    "A Republican candidate for Georgia governor brags about his conservative credentials in a new ad released Wednesday, saying he has a “big truck” to “round up criminal illegals.”
    Brian Kemp, the current secretary of state, is fresh off another ad in which he points a double-barreled shotgun at a teenage boy asking to go on a date with one of his daughters. Viewers complained to a local NBC affiliate about the ad, to which Kemp responded that “liberals in the media are losing their minds off a fake controversy.”
    But now Kemp seems to be coming back for more controversy. In his new, and totally-not-compensating-for-anything ad, Kemp shows off his big chainsaw, big collection of big guns, and his big truck.”*

    These politicians have too much money to waste. Too little education to understand. Too little empathy be able to support their constituents effectively.
    Yet still garner way too much support. Strange times.

    Glad to see a conservative politician - though unintentionally - admitting their plans to destroy the budget. I love the lack of awareness to not understand what the common meaning of the phrase "blow up spending" is.

      Con-Serving-Thieves are a con-kniving breed. For them, Illegal Drugs is a Wet Dream --- High Profits, No Taxes. And if they do it RIGHT, the Government eliminates their competition, and then PAYS THEM to incarcerate the competition for a long, long time (at over $30 grand per prisoner per year). Win-Win-Win!
      The Tax-Payer Pays -- not Them. But they tell the flock of sheep, Blame Obama! "Baaaaa'd!" that's what she(ep) said. Hey! It's EweToo(b).

      Tommy Kada you are assuming that laws are static and cannot change, they can put in place a path to citizenship, there is no need for all this bullshit argument that you are proposing, you want them to pay taxes, but, at the same time you don't want them at the table, pick your point and stick with it, all these oxymoronic arguments are stupid. I believe that yes, there should be a path to citizenship, we need those taxpayers after all, and all this bullshit argument about jobs, when you know that you wouldn't ever want to do those jobs to begin with, but, oh how you love it when you go to the market and see that produce at those low prices, but, you don't want the people picking that food to put st your table here. I highly suggest you take a look at HB87 in Georgia, and see how well that turned out, the agricultural economy in Georgia has yet to recover.

    What would count as an "unhealthy" appreciation for the second amendment to these people? Being caught cheating on his daughter with a copy of the second amendment?

    • @dianeshelton9592
      @dianeshelton9592 6 років тому

      Be N S O N there is no healthy appreciation of the second amendment. At this point people should be really looking at the second amendment and looking at what is right for America. An amendment can be amended and at this point really should be to break the cycle of gun related violence and death that is an epidemic in the US. Without the NRA stoking hatred and selling guns with sex it would be possible to have a realistic conversation to help save lives.

    • @scxrl3tk1ng35
      @scxrl3tk1ng35 6 років тому +2

      Thats a regular night for a gun nut reciting the 2nd amendment during sex while holding an above average revolver like a .500 magnum. Actual discussion wont happen with idiots like that running thinking they are right.

    • @dianeshelton9592
      @dianeshelton9592 6 років тому

      Mad King you know what would work is people with opposing views actually talking to one another. At the moment people are shouting at one another from entrenched corners.
      From my point of view , it is so logical to revisit something that is harming the US. I remain hopeful that I and others could help make people who have an automatic reaction to resist anything that smacks of gun control see that there is another way that would be better for them and their children.
      For example there is no reason why anyone needs to own 136 guns, except for the fact that they want them. Putting a cap on the number of guns a person owns could turns the drive to see guns as objects of desire sold by sex to something more practice driven by need. You can still hunt with a few guns 3 or 4 at most. If you know you can only have that many you buy by what is right for your need. Not acquiring more and more guns driven by desire because it was sold to you by a scantily clad woman and it is shiny.
      Other counties have hunting with guns, the hunters enjoy it but their relationship with guns is practical based on their needs not on seeing a gun as a shiny pretty object of desire.
      It should be possible to have that conversation. I hope it happens soon because the NRA and its obsession with increasing profits for gun manufactures at the expense of US lives, especially children is really damaging to the US way of life.

Im sure these idiots racist values were always there but they were not as easily spread around or as open to say whatever the hell they want as today. When you have a president that makes it ok to hate Mexican immigrants (he only talks about Mexico as if we don't have illegal people from other countries) then you get these gun toting, racist that seen Trumps dumbass got elected and so they think if they act like Trump or even more of a conservative lunatic then they will get elected. 🤦 Its scary and its really pathetic that half of our country has normalized this hateful, racist and violent dehumanizing behavior.

    Once I was stopped by either ICE or CBP while on foot and was "asked" to provide proof of my legal status. I showed my driver's license and was told it was not enough. Long story short, the officers weren't happy. I apologized for not being much help to them and excused myself. The situation turned aggressive. What I am about to say probably won't help you in a similar situation, but I had to ask..."am I under arrest? if so, then what for?" Nothing happened afterward. I knew it was racial profiling, but what can I do about that? I don't mind racists remarks, but encouraging lunatics to kidnap people...that is dangerous.

    Carol is right but her point is still misguided. Most of this is a little hyperbolic and a joke. But it does push the dialogue in a certain direction and adds to the hate and potentially the violence when this type of stuff becomes commonplace. If the center of the Republican party likes joking (but only slightly) about rounding up human beings, then the people to the right of their own center will view that as a half decent idea. And those further to the right will have serious discussions about whether or not they want to be literal about it.

    I live in Atlanta and MAN does this guy piss me off! Georgia has an extremely large and diverse refugee community (Clarkston) and I've volunteered with children of immigrants through Clarkston programs and it's hard to hear these kids knowing that this dude doesn't like them, and wants to send them "back" despite most of them being born here. It breaks my heart, no child should be given that impression. I've been watching the debates with my family and the effects this would have on Georgia are scary. I've lived in Georgia my entire life and did not like Nathan Deal at all but to me, he's great compared to this dude. Almost everyone I know thinks this guy is a freak and his deportation bus is awful. Sitting here looking at this candidate is scary...
    I mean this guy drives a "deportation bus" around to campaign. Like he actually does that- not just joked about it.

    Carrying a "Shotgun" around, not hunting, is a "Threat" My 7 year old daughter, left a "Drunk" young man, into my back door, one night, I arrived home, As my wife phoned me, I had weapon, pistol, I Could have shot him, but calmly disarmed him , shells were in his pocket, he mistook, address as next door, Uncle.

    I'm a progressive candidate for Georgia House of Representatives. If TYT wants footage of Michael Williams (deportation bus guy) getting grilled by a sea of people in Whitfield County, I've got plenty. He has no support. We ran him out of Dalton. Deportation bus was broken down up the road from my house in Calhoun so thankfully, he didn't bring it. I spent my birthday screaming at him and flipping him off :)

    I've found out something about myself. I no longer watch or rent movies that I liked so much, Situation type, Not like computer generated, Animated or heavy with special effects. The ones with Family and everyday life. I realized it's like watching something private where I'm not welcome, like the actors will turn to Me and ask " What the Hell"? . You know what? Keep your Crap.

    Really that's gun safety 101. Never ever point your gun at someone or yourself. Even if its unloaded, there might be a bullet in the chamber, okay this is a shoot gun but even still the rule is never point your gun at anything you're not intending to shoot. I'm not even a gun owner and come from a country with very strict gun safety laws.

    My family moved to Alabama from California when I was a Child. Talk about culture shock ! All these years later ( I refuse to say how many years ago that was ) I really can't understand the way of thinking here especially with the older generation. Maybe with time and a better education system the younger Southerners will learn a more open and inclusive attitude. College does wonders for attitude adjustments. Here's hoping the South catches up with reality.

      beatthisroot---- Sadly that's true and the reason so many refuse to give up on Trump. Of course this is the first President to openly endorse the southern ingrained racism. Trump has emboldened these people. It was getting to the point where if one wore his Skinhead attitude on his sleeve he or she stood alone because no one dared flaunt this behavior. ( At least publicly) Now it's Damn near government policy. I expect to hear George Wallace's name being spoken openly and with pride.

    Also. He has every right to do whatever he wants if society backs him up. If he goes and takes illegals from his state and throws them out... who is gonna stop him? You? Doubt it. The people who voted for him? They will cheer him on. The state police? You think they will try to take down their own? Unlikely. Your only hope is the federal government... and with trump in charge he might just give him a presidential pardon... which will in turn move his approval rating even higher.
