I saw glimpses of the tv show on netflix but.. I just can't watch it, this is the only version I love more than anything and I'll never betray it. Nobody can do better XD
That's how I view it to. I love the original 1950's ones. The only thing that doesn't seem as bad is the 2009 one. But the new run-on show "empress" and the newer version of this story doesn't beat the original. It's just so wonderfully portrayed by the actors with authenticity. I just feel like the news ones instead of actually finding good characters/look alike to convey this story and the actual plot. It was more of a spicier/sensual story of them. It's just more sex but looks so bland

wow - i had no idea there was an older trilogy!! i just watched the german netflix 'the empress' show with these characters! I definitely will be watching these now though, so I can have some happy ending hahaha
I'm the opposite to you on that one! I've only seen this version and no other. Just look for Sissi, I believe this trilogy was made in the 1950s, such a peak for old fashioned romance! Definitely recommend the films!
@@i.x.r.x1057 aber doch nie in solchen Farben u keine Lippenstifte , man verwendete pulver od creme von der Purpurmuschel etc, manche waren auch giftig, schon im alten ROM war es so... Das da auf den Fotos ist das typische Nach Colorieren /heute Fotoshop! der 50/60 er Jahre!
