Yes it does, unfortunately they haven't got the talent Andor has to carry an episode like this. Let's face it Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno are the only interesting characters here. As soon as Thrawn mentioned betraying Baylon that was it for me.
Ahsoka was "just" Sabine's master. She was never part of her chosen family. That was the Rebel's crew. So Sabine always had her priorities, and she never hid her motivations.
Someone commented that the Pergill going through hyperspace may have been seen by Grogu and that's maybe why he was fascinated by them... he may have felt Ahsoka's presence. Also, notice how much Ezra looks like his father!
Glad to see you were excited for Wes Chatham in this episode! I love the character design. Really unique. At first it was a bit hard to tell that he was playing/ voicing him, but I thought it became really clear in that conversation with Thrawn. The cadence and screen presence was 100% Wes Chatham. I was like yep, Wes is definitely playing... That Guy.
I couldn’t disagree more, at least on one hand. Last week was a nostalgia dream, this was a dream in a whole different light. One’s looking to the past, the other, the future. 🙂
Is it just me or are the Noti (the little aliens Ezra befriended) are basically space tortoise hobbits? 😁😁 Also, my guess is that Sabine will tell Ezra what happened. She just wanted to have a moment to be able to be happy that she managed to finally find him after all this time.
Ezra gave his lightsaber to Sabine at the end of Rebels. Will be interesting if she gives it back to him? She did alter it according to Huyang. Ezra would surely do a better job with it than Sabine.
I'm interested in the fact that the night sisters in a galaxy far, far away still recognize the stench of Jedi. I think it's been talked about before that they had tamed purgill before ships with hyper drives. What if there are Jedi in this galaxy too?
It’s interesting that the Nightsisters detected Jedi from Sabine, even with no Force abilities. Those new Night Troopers remind me of Spartan soldiers. Wondering if they have some influence of Nightsisters magic, like Marrok.
The moment the Night Troopers appeared on screen, I felt a great surge in the Force, as if hundreds of 501st members suddenly cried out in ecstacy and their costuming budgets were suddenly vaporized. Shawna and her costuming crew are absoluteley killing it on this series! Angela or anyone else from this community planning to be at Disneyland for Life Day in November? Would love to meet some folks!
Maybe there's a deeper lessen here about cuteness. Some of the creatures we thought were ugly. The once we got to know them they turned cute, like the rat dog thing. Maybe, that is all that it takes for us to start liking something, getting to know them better. What is cuteness, but familiarity? Like even if someone had a pet Alien, they would grow to think of it as cute. Namaste. The God within me recognizes the God within you.
At the end of Rebels, Ezra gave his Lightsabre to Choppa, to hand it over to Sabine in the end. Huyang also commented on that in episode 2, that she still has Ezras lightsabre, made modifications to it and made it her own.
Ezra gave Sabine his lightsaber at the end of ‘Rebels’, but she’s made some changes to it when she was Ahsoka’s apprentice the first time. Huyang even mentioned that when Sabine was recovering from being stabbed by Shin.
After 30 years, the Heir to the Empire himself has been seen on screen in the flesh. It honestly is so surreal to me as someone who’s read both the HTTE trilogy, as well as Zahn’s canon novels (which are arguably even better than HTTE imo). That was one of the coldest entrances I’ve EVER seen in Star Wars 🔥🔥🔥. Even for those that haven’t watched Rebels or read the novels, I think this episode did a good job at starting to solidify not only why he is feared, but also how different he is from most Star Wars villains
Thrawn's motivation in his books is actually a quite noble one, to assemble a fighting force strong enough to protect his people, the Chiss, from outside threats.
Fun fact I learned today: The cinematography for episodes 2, 3 and 5 was done by Quyen Tran, who is married to Sam Riegel who plays Scanlan Shorthalt in The Legend of Vox Machina.
If Sabine reeks of Jedi, that must mean she has a Force imprint... which means she SHOULD be able to use it. 🥰 Love the insult toward Thrawn "You wouldn't understand" to a person who seeks to understand everyone. Hope we get to see Wes Chathum's face as Enoch, why hire him and not show his face. Though it might a bit of a zombified face, because I suspect the night sisters are animating some of those troopers like Marrok. And I wonder if all those containers are bodies. An army of dead soldiers. Reminds me there is a Star Wars novel where a Star Destroyer like Thrawn's is derelict in space and all the imperials including Storm Troopers are infected with something that turns them into basically zombies. Storm Trooper Zombies... we might get them in live. o.O Edit: also this other Galaxy would be a great place to put some of the old legends stories that don't fit in the original galaxy anymore.
_“[The Force] is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together.”_ Therefore, just as Force-sensitive people can sense other Force-sensitive people, and distinguish between the Dark and Light Side, I suspect the particular discipline one uses to connect with the Force is a two-way street. Meaning, it affects you, but you also affect it. (“You can’t take the Razorback!” While we may think the implication is about morals, I think the finer truth concerns the resonance within the energy field. Different Force disciplines resonate distinctly. And while that’s usually indicative of a person’s morals, the reality is we know of Jedi who betrayed the Order and (in Legends) Sith who rejected their creeds. And one great Sith who was able to walk undetected among the greatest of Jedi. So, I suspect mastery of this resonance - a rare and difficult skill - is what helped Palpy stay hidden. And since Nightsisters are more given to a raw (if exploitative) connection to the Force, it would follow they are better at detecting particular resonant “frequencies”. What is more interesting is they seemed to have no objection the Baylan Skoll’s, uh, aura. Thus far he seems to move and function like a Jedi (no Sith powers used), so I wonder what he’s done and why his presence did not offend. What discipline does one follow to be a wielder of a blood orange saber? What have you been up to, General Tall Dark and Handsome?
Now that I know that the main Night Sister mother lady is Claudia Black, I can't unhear it in her voice. Also...I really want a moment where Enoch takes off his helmet and is like, "I AM that guy."
Yes, it's Ezra's light saber. I agree about Sabine. I don't blame Sabine either. It's really interesting how she is a loose thread, and reeks of the Jedi. I can't wait for her to bust out with the force. I also think it's cool when you pointed out that the night sisters could not sense her, which protected her. I mean we were all scratching out heads at the reveal that she is force sensitive-ish... So I'm intrigued and excited about some of the fated aspects of Sabine, how "for Sabine it was her only choice" to give into Baylan. (Baylan would have taken her out if she tried to destroy it or run with it.) Dave Filoni is cooking up something really cool for Sabine and I can't wait to find out. Her best episode so far. I love her moment with the Noti. It felt very like a Princess Leia/ Ewok moment. And don't the Noti look like crab hobbits, with their little outfits?😂 It might be too much to expect an Ezrabine storyline, but I can hope. Come-on, Dave. You've given us lots of fan service moments. Give us this!
The casting for Ezra works really well. Sabine finding him reminds me of Zuko getting chewed out by Iroh though: "You had him! And then what? You never think this through." -"I would have thought of something" "No you wouldnt!"
Watching the recap at the beginning, I love how the ancient stones resemble (and might even be a nod to) something from the Halo video game franchise, which in turn has had many nods to Star Wars over the years.
Loved this episode...so awesome to finally see a live-action Thrawn...and those troopers, esp Enoch... My first thought when it was mentioned the whales went there to die was the big one Ahsoka hitched a ride in. And when Baylon told Sabine she would be reunited with Ezra to me could be taken several ways - he had no way to know if he was alive or not but it still stood. To get back to their galaxy all they need is the co-ordinates for the jump, which is what they needed the map for to get to Thrawn, once they had those all they needed to do was jump. Gutted though the series will be over soon and hope they make more seasons - Ahsoka is one of my favourite characters, Rosario is killing it in the role!
Fun Fact: Baylyn Skoll and Shin Hati are named after the offspring of Fenrir, the great wolf of Norse mythology. Skoll and Hati are supposed to devour the sun and moon. The three witches are named after the Greek Fates. Thrawn has clearly been fighting something powerful on that world. It sounds like Baylan is hunting for it like Morgan hunted for Thrawn.
You need to rewatch Thrawn's entrance a couple more times. The first time it's just so overwhelming to just have Thrawn back that you miss how epic his very first sentence is. It's... just... goddamn. Talk about an opening line!
The 3 Night sister Great Mothers are basically the Fates from Greek mythology, and looking at their names Filoni is copying that. Clotho (Klothos in the show) is the youngest and the spinner of the thread of life. Lachesis (Lakesis in the show) is the middle aspect who measures the thread of life. Atropos (Aktropaw) is the eldest and cuts the thread of life. Also how they keeping referencing the threads and seeing the future is straight from the mythology! Pure awesomeness!
The digital effects in this episode are superior (with the exception of some backgrounds). But really a high level for these series. And the actor who plays Thrawn was also downright terrifying in the BBC Sherlock series. Something about Lars Mikkelsen AND his brother Mads...they can both be so darned intimidating.
Jennifer Getzinger NEEDS to get her own star wars series, Filonis writing almost let her doen newr thr end but the way she MASTERFULLY navigated the terror of this new unknown universe &the impemding doom that is thrawn was just epic &chilling
....I certainly never would have even dreamed to see Thrawn in live action when I first fell in love with his character in the 90's. Jedi Fairy Tales about a distant galaxy ... of course Filoni gives us Tennant saying *THE* line 😍 Whilst not Sith, Night Sister Magicks draws from the dark side. I'm guessing this galaxy had some ancient history that informs the Great Mother's response to Sabine .... The ISD Chimera and the Stormtroopers all being both repaired and blended to fit in with the Night Sister culture ... a great visual representation of Thrawn's lack of resources and need to make an alliance for survival this past decade or so. And Ezra! Not sure I can say much that you haven't already said - is it next week yet?
At the beginning... I was fanboying hard and was ready to pop some popcorn and grab a blanket for "Storytime with Huyang." I could see a series around that. I'm enjoying more detail regarding the Dathomirian Witches and their ways of connecting with the Living/Cosmic Force and all that is getting special attention. I totally love how, with one word or phrase, Filoni can alter the entire Star Wars canon (Bokken Jedi.) Wow. All the wolf-like visuals... all Filoni. But Thrawn... one can tell that Lars is having an absolute blast playing this character in live action. It's just too cool for school to finally see him. Enoch reminds me of a character from Fallout: New Vegas. Legate Lanius. Kudos to the practical effects team, they are so talented. Ezra looks like his dad from the photo from Rebels. Last bit, a prediction... Thrawn wants to know all about Ahsoka including who her master was... tie in to Zahn's novel "Alliances." And... did you catch the "catacombs" comment? Thrawn is loading an undead army to bring with him.
6:42 I love that David Tennant got to be the first person to actually speak those words out loud in a Star Wars property. Unless I missed it somewhere else.
I really don't get peoples complaint that Sabine didn't vomit five minutes of exposition that all of us watching already know onto Ezra within the first ten seconds of seeing him. There's important things to discuss but there's no bomb counting down in the corner, she has fifteen minutes to enjoy the fact she found her friend before dumping all that on him. It'd be one thing if they'd done a montage of them spending days together this episode and she never brought it up, but that's not what happened.. she was in front of him for maybe two minutes of real in-world time.
I haven't gotten far enough into Rebels to see Thrawn yet, so this was my first time seeing him. I was praying he wouldn't be 'actively' evil, but more disconnected evil, which did not disappoint. One of the great aspects of Vader, as a villain, specifically in Empire, was his emotional disconnection to the atrocities he was committing.
Hey, Angela! Lots of payoffs and lots of foreshadowing in an atmospheric episode. Very cool META REFERENCE by Huyang quoting the franchise's opening lines, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", which is how he opened his folktales to the younglings. PERIDEA's rings are the bones of dead Purrgills! The planet is like an ELEPHANT GRAVEYARD for them. Filoni just RET-CONNED the whole origin of the Nightsisters! The LEGENDS CANON was the order was begun by a rogue Jedi 600 years in the past who set up shop on Dathomir and lured female colonists away from their families. The colonists were expelled and Dathomir became known as a witch-world. The adepts used their power to garner influence and their dangerous reputation ensured their isolation. Some pirates sold them Zabrak slaves with whom they interbred keeping the female children for the order and establishing a Nightbrother settlement for the males. The human-Zabrak hybrids of Dathomir were called Dathomiri-Zabrak like Darth Maul who was Mother Talzin's son. True Zabraks hail from their homeworld of Iridonia. By the time of the Clone Wars, all Nightsisters and Nightbrothers were Dathomiri-Zabrak hybrids. The Nightsisters debuted in the 1985 live-action TV movie "Battle for Endor". The NEW CANON states the Nightsisters originated in this other galaxy and established outposts in the Star Wars galaxy before history was recorded pre-dating the RAKATAN INFINITE EMPIRE! This is a major deviation from established lore! The three elders who greet the pilgrims are three known actresses named after the three FATE SISTERS of Greek mythology! KLOTHOW is played by CLAUDIA BLACK of "Farscape" where she portrayed Aeryn Sun and "Pitch Black" where she portrayed Shazza. She is named after CLOTHO, the Fate who spins the thread of life. LAKESIS is played by JANE EDWINA SEYMOUR of "Star Trek: Picard" where she portrayed the Borg Queen. She is named after LACHESIS, the Fate who measures out the thread of life. AKTROPAW is played by JERYL PRESCOTT of "The Walking Dead" where she portrayed Jacqui and "Ray Donovan" where she portrayed Cherry. She is named after ATROPOS, the Fate who cuts the thread of life! It's disorienting for LEGENDS fans to see LARS MIKKELSEN in the role of Thrawn because he is supposed to be a younger man with strikingly chiseled good looks and sharp cheekbones. However, I was prepped to accept the change by seeing "Rebels" and "The Witcher" where he played the wily mage Stregobor. It's good continuity keeping the voice actor and Mikkelsen did not disappoint. CAPTAIN ENOCH with the gold faceplate is played by WES CHATHAM of "The Expanse" where he portrayed Amos Burton. The troops are all bound by red Nightsister bandages and their cracked armor has been repaired using the KINTSUGI method of filling the gaps with gold lacquer. Thrawn says their numbers have dwindled and he's reluctant to commit too many troops to track Sabine. I bet these guys are mostly ZOMBIE TROOPERS like Marrok the Inquisitor. BAYLAN and SHIN are the stars of the show! RAY STEVENSON is killing it in this part! What's calling out to this man? What do the Nightsisters wish to get away from? How can it break the cycle of war? Is it possible the YUUZHAN VONG are lurking somewhere nearby? I sure hope so! EZRA BRIDGER shows up as EMAN ESFANDI with blue contacts and a beard looking very much like Ezra's pops from the cartoon images! Very good casting. He and Sabine have an unpleasant discussion ahead. The HOWLER's attachment to Sabine was very cute as were the nomadic NOTI Shell People. The bandits looked like RONIN in their red armor. What is the cargo being loaded onto the 'Chimera'? Nightsisters in stasis? Mummified Nightsisters? Nightsister relics? Nightsister treasure? We shall see...
Eman Esfandi did great ! He looks, moves, and speaks like Ezra, I loved his performance ! Now I guess my only problem with this episode is Sabine lying to Ezra, and Ezra not sensing her anxiety through the force. I know Dave Filoni is telling a story there but argh... Just talk to him Sabine! Tell him everything before it's too late! Also yes, Sabine's Lightsaber was Erza's during Rebels. Ezra gave it to Chopper during the last episode of Rebels. Hera and Chopper probably gave it to Sabine afterwards.
I know about Sabine. She'd rather they just bump into Thrawn and his mercenaries. Just one dumb mistake after the next. Make up for it and be sure the both of you are ready. She makes it hard to like her and I did a lot in Rebels.
I think he knows. That "Sabine?" when she didn't want to answer his questios. I think he just wants to Trust her, and he wants to leave that place as much as Thrawn
Dave Filoni is revitalizing my love for Star Wars! The storytelling and music has been transcending! I never thought that I would be living during an era where Hayden returns and where we get live actions Rebels.
"Everyone who watched The Expanse will recognize him" Always wears a mask. Ha ha ha ha ha! Seriously though, Thrawn sure knows how to make an entrance.
Neither Thrawn nor the Night Sisters were anticipating lots of whales, so destroying them won't be easy. It was great to see Claudia Black, from Farscape and Stargate, playing one of the Night Sisters, specifically the Great Mother. I am so happy they got Lars Mikkelson to play Thrawn. He's such a great actor and his voice as Thrawn from Rebels was epic.
The night troopers terrify me because the loyalty they're showing after so many years suggests to me that their armor isn't the only thing broken apart and put back together night sister style. I suspect they're some percentage zombie
Figured it out. Baylan Skoll is trying to get rid of the two groups, jedi and sith and make them into one group as force users. He got tired of the conflict between force users and now sees that the only way to stopping the cycle is by uniting all force users. That's the new beginning he seeks.
I love your channel. Your reactions are always so genuine, you can see it in your face. While some reactors feel the need for cheesy commentary throughout the video, you keep the commentary to questions surrounding the events. Well done.
Now I love the clones more than anything. But those Night troopers, have got to be the most dark and cool concept ever. I know this is the Ahsoka show and I LOVE AHSOKA. but it's SO HARD to not be team Thrawn
My prediction: Ahsoka shows up just a little after Thrawn gets that cargo loaded, and the two ships manage to pass each other with the jedi able to land in the hermit crab people village just as Ezra and Sabine start arguing about mistakes being made, but Huyang gets everyone to come to task once Ezra explains what exactly it is that was in all those crates and why we need to head back, and the final episode will probably leave the galaxy in a dark, troubled time; and yet the republic loyalists will have a new hope in the return of Ezra. Also, Bridger beard is impressive and i hope he keeps it.
I think peridia is like an elephants grave yard, the whole pod travels there regulary and the old ones stay there to die, while the rest of the pod moves on.
I really, really liked the design of the armors that Thrawn's troopers wear. If you look closely at them, you'll notice that their armors have been broken and then repaired with kintsugi. Kintsugi is a Japanese art of repairing pottery by using a lacquer that contains gold which gives the cracks in the repaired pottery the color of gold. This way, the pottery doesn't suffer from being broken and it can even be argued that in the process of being broken and then made new, it became more beautiful. The symbolic implications of it being used on Thrawn's forces is quite interesting to me. Between this and Ahsoka's very clear samurai/ronin vibes, Dave Filoni seems to have been very influenced by Japanese culture when making this show.
26:56 yes, there are KIN-TSUGI, which is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage. I’m impressed your knowledge. from Japan🇯🇵

Holy shit I didn’t realize that was her 🤣
this took me totally by surprise.. didnt realiced it was her
@@drumaticpageofmusic4148 Me either. Really ashamed at not getting that on first viewing, as I always like seeing Claudia turn up in anything.
As I watched Farscape and SG-1. I was thrilled to see her finally in a SW franchise. 🎉
OMG! Just hearing that voice again. And in live action.
Thrawn knows how to make an entrance.
And we have a return to the Ezrabine banter.
This episode is another calm before the storm.
Yes it does, unfortunately they haven't got the talent Andor has to carry an episode like this. Let's face it Ray Stevenson and Ivanna Sakhno are the only interesting characters here. As soon as Thrawn mentioned betraying Baylon that was it for me.
Calm? I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!! 😬
He also looks a bit like Kanan.
That Guy.
This episode was solid. Not the same highs of last episode, but DAMN does Lars kill it as Thrawn.
I think the last episode was once in a lifetime
Yeah topping last episode was always going to be impossible. But this was still really good.
I couldn’t disagree more, at least on one hand. Last week was a nostalgia dream, this was a dream in a whole different light. One’s looking to the past, the other, the future. 🙂
Actually Baylan did say Sabine "would be reunited with her friend" but I'm not sure if he knew Ezra was still alive.
To me there was always more than one way to take that...
And why is Ezra has a beard like his Master before him?
@@jasonsacchi😂 guess there's no shaving cream out here with the Hermit Crab people
@@I.LostalimThat’s disappointing hospitality. 3/5 stars. May not recommend.
Baylon was just using lure tactics to get Sabine to turn over the map
Is it just me or are the Noti (the little aliens Ezra befriended) are basically space tortoise hobbits? 😁😁
Also, my guess is that Sabine will tell Ezra what happened. She just wanted to have a moment to be able to be happy that she managed to finally find him after all this time.
@troyross4920If they’re hermit crabs, the shells are removable (AND there are additional arms holding those shells on their backs).
Ezra gave his lightsaber to Sabine at the end of Rebels. Will be interesting if she gives it back to him? She did alter it according to Huyang. Ezra would surely do a better job with it than Sabine.
If he found any kyber crystals he probably made a new one.
From what I've heard he doesn't need a lightsaber anymore lol ... I accidentally spoiled myself
@@claymccarthy6198 I did hear something about that too. Then again I also heard something about him making one from Rancor bone.
I'm interested in the fact that the night sisters in a galaxy far, far away still recognize the stench of Jedi.
I think it's been talked about before that they had tamed purgill before ships with hyper drives. What if there are Jedi in this galaxy too?
For some reason I was not expecting Ezra to show up in this episode.
Me neither, was thinking Sabine going adventuring would be a season 2 thing
This guy does Ezra's voice and delivery quite well
I didn't see Ezra. Who is this Ezra? I did see Jabba though.
@@shugaroony no, that was Lando
It’s interesting that the Nightsisters detected Jedi from Sabine, even with no Force abilities.
Those new Night Troopers remind me of Spartan soldiers. Wondering if they have some influence of Nightsisters magic, like Marrok.
Not from Sebine... there was an ex-jedi next to her..
I got chills seeing that Star Destroyer in that first scene with it. So cool.
Aha! Now we know where Ezra Bridger took Grand Admiral Thrawn at the end of Star Wars Rebels.
I really hope the "Thrawn" chant was worked into the score because that's what made that reveal moment so chilling
"A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away 13 tribes of humans lived on a planet called Kobol..."
This is "Ahsoka The White". Wiser and more powerful than before. Just like Gandalf 😜
Ezra and Sabine was a more emotional reunion for me (*-* )
Maybe there's a deeper lessen here about cuteness.
I loved this episode, I'm so excited for the final two episodes. In Dave and Jon, We Trust.
Enoch told her to "Die well", how very Mandalorian
At the end of Rebels, Ezra gave his Lightsabre to Choppa, to hand it over to Sabine in the end. Huyang also commented on that in episode 2, that she still has Ezras lightsabre, made modifications to it and made it her own.
Your upload speed is godly
Xander is a miracle worker!
It is Sabine’s lightsaber now. Ezra gave it to her, then she modified it
Huyang: ”A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away…”
Me: **No thoughts, just screaming**
😭 this show is INCREDIBLE
How funny would it be if we never see Enoch's face. His armor is so cool though!
Ezra gave Sabine his lightsaber at the end of ‘Rebels’, but she’s made some changes to it when she was Ahsoka’s apprentice the first time. Huyang even mentioned that when Sabine was recovering from being stabbed by Shin.
Didn't Huyang say this in part 2?
@@jakecook2375, yes.
Thank you@@sithlordkaeyl21
Baylon sort of reminds me of Daenerys Targaryen with respect to "breaking the wheel."
I can’t say it enough, they nailed Ezra! Perfect casting!
Your smile really brings joy! Love the channel :)
Thrawn's motivation in his books is actually a quite noble one, to assemble a fighting force strong enough to protect his people, the Chiss, from outside threats.
Fun fact I learned today:
The cinematography for episodes 2, 3 and 5 was done by Quyen Tran, who is married to Sam Riegel who plays Scanlan Shorthalt in The Legend of Vox Machina.
Hello there, I'm happy to see Grand Admiral Thrawn's make his Grand Appearance, he does look mencing, I wouldn't want to be on his bad side.
Storm Trooper Zombies... we might get them in live. o.O
Edit: also this other Galaxy would be a great place to put some of the old legends stories that don't fit in the original galaxy anymore.
_“[The Force] is an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us; it binds the galaxy together.”_
Therefore, just as Force-sensitive people can sense other Force-sensitive people, and distinguish between the Dark and Light Side, I suspect the particular discipline one uses to connect with the Force is a two-way street. Meaning, it affects you, but you also affect it.
(“You can’t take the Razorback!”
While we may think the implication is about morals, I think the finer truth concerns the resonance within the energy field.
Sabine finding him reminds me of Zuko getting chewed out by Iroh though:
"You had him! And then what? You never think this through."
-"I would have thought of something"
"No you wouldnt!"
Ezra does LOVE collecting stormtrooper helmets, and Enoch has a VERY cool helmet! So there's still a chance of seeing Wes's face!
Baylan did promise she would see Ezra again. "I give you my word, no harm will come to you. You will be reunited with your friend."
So glad I stayed up for this upload
Xander gettin it done!
Ditto!
Jedi Fairy Tales about a distant galaxy ... of course Filoni gives us Tennant saying *THE* line 😍
Whilst not Sith, Night Sister Magicks draws from the dark side.
The music was perfection in this episode/series overall!
I had the sense that Paridia is like an elephant graveyard - where Pergil go when they are near the end of their lives.
You are correct. Peridea is is where the Purgil go to die, it’s not a killing field - although it might be if Thrawn/Morgan have a say
They literally say that in the episode. 👍
Lol through this whole episode I was like, "The stormtrooper is Ezra!" "The head bandit is Ezra!" "The wolf-thing is Ezra!" 😆
I’m pretty sure it was the first time it’s ever been said by a character in Star Wars
3:55 - Imagine how a live action Thrawn feels to those of us who read the Timothy Zahn books in the early 90s.
Yes, Ray Stevenson is owning it . . . what a legend that Legionnaire Pullo!!!
"They bokken, it bokke" - Anzellans about the Jedi trained in the wild

@@funnylilgalreacts You're the best!
I was expecting him to mean he would kill her so she would meet him in the afterlife. I kept expecting them to bring her to his grave or a corpse.
Not only has Hayden returned but given us some of the best scenes across two different shows!
I kind of love how the show is having fun with us on whether or not Sabine can use the force. 😂
It's like, did she just... nope!
She's immune to lightsabers. Seems ridiculously supernatural to me.
"Everyone who watched The Expanse will recognize him"
Always wears a mask. Ha ha ha ha ha!
Seriously though, Thrawn sure knows how to make an entrance.
what i cant wait to see, is the expression thrawn will give once he finds out anakin aka vadar, trained ahsoka.
Somewhere in Cyborg heaven General Grevious is wheezing angrily at the existence and survival of more Nightsisters.
Huyang: "A star destroyer getting it on with a planet, now I have seen it all"
The night troopers terrify me because the loyalty they're showing after so many years suggests to me that their armor isn't the only thing broken apart and put back together night sister style.
Did you notice Sabine used her saber deflect a blaster bolt? This is why she Force sensitive are teasing then she will doing it when it counts.
I'm willing to bet Thrawn has had to resort to Night Sister Magic giving him an army of Undead Troopers. All those Stormtroopers are obedient Zombies.
“Dog bat horse” is cute
Awe! I looked exactly the same as you during this episode! 😄
Shoutout to angela & the whole team for bringing us early reactions! You're a champ!
I immediately thought of that when I saw their armor, didnt know what it was called though
The terrifying thing about Thrawn is the way he could order the genocide of a whole species in a tone of voice like he is ordering tea.
@Angela-
I love being on this journey with you. Your connection with the story, and bringing us along with your insights is why I love your channel.
Sadly, Like "The Expanse" it will be over way before I want it to end...
