    I used this on my colored hair (natural lv 3, colored to a 4 w/ a few highlights) with 40 vol and olaplex. It brought me right up to a lv 10 with only a little yellow. I toned with redken shades eq 9v. It came out a gorgeous pearly platinum!

    Dark colored hair dyed hair is waaaay harder to lift than naturally dark hair. That's a struggle even for skilled hair colorists. Moral of the story? Never dye your hair black. :)

      Can u give me details that worked for u? I am about to try this on my husband's hair and he is asian and a natural 3 or 4 with box dye on top, to cover the grey. He wants frosted tips platinum. What volume developer did you use? For how long did she process? Did she require heat?

    Wish I had discovered this a long time ago. My hair was destroyed, but this stuff lifts my roots, leaving all my hair soft and shinny with NO breakage AT ALL. If you have naturally dark hair, but are addicted to platinum, Blondme is the drug! But don't drink it.
    BRAVO MR Schwarzkopf! Thank you!!!

    So Pretty, and professionally done! Thanks for showing how to do the bangs and front baby hairs LAST!! I went to a "color expert" salon to get root touch-ups, and at the beginning of the bleaching process before she even started on the rest of my head, she took a big saturated swipe of bleach around my front hair line, instead of sectioning that area at all. After several visits, my bangs were dissolved underneath my scalp. Then bleach kept getting into the pore, and they couldn't grow back for several months. Treat the bangs and baby hair like glass, with kid gloves, and do them very last!

    hi everybody. just a quick question, this this only work on bleached hair? can i add this to my peroxide and bleach mix or is that a no?

    • @rpschan
      @rpschan 7 років тому +5

      Leyla Gungor yes and no! Schwarzkopf has 2 types of "toner" the first is a toner you mix with 7% peroxide to tone the hair after the bleach. The second one is a brightening cream with color (sand, ice, or metallic) that you can actually mix on your bleach. But the one she used on the video you cannot do that!

    my hair was black and i bleached it with 40 volume developer twice.
    then waited a month using john fredia total repair conditoner. and bleached it again with 40 volume. then used an ash blonde toner to remove any brassy pigments then put blue on. my hair isnt broken or anything... but then again i did use extreme conditioning treatments.

    You can do it 2times ... Me i bleach my hair like 2-3times but not time after time (Bad english D:) But seriously ! Don't bleach you're hair ... I try with black hair and it turn orange yellow ! And after that you do a blonde dye but with grey tones ! and a toner but all that thing Damaged your hair so much :(
    You can do just a dye and after 1week you can do it again and it not very damage you're hair :) But serioously at 0:14 i think this color is very better than the very blonde at the end !

  • @sanelkiela
    @sanelkiela 12 років тому

    But to really cancel any yellow orange sh*, just mix it 50/50. 6% developer.
    I have a nightmare of red pigment in my hair, and it just bleaches the hell out of it, without frying it. Expensive, but i have it for a year now, color every month.. so i think it´s worth it. With the Loreal platinium developer it´s great, but i´ll try with the Blondme now, just out of curiosity.

    I have to tell you that it works even on dark hair with super lots of red pigment. Just bleaching, without the toning, leaves you with a "Playboy" blonde. It´s really not canary at all. It leaves such a pale yellow, that you can just use a violet shampoo or a conditioner to take it to cool. I do it with 6% developer and it´s enough, really. But i really do wait for 40 minutes, don´t go under. I LOVE IT.

  • @anoziraflaminghot

    my hair isn't dyed dark brown, it's naturally dark. and i know i'm supposed to bleach it a few times with time in between each bleach job. it's a struggle because it takes so long. i wish i could just do it once and that's it :P i always have to do it two to three times to get it to a yellow colour. and yea i always get the bleach from sallys. and i don't need to tone it, i bleach my hair so i can colour my hair blue, purple, green, etc.

  • @anoziraflaminghot
    @anoziraflaminghot 12 років тому

    that's the exact same reason i go blonde :P (to colour it crazy colours). i have successfully got my hair a pretty fuchsia colour but it took FOREVER to get my hair blonde. and i have to constantly use a deep conditioner because of how damaged my hair got :( i wish there was some other way to get your hair blonde without using bleach. i know there's high lifters and stuff but they probably still damage your hair :/

      Just apply a hair color remover. Don't color or bleach over hair that is already colored. After removing the existing color hair dye out of your hair, then do what you wanted to do. You can find these at any beauty supply store.

      Brigitte Lalonde you need to be a very light blonde already for ice to work well. It only cancels pale yellow tones. It won't make you blue. But it won't do much unless you're light enough
