I've been a notary for at least 6 yrs now. I have used it very, very little. Mostly for work. There are rare occasions when I need to swear in a witness. That's been about the extent. With the few occasions of notarizing documents for people. But I want to start a side job with it. I took the signing agent course and I'm certified now. But what do I do now? I'm in Texas. Do I contact title companies or real estate companies?

I took the courses 6 mos ago but I am going to move forward and restudy the LSS course. I have been on the fence with buying the large laser printer and all the materials after spending for the class & many other fees. There is a lot to buy. So startup is not cheap.
Definitely start with the essential equipment you have, a single tray printer will work just fine for the first few signings then with that you can purchase a better printer 😊

Hello I am a newbie and I wanted to know if I am in SC could I take the class for EZ Notary?
Yea the states are all basically the same with the exception that some offer more notarial acts than others but this class goes over everything since California is the most strict state I think you should be fine taking this class to learn your notary basics

Hi! I have a question for you as a soon-to-be new notary in the state of Texas. Would you recommend purchasing the course after you receive the notary commission? Or would you suggest doing the course while you’re waiting on it to get approved?

Hi! Texas doesn’t have an exam. This class is made for California students. But TX and CA don’t have different notary regulations. They’re basically the same. So you can still use EZNotary to learn the basics of being a notary and the industry
