Purple............ 😮
Behind the scenes a 4v1, is actually a 3v1 at 89% and if you fail it it consecutively tries another 3v1 right? At least in true random, and it keeps iterating 2v1 and then 1v1 and then fail to take, but the chance to fail are low. Computer just makes it happen all instantly, unless you manual everything. Also at certain blitz levels 99% just becomes 100% right? where you just succeed for sure after a certain roll or something?
Purple's Play ended the game, with them getting second, damn.
If I remember correctly, in balanced blitz the odds are 'stretched' such that 85% chance in true random becomes 100% and 15% becomes 0%. The max you can lose is the amount of troops that are attacking.
True random with a lot of troops is indeed the same as rolling a lot of 3v1s.
a 4v1 is actually a 3v1, since you have to leave a troop behind in the territory you're attacking from. Using 3 attacking dice vs 1 defending die is 89% win probability in true random, which balance blitz dice rounds up to 100%. With balance blitz dice, you will always win against a 1-stack with at least 4 troops in the attacking territory if you commit to the attack and you should never lose more than 2 troops. But you can lose a lot more than 2 troops, which makes no sense, hence people using the slider to fix the error in how they've set up the game. The slider should really only exist for extremely niche situations where you don't want to fully commit to an attack. Say, if you have two territories that can attack an opponent's territory, and you want to use troops from one of the stacks to pick away at your opponent's stack but not win, so that you can finish the attack with the troops from the other territory. But that's rare.
@@wheelinshirt I've seen pete use the slider so he could just throw troops away to reduce a stack without taking it to keep some one locked up or something. It happens and I always find it an interesting technique.
Another quick finish ..😢
top 50 gm got mad he was getting outplayed by a beginner in ranked so he sued into my cap and then botted out. Glad to know scumbags even at the highest rank. GG eLKOHLic LMFAO
It's not a great measure of skill to be top 50. Some people just play a lot on the same settings.
Thank you makes a little sense.
