It'll be really interesting to hear your opinion on the clubs and the effect on scores after the switch to the single length irons. Good luck, hope the transition goes well!
I just got a set of the Edels and would love to here a follow up about how they are working out for you. I also went with a set of 40 inch hybrids; the Adams Reds hybrids from a few years back and adjusted the weights feel the same. So now i have a driver the hybrids, the 37.5 Edels an two wedges. Not too many swings to practice.
Are you still gaming the Edels? I'm thinking of switching from STerlings to Edels. But I keep hearing about how the heads are 'really small' and its making me nervous.
@@per_growth yes, the edels are still in play. they are about ¼ shorter, heel to toe. If you use the last ½ inch of the toe then it might be an issue. The sweet spot isn't smaller, as far as i can tell. look on eBay for a used set, deals are to be found on edels if you are patient
The Edel long irons are a better at cost/benefit ratio than the Edel short irons (i sold the 8-pw.) The hollow head design performs beautifully on the longer distances, but seem like overkill on the short irons.
Hi Simon, would like to hear an update on the Edel irons, how they perform out on the course, and ultimately can they make you more consistent? Thanks Martyn.
+Jacob Bauer Hi Jacob, the charge in the UK is around £50 I believe. If you want to send us an email to pgalife365@gmail.com we can find your nearest fitter.
Yes Paul, it would be nice. Unfortunately the deal that Edel offered me for a set was a bit too steep for my budget, for what is essentially a test. Thanks for the comment, hope you are enjoying our content?
I have been looking into edel as my friend has a complete One Length set. I tested a 7 and the club felt great, very close to how my Mizuno M25 feels. The edel heads are very small, (like -5 player only small) the shafts feel stiff/low torque like and yet very lively, I believe the shafts are the best part of the club. Yes, the clubs are very expensive.

Looks great. I currently use the Cobra SL irons and I love them. Really good concept.

I did drop the hybrid set up.

@@AL-og4sp you sold them because the hollow heads don't work on the short irons?
I will be interested in seeing the finished clubs they look good.

Hi Martimanize,
No update at the moment but watch this space.....
Have you tried other SL irons out there? How do Edels compare to Sterlings or Cobras?
I'm going our next week to Austin to try them out and compare with the Cobra f8.
You will have a great time, and thanks for commenting at midnight NYE UK time!!
I feel like a kid waiting in Christmas. Any questions I should ask the fitter? And what's your take in the amount of bounce on the irons?
What would it cost to do the fitting?

@@Paul-TBMAG Can you expound on the 'heads are very small like -5 player only small" input? You mean it feels like only a -5 player can hit it?
@@per_growth Yes.. The heads were not as for giving as others , so you'll need a higher level of ball striking skill.
