This stuff worked awesome on my jet black asian hair. Root touch up was the most powerful and best results then any another product. Took it from jet black to white bonde in 1 session. No damage used the 30 mix with same brand blondeme solution. Then toner.

My brother has DARK BLOND ( Level 7 ) hair that Lightens with difficulty because the Melanin Granules are LARGE and once the peroxide lightens the pigments they resist further penetration so you have a shell of yellow pigment with a reddish center ( Yellow + Red = Orange ) using a lower volume developer and longer contact time helps to break through this barrier and lighten more.

Absolutely LOVE your info on the blondme!!! I have been using it, well my stylist/sister has been using it for highlighting my hair for years now, but ever since they came out with the new formula (2014? 2015?) I started noticing my foils leaking water! And she's a professional, been doing hair for 20 years, and she normally uses the 30vol and 40vol for me because I've got really THICK and coarse, basically Asian hair, and it will NEVER lift (in one session) to lighter than a level 8 unless it starts really breaking the integrity of my hair. And I'm talking about 1-2 inch ROOTS on highlights, so it's not even a full head of hair that needs to be lightened. Anyways, I kept going online to maybe find a reddit or someone, ANYONE who has had this happen with them, and I don't just mean the swelling, I'm talking about straight WATER liquid leaking from the foils, and I guess, liquifying? Then I even made her try a different bleach altogether one time, because I was just so frustrated with the results, and the other bleaches are nowhere near as powerful, OR as conditioning as the Blondme is, so ever since I found your video about using a lower volume, I've been doing my own highlights with the 20vol... which has NO leaking whatsoever, but I take a long time to foil even just one babylight, so it takes me an hour to finish just a face frame hahaha, the joys of learning... anyways, just wanted to say, I learned so much from your tips just now, ESPECIALLY the mixing small amounts... which for a beginner like myself will have to be probably 15 grams of lightener at a time... Was really curious, the results in your video showed a level 2 lifting to was that a pale yellow? first session? AMAZING!!! Also with the blondme 9 level lift powder, schwartzkopf said in a seminar not to use the 40 with it.. have you had any instances while using the 30 or 40 where the lightener just liquified in the foil? and spilled out looking like water (clear) but drying like a fine film of powder? and to where it didn't lift in the foil at all, just leaked out the sides? Or is this JUST ME LOL... I swear, I don't ever want to use a different bleach, but I need to study this one and I'm just so grateful for your videos!!

      OH My Goodness!! )
Your message is the whole reason I do my work on this channel. Your message touches my ♥️.
I really appreciate you reaching out.
      1. I never use Blondme with 40 vol. never.
So let’s talk about the water Liquefying bleach in foils. Let me ask you. Are you getting the lightener from a distributioner ? WWith diversion They can change the product. Do you have well water 💦? The minerals in our waters can have chemical reactions with Blondme. I would suggest getting some Malibu C treatment. If you put that on your hair before you highlighted it will remove any minerals that might be on your hair. It will also help to have your hair lighten more effectively.
2.For my darker haired clients. Most of the time I do have to do two sessions to get them that light. The girl that’s in the picture that’s closest to me. She had old highlights on some of her ends. I was able to lift her to a level 8. The girl with the very blonde hair had previous highlights. Their lift is really dependent upon the persons natural melanin. So sometimes yes I can. “But and this is a big but”. The Hair 💇🏼‍♀️drives the bus and it won’t go that far.🚗.
      3. Yes I use 30 vol on Asian hair. I really think of Malibu C. treatment will help you
I will be making another video five things I want to do with blood me that’ll come out later.

@@thecuriousstylist8531 Oh wow that you for such a detailed response!!!
      Ok so
      1) Yes my sister has used it on me in the salon, and at home, and she's a licensed pro, been for nearly 20 years.. I kept thinking the first time it happened, that it was a bad batch or something, but the next ones she bought, and the one after, they've all been from CosmoProf or Salon Centric. The liquifying leakage thing only happens with the 40, so I'm thinking that is where we went wrong, because it's always the last sections that get the 40 because we would try to get the same lift as the fist sections... but the 30 vol foils don't leak water, they just swell and then leave little bleeds or leaks only if we've done a full head foil highlights (i have so much hair, there's not enough room for packing all those foils on my head at the same time.
      2) I live in the Los angels area, so def not well water, and I'm pretty sure it IS hard water, or whatever, because a few months back I looked into what issues could be causing this with only MY hair, and not more people? So I read about the hard water, buildup, minerals, etc. and started doing the Malibu C, and it really works, OMG the smell of metal when that stuff is in my hair.. whew so strong!! And if makes my hair feel super good after, but yeah I did that before the last time I'll ever try a 40 vol foil again, and it still didn't work, it still started dripping water, and ONLY from the 4 foils that were with 40..
      3) OMG ok yeah her, your client with the already blonde ends, that's like me, but on the regrowth, it really lifts to a level 8 sometimes on a lighter 8, but usually a second session can lift it to a 9 or light 9 before it gets too gummy. I'm just super excited to get the 7 volume! I

30 vol off scalp and by the time I get back to the first section and then I’ll add 20 volume to dbl process. In the spots that need that angry orange out! Then I come back with 20 for resaturation. Then rinse wash out bleach but should I tone shampoo when washing out bleach. And before that amazing toner color I have to go back to my roots to get the blend. It’s a 3 week process for me. 🥵

I know you want to be a level 9 blonde we all do but if you have level 2 Latina black it just isn't worth it because you have to go from 2 all the way to 9 and that's usually double bleach and not on the same day. You may get away with it if you have virgin but if you've been dying grey hair with perm forget it because there are so many layers of perm in it. Not to mention if you have grey on black and want to be a 9 blonde that maintenance at the root is going to be a killer because you're going to have to bleach the root and risk touching the already double bleached blonde which can break off. You're going to be doing roots at least once a month if you want it to look good. By that time the blonde is oxidised looking brassy / orange/ So at that point you gotta tone again and if it's really bad bleach wash, then tone. We are talking about high high maintenance and hours in the salon every month. A grow out looks different on white girls because they are naturally a mousy brown some are already at a 7 so all they gotta do is bump up 3 levels and poof they are platinum. The longer you wait after 4 weeks to go to the salon the worse it looks with black roots and brassy hair. I honestly don't think it's worth it long term. Okay if you want to do it for a special occasion and look different but be prepared to drop $850 on your final product after multiple visits to achieve the blonde. A more realistic is having a brown / caramel. Blonde is going to make your hair crunchy no matter how expensive products you buy. No matter if you go in for weekly treatments. The normal hair styling, blow drying, and then maintenance is just going to fry that hair. It won't look healthy shinny as if you just left it black and died your grey with a deposit level 4N 10 volume. It will be glossy if you keep it natural. Long story short you have to have the orange undertones because it's part of having dark hair. If you don't want to see them you have to blast the heck out of your hair and strip all color. Then deposit color in it. However taking latina black to nearly white is hair destruction obliteration not for hispanics. Sorry to break it down. Living with the orange and then doing bleach washes & toner at the salon plus a hard water filter, special shampoos, special styling tools and products may extend without the brass but brass is gonna happen. It's part of the high maintenance of being a blonde when you're not. If anyone disagrees feel free to chime in. Best of luck girls.

Would you recommend diluting developer with the shampoo? Let's say 1 part 30vol developer, 1 part shampoo to get 15vol.
I still have a full bottle of developer, it will expire before I'll get a chance to even use half of it.
Could you mix Igora Royal Oil Developer with Blondme bleach?

    • @thecuriousstylist8531
      @thecuriousstylist8531  3 роки тому +5

Hello thank you for your questions. I answer
      1. No I wouldn’t recommend diluting shampoo and developer to make 30vol to make 15 vol. I would recommend 20 and 10 to make 15vol. Or 30 and 6 to make 18 vol. but shampoo will make it runny
      2. Store the bottle upside down this will help the peroxide to stay fresh after one year and half I would toss it.
3.I would not recommend royal developer with Blondme powder. It will not be the “right” consistency.

What about using blondme on previously dyed long curly hair to do just some highlights around my face as my gray is coming in much faster ,im hair color natural 2-3, dyed 2-3, and curl pattern is 2-3 ,with gray roots coming in looking like almost 75% gray now and length is down to my waist above my hips but not all one length it's MANY MANY lengths .
I am a mix of Caucasian and some native American, my hair when bleached turns the worst color of copper, orange ,I never get it to bleach to yellow ...
If I use 7% developer will that work for me using the blondme bleach n dev.
I have damaged hair ,but only wash 1 time a week to a week n a half n use leave in ,oil, chi ,grape seed , and use pureology hydrate shampoo n con.
Sorry this is so long ,just trying to give you an idea on what my hair is like ,..
Any recommendations or suggestions are very welcome n appreciated .

No it’s not a bad thing to shampoo your hair 24 hours before a service. For the best blondes clarifying shampoo will remove all the buildup off the hair. This creates a cleaner canvas to work on.
