Tcu tune isn't going to cause you to have to replace the transmission in most cases it will help handle the power and torque better. These cars are hitting 3.0 0-60 times fbo on e85. What would cause you to loose a transmission is not tuning the tcu with the extra power and torque you get from upgrades and ecu tuning until it hits a certain point... the 8 speed in these cars is Koreas version of ZF transmissions rather than going with something that's widely used and proven they choose to make their own so far I haven't seen weak points exposed with the higher hp cars. In the realm of a dual clutch golf r rs3 ect most of the time the stock clutches can handle alot but at a certain point you have to upgrade them.

Harder shifts are faster shifts which is actually better for the transmission.. the only reason manufactures don’t have them shift this way already is cause of driving comfort.. You get in any 1980’s sports car with an auto and they all hit hard cause the higher line pressure makes for faster shifts which means less friction and heat in the transmission which results from slower smoother shifts.. Liken it to riding the clutch in a manual to have zero jerkiness.. autos are slipping all the same to make shifts that don’t jerk..

@@1state152 I have the same issue when slowing down it feels like it kinda drags or dose the shift properly I’m getting a tcu tube soon heard it fixes it
Does this void warranty?
If I pulled up with it on and had transmission issues, yes absolutely. It’s about a 4 min swap out easy install though
Top of line videos reviews and The best quality stinger videos !!! #twn2urbo
Appreciate the luv and support 👊👊
Gotta be the tcu 🤞
Received your T shirts bro.....wifey luv's hers. We have a running bet as to see who will get stopped by the police 1st 😁
🙌🙌 awesome! I forgot I had that link up, I’m going to make some new ones as soon as I have some time! Thank you for the support
Stock launch is awesome …
but this TCU tune….SHIT HOT!!
Skrrrt…. skrrrt Skrrrrrrtttt 💨
You got a transmission oil cooler on?
Not yet, but I’m looking at the BMS one
@@twn2rbo Same. I reckon it's a sound investment.
How much did that Tcu tune run you
It was sent to me by a customer here in the states, he wanted another setting added to it and was going to send it back to Lozic, so we reached out to Lozic and asked if he could send it to me for review instead of back to South Korea and they said ok.
Will that spoiler fit on a 2022 Gt Line ?
I have been told yes, same hatch dimensions
“Isolated road in Mexico”😭😭😭😭
In The end its still a KIA LOL
💩 buddy that's me with out mods😁 love my car... 2days 1yr that I've owned my 22 awd gt1 Loven it😁😁 like I said b4 I want another 1...What Exhaust do u have or you stock?
MBRP Pro Stainless Steel one. I have some vids on it too. Use my KM Tuned link and code TWN2RBO
As soon as it hits 2krpm let go ur building way to much boost and spinning crazy
For sure, this day was my very first day. I have some more vids coming and think I can def get that time better 😁
@@twn2rbo another thing. Put it in custom everything set to sport but put the AWD in comfort or eco it will make the torque split closer to a 40/60 or 50/50 split. Should hook better then the AWD being in sport and 20/80 split.
Lmao he just said someone ordered -13% to me and your video pops up on my feed.
AI is scary bro
Yo brotha do u got ark down pipe ? If not wow a mUst!!!
Considering
This is getting ridiculous lol.
I got one more month until the G70 is here. Just got my VIN so it's almost built....you're a bad influence and I shouldn't be watching these videos. 🤣
😂 😂 yeah I have a love / hate relationship with Kia Motors too. But dude the G70 is sick, I want to drive one. LSD and lighter weight and that interior is on another level with the diamond stitching.. what color spec and drive train did you order?
He's egging you on thats for sure!
@@twn2rbo sorry I didn't reply before, YT turned off my notifications for some reason.
I just picked it up on Friday, I got the 3.3T Sport Prestige in Uyuni White with Sandstorm Grey interior (basically Tan). RWD cause I don't live anywhere near rain or snow lol. Just a few add-ons illuminated kick guards & rear seat usb port.
That’s right! Feels much better. Heat is what destroys trans most of the time, but I monitor is closely
this guy would sell a million stingers if he ever worked for kia,
Lol 😎 and they want to void my warranty in return 🤦♂️
Ok, I can put off my polish session for a bit to attend :)
It’s a beautiful day! I want to see it when your done 👊👊 IG?
I've never used IG. Maybe I'll figure that one out today too.
@@BDColin it’s pretty cool if you like awesome photos of cars etc. I’m more of a visual person so it’s my fav one, I’ve never had social media either until I started this channel
Are you in Mexico Bro? That’s Dope af if u are.. Down shifting saves the F out of my Brembos, for sure.
Hahah I wish, I will be next summer when I fly to my fiancés home county in Ecuador though
Lol " I got to settle down"
😂
Nick. I love this ECU/TCU combo but man with the down shifts u speak of. That worries me with this Cali traffic I'm in I don't want harder down shifts
Just leave it in comfort/eco mode when in traffic then!
But I did . And it great! I just burn rubber.
I’m loving it
Time to upgrade the tires.
PS4’s for sure 😁
Could also just do 6200 x .87 and get the same answer faster. 😂
Yeah but that doesn’t really answer why it’s 13%, some people need it spelled out and that might confuse them, even though 100-13 =87
@@twn2rbo I guess there’s too many people that can’t do 5th grade math 🤦♂️
Also 172 on trans is NOTHING
Yeah I back off around 180, that’s just me
@@twn2rbo I think I posted in another thread, but for reference 175-180 is “operating temperature” for our transmissions. 200 is mildly warm, 220 is time to let off for awhile and 240+ is time to change fluid.
Keep up the content
Damn
These types of modifications are unlawful as they should be.
Not a big fan of unnecessary and arbitrary laws
@@twn2rbo Only someone born decades after the passage of the Clean Air Act would say something so ridiculous. That hot rod you are so proud of would have its paint etched away just by parking it outside on a rainy day in some american cities.
@@bingosunnoon9341 Go back to Greenland where you came from.
These cars are embarrassing
I’ll let management know
You gotta love the posers who get a piggy back tune and an intake and then think they are professional drag racers. Look at this guy's face when he hits the gas and the things he says... LOL. Time for a Blow off Valve now if you are trying to go full poser!
I did an install vid on BOVs recently, make sure to leave a comment on that one too 🎉😎
@@twn2rbo Love the Biden like rebuttal! As you get older and contribute to the tax system you will learn. One day you will look back at these videos and put your face in your little palms.
