (I saw two) were muted for her. We took the AIDS tribute pretty hard as so many of her friends died. She's done Take A Bow once on the American Music Awards with Babyface that sounded very good. I think she sang it in Singapore for some reason on Rebel Heart. It's a hard song for her to pitch and I think that's why she avoids it. Or she wrote it for Sean She's said "I was thinking about a movie star when I wrote it." I was at MSG the night in 2016 when she actually sang True Blue to Sean in the audience. I just stared at him the whole time and all he did was grin. It looks like it's replacing RAIN in the setlist here. Rain sounded fantastic but I missed the Donna/Nikki harmonies. Celebration is less a celebration than it is an autobiography set to music. She'd only done Bedtime Story once at the Brits. She'd done Bad Girl once on SNL. She'd done Nothing Really Matters once on the Grammy's. The show was a list of firsts. Still I wish I'd been there for this song. It was No. 1 for eight weeks.
@@richardjohnson9193I saw this tour along with every Tour starting with WTGT 1987, BAM 1990, TGS 1993, DWT 2001, RIT 2004, CONFESSIONS 2006, S&S 2008, MDNA 20152, RHT 2015, MXT 2019 & TCT 2024 & in all 11 Tours & I’ve been front row for 5 of the tours including TCT 2024 & she’s NEVER lip synced in any of the 11 tours I’ve been to. When I saw the BAM 1990 she was really really sick & you see her in truth or dare seeing the throat doctor and that was the same time that I saw the tour and she sang live the entire time because you could hear it in her voice that she was really sick so I’m not sure where you see her lip syncing and all artist use a back tracks but she absolutely 100% sings Live. she sounds excellent live she when she does songs a cappella like she did on her current tour with Express Yourself & the other acappella. She’s incredible so again I have no idea where you got that she doesn’t sing live. Even on this tour when she was performing Open Your Heart and the dancer trips & she falls she was still singing and you can see her singing in the video of it and when she started laughing there were no vocals, it just shows that she’s singing live.
