You are seriously one of my favorite zombies UA-camrs man, I love this kind of content, just talking about every aspect of zombies and how it can be improved/ your general opinions on it. I also love the hot takes and ranking videos! Keep up the good work man
Love the boss fights but I’m kinda over getting teleported to a random square of circle (or rectangles for you geometry nerds) I personally want a run and gun boss fight like the sky walk on blood of the dead or the Franko side EE where you are running through a narrow area but way longer like a crash bandicoot collapsing walkway level were you have to keep moving and vaulting over obstacles while shooting either a lot of mini final bosses or some long or quick moving boss. Just some kind of unique experience with bonus points if at the end you can explore and fight in that area.
I felt like valentina from MDT was so close to perfection. Just could have done more with the fighting in different areas. Like you said have a stage collapsing while scrambling to get away would have been excellent
@ as someone who honestly think Cw zombies has toilet water amounts of flavor in terms of creative advancements Maurs EE is a hidden gem. In my opinion as someone who did the EE mostly blind I thought we were going to follow Klaus into the Aether and that would be our first physical manifestation of it that didn’t just look like a stranger things black light poster and then Klaus would help us fight valuntina (who would change our of her Crystal groot form into an actual monster) but then it was just over which was a bummer. I think the ladder battery step from forsaken is a good example of what I want a final boss to be. Not necessarily an escort quest but going to a new real life area and being put into an awkward situation you aren’t prepared for. Imagine a final boss fight that is you climbing a fire escape quickly filling up with zombies so cram packed only one can attack you at a time as your also firing at the boss let’s say the forsaken to finish the connection who is above you eyes sewn together pearling down at you as you blast your way closer and closer only to break open the eyes and climb inside like the space whale in revelations and start blasting him in the brain. That feels so zombies to me but as much as I love our current boss fight experiences they are all very raid boss from a mmorpg or are just a soul chest. I just want something freaking nuts that’s what made bo1-bo2 so much fun then bo3 perfected the delivery system and if they ever figured out how to utilize those 2 things at the same time I would never put the game down
Shout out to fusion for using the “danger closest” gobblegum for the DE bossfight. It’s stupid broken against the panzers and makes the fight 10x easier
Frozen dawn boss fight has a good balance imo its hard (if done legit) and it actually forces you to use the melee weapons which i consider extremely important in any 4 wonder weapon map
I saw people getting mad when Treyarch nerfed the drill for the guardian. Boss fights should never be easily cheesable The fact you can defeat mech Nikolai in less than 30 sec with idle eyes is just insane to me.
That's why I followed that up with saying the boss should be harder by default. The timer shouldn't be the thing making a boss hard. But I would be okay with the boss getting harder the longer you take or something.
I agree on the intensity and it was relevant to the context of the fight in the moment, the warheads were gonna explode. Some fights need to be relevant to the narrative they’re telling.
This might be a hot take but my favorite boss is der stürmkrieger from tfr. Easy, interactive and with a good story. I like hard bosses, but only when the easter egg is short (with optimization). If I do a 2,5 hour ee, I don’t wanna get instakilled by a boss and restart all of that.
Treyarch had it perfect with both boss fights, DE & CDM, that you use the wonder weapons in the fight, DE sort of used them as they did better than most. CDM did nothing in the boss fight apart from parry which meant the quests for wonder weapons didn’t mean anything
@@TheOriginalBoris I mean mechanically, Light Sword is REALLY good for the Boss Fight, whether it's for damage or not, due to the Armor refilling and revive thing
I feel like we don't need a boss fight every EE... especially when it feels like they simply added in the boss without any story connotations at all. Don't get me wrong, im not complaining that we're getting boss fights, just that if it even makes sense to fit into the map. Also a boss fight every single EE would ware out the charm of boss fights, eventually they're going to get to a point where every boss mechanic has been mechanically done already.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I will keep making as much content as I can!

BRO I WAS JUST THINKING THIS TODAY. yes I want this back. Something about the chase

11:36 I see this as a hot take because it makes the boss feel more intense. If they took away the timer, it would be too easy, that’s the point
That's why I followed that up with saying the boss should be harder by default. The timer shouldn't be the thing making a boss hard.

@ yeah, I watched then, my bad

Great advice, hopefully in the future we will fr have more boss fight in one map. That would be crazy
I love the bo6 boss fights

The swords are pretty good in the Boss Fight though
@ now they are but not the start. I’m not on about damage only, mechanics should use the wonder weapons in the boss fights
