In my opinion the most re-listenable album ever. I never get bored of songs like Brown Sugar, Can't You Hear Me Knocking and Sway. An absolute classic. A 10/10 definitely.
Heerad Kermani No i'm not. Brian and Mick both played only two songs on Let it Bleed. Brian playing congas in Midnight Rambler and Autoharp in You Got the Silver. Mick playing slide in Country Honk and electric guitar in Live with Me.
this is so funny! i love the intro and throw back living room! down to the last detail, even the books on auntie vinyl's table stand lol I'm late but better late than never!
So the Lou Reed song, walk on the wild side talks about 4 people. The person on the cover of Sticky Fingers is rumoured to be person no. 2 or 3 of that song 😀
I've still got my vinyl copy from bk in the day. Zipper and all. A classic indeed! The M.Taylor years are my favorite period. For my money the Stones were The hottest band in the land on stage 69' thru 72'. Just my opinion....
That One Voice Actor oh cool , I recently got a very used and tattered 1971 copy with zipper but the buckle is ripped off and the original sleeve is not there. the vinyl record is in mediocre condition. it played pretty well. I paid only 3 dollars because I was buying few other records from my local store. it was the only one left and I'm happy it sounds good
@vinylrewind love the concept but The first LP album to be released on Rolling Stones Records was Brian Jones Presents the Pipes of Pan at Joujouka catalog # COC 49100 in 1971, which is widely credited with being the first world music LP. Brown Sugar was their first 45 release Cat # Sugar 1 B/w Bitch & Let it Rock April 16, 1971. 11 days before Sticky Fingers was released on April 27 1971 cat# COC 59100
What I heard was that the model on the cover is Joe Dellasandro who acted in Andy Warhol's films, i.e. "Trash", "Frankenstein 3D" and others. I believe he was very well endowed, but couldn't act worth crap.
Really? I'd think with it being so different and having such triply a cover (Whoa, a whole new dimension) It'd be relatively common, but I guess it is one of the bands more forgotten albums.
Joey Dallesandro, a Warhol actor, of course, was the model for this groovy double posterization. Stick to reviewing the albums and good help us with yer friends yuks.
I want the zip cover of rolling stones just the cover... The reason is its Andy Warhol design..I am a huge fan of Andy Warhol. anyone pls. send me a message. I just want the cover. :)
MIC2-MusicImage2Critic By: ZyeZhe the zipper cover is actually pretty common, I think it's even been recreated as a CD, but if you look through the listings, you should be able to find a zipper cover no problem
In my opinion the most re-listenable album ever. I never get bored of songs like Brown Sugar, Can't You Hear Me Knocking and Sway. An absolute classic. A 10/10 definitely.
I like how this is presented like a real vintage talk show/sketch show
thanks
Awesome, thank you for saying so!
Not the first Rolling Stones LP with Mick Taylor. He played guitar on some songs on Let it Bleed too.
Only two songs.
Pantherace Nope, you’re confused Brian Jones with Mick Taylor. Brian Jones only played 2 songs on Let it Bleed
Heerad Kermani No i'm not. Brian and Mick both played only two songs on Let it Bleed. Brian playing congas in Midnight Rambler and Autoharp in You Got the Silver. Mick playing slide in Country Honk and electric guitar in Live with Me.
First full record Mick Taylor played on was 1970's live album "Get Your Ya-Yas Out"
Dude, this is the first full Mick Taylor content
man you guys are to good for UA-cam should have your own show on MTV!
thank you
ha ha, mtv? uh, is that a dis...lol...whatever, keep it up, and maybe change the title instead of "Review", it should be "Various Trivia"
You guys are too good for MTV, way better that you have a show on UA-cam rather than a dying medium
@@808Bloomer nothing is perfect mister Billboard musician
Vinyl Geek does it way better as a solo act. The show has definitely improved since this.
this is so funny! i love the intro and throw back living room! down to the last detail, even the books on auntie vinyl's table stand lol

I bet it was iggy pop on the album cover. I've watched to many rock documentaries and I've seen his one eyed snake to many times.
I've still got my vinyl copy from bk in the day. Zipper and all. A classic indeed! The M.Taylor years are my favorite period. For my money the Stones were The hottest band in the land on stage 69' thru 72'. Just my opinion....
One of my favourite lps from the stones
Cool, there was a Johnny Thunders - in cold blood mini Lp on the beginning when you walk into the shop !! thats one of my favourite album covers !!
Remember this cover when I was kid by Dad had it. Loved the zip.
Exile on main street
finally got my hands on a repressing with a working zipper with a bonus vinyl off unreleased material and I am pleased as punch to say the least
That One Voice Actor oh cool , I recently got a very used and tattered 1971 copy with zipper but the buckle is ripped off and the original sleeve is not there. the vinyl record is in mediocre condition. it played pretty well. @vinylrewind love the concept but

Aha! Is that No Dice by Badfinger I see on your wall at 1:26??
"It was 400 hundred and full of history.............like me........."
I'm gonna use that.
Love sticky fingers

Lill Joe was fairly well hung but that crotch sure does look like Iggy Pop's to me.
Great reviews. Please do Exile if you haven't done it already, thanks!
My Mount Rushmore of
Rolling Stones LPs
Let It Bleed
Beggars Banquet
Sticky Fingers
Flowers
You forgot Exile
Excelente 👏
something something JoJo reference
Brilliant.
Joe Dallesandro was the model for the cover.
Also, I wanna know, who played Miz Mel on the intro? ;)
i think Warhol actor Joe Dallesandro posed for the cover
ZIPPER MAN!!!!
so, do you review the album or just do everything else but, review the album?
Joe Dallesandro is the cover star.
Have the new deluxe edition with the Spanish cover, also what happened to Aunty vinyl?
She went on an extended cruise
Only 10,000 views! What is that all about?
hy the sticky fingers standard version on lp 2015 reissue have real zip? Thanks
I believe it's only the deluxe edition
Vinyl Rewind ok thanks how much costs? Thanks
What will be the next Rolling Stones review?
Don't know yet
Odd, the British LP still had the embedded zipper as late as 1994
kool jacket
Dick Hyman...
You need to do more Stones to catch up with the Beatles videos. Maybe Their Satanic Majesties Request!
Gideon Nightingale You are absolutely right! Funny enough, no one has requested that album
Really? I'd think with it being so different and having such triply a cover (Whoa, a whole new dimension) It'd be relatively common, but I guess it is one of the bands more forgotten albums.
Gideon Nightingale I think it's because it's considered a cash in album, or fake psychedelia, so it's not a revered as other classics.
Do you prefer sticky fingers over exile of main street?
Oh, that's a tough call, Exile is fantastic, but Sticky has Wild Horses, one of my favorite songs of all time
Yes. I find exile extremely overrated. Too much filler.
Joey Dallesandro, a Warhol actor, of course, was the model for this groovy double posterization. Stick to reviewing the albums
and good help us with yer friends yuks.
Goats Head Soup is better. Still an absolute gem of an album
0:49
Is that you, Morrissey...?
No loving the new show format. thought it was spot on as it was.
sway is the best track
Nah man. Dead Flowers!
I want the zip cover of rolling stones just the cover... The reason is its Andy Warhol design..I am a huge fan of Andy Warhol. anyone pls. send me a message. I just want the cover. :)
MIC2-MusicImage2Critic By: ZyeZhe try here www.discogs.com/sell/list?master_id=23828&ev=mb&format=Vinyl or ebay
Vinyl Rewind thank u so much :) is it the same cover from remastered? or just plain picture?
MIC2-MusicImage2Critic By: ZyeZhe the zipper cover is actually pretty common, I think it's even been recreated as a CD, but if you look through the listings, you should be able to find a zipper cover no problem
thank u so much. I'll just go buy it on amazon. I thought the zipper one is rare. thanks for the information. I just love andy warhol :) thanks
The remastered version has the zipper, plus an extra bonus track record. Both records even come in snazzy sleeves.
Do I really want to watch a video where The Vinyl Geek pops his collar exposing his sexy chest because the answer's yes.
fantastic vinyl.. = i have EP -vinyl russian - ROLLING STONES. = alex. ukraine.
What a stupid intro
am I the only one who found wild horses to be boring? I much prefer sway and I got the blues
What was this ?? If you don' have something to say , make not a Video about nothing !!
