Ya'll have been asking for this for a long time! If you're interested in the reel or camera I use check the video description for all the links. Let me know what you want to see next! Wahoo season is knocking at the front door =)
To stop fish sliding around when filleting use an old towel on your table. Don't forget to ask if the towel is old. That was a great deep dropping video
Very interesting view of a fish's reaction to a bait ! Watching how the fish responds after getting hooked ! I was waiting to see at what depth the air bladder would pop out of the fishes mouth, but never saw that happen until it was out of the water ? Those fillets reminded me of some of the salmon that I took out of Lake Michigan ... HUGE !!! VERY COOL VIDEO !
You keep knocking them out of the park. Incredible deep drop footage that you don’t see on any other channel. Heiko leading the way in the technology dept.
While I have never caught one, as a fish cutter here in NJ, I find a serrated knife works well for big grpuper. Hands down the wings are the best! Enjoyed the movie, Well done sir.😁
Absolutely fabulous video from you guys. This Englishman is very envious of what you have on your doorstep over that side of the Atlantic. Man.... That fish, that food, that girl and to top it all off, that sunset!! Good work from both of you. 🤟🏻👍🏻
Heiko and Caitlyn, awesome day. You guys are blessed. I still LOVE how Caitlyn has stepped up her game. Food looks delicious. Keep up with the video's. I'm hooked.
I love the underwater cam but I also like seeing the build up and the excitement while the fish is getting reeled in. So I think having the main video running with the underwater footage in a smaller box on the side would be the optimal solution.
Slimy fish I had the same problem I just grabbed an old towel and put it down made all the difference in the world great video always watching them hi Caitlin
Hey brotha. Someone may have already suggested it but the Seaqualizer is awesome. Pressure release clip for deep water releases. Great vid. Awesome gofish cam
EXCELLENT day my friends!! Killer sunset!! Maybe clamp a wet towel on the fish cleaning table, keep the fish from sliding around. Works well for me. Love your channel, keep up the great work!! Tight lines.
Love your channel your livening the life .... If lived in Miami all my life and I’ve been fishing since I was a Youngin you are living my dream . You are blessed. I’ve learned a lot from the channel but it seems now that you’ve gone commercial. With all these commercials you have but I understand you got to make a living to have your dream. Wish I could meet you one day maybe go fishing together .
I cannot criticize anything. Ive lost a lot of line in rocky bottom. All I’d recommend is a few feet of 40lb test to the lead, just enough to break away. I’ve had probably around 4 30+ lbs tilefish break off the 6lb lead, but when u get these fish it’s all worth it. That being said, larger tiles we catch are all in around 950ft, 6-8lb lead with a 3 hook rig. Fish the down current sides of muddy/sandy hills and you’ll have a lot of success. This info applies to our Broward fishermen but I’m sure it’ll be of use. Best of luck to you! Love the vids Haiko!
If you’re using heavy lead up it to 60lbs. I’ve noticed in the Keys you usually have less current than Broward which is 3.0 yo 4.5 knots Broward summertime, usually 4.5, but sometimes up to 5. In these cases I’d recommend not deep dropping, but if u did I’d use stronger breakaway line from the bottom 3-way to the lead in harder conditions, 60-80lbs. For snowy’s, at least a ft of breakaway line to limit snags. Congrats on the snowy’s! I’m still an out of town googin. Sharks usually get mine on the way up but I know they’re there. Btw you’re gf is smoking. You’re a lucky man my friend! Stay prudent and keep her happy! Happy fishing you lucky SOB! Keep it going. Get an air fryer when u can. The fish will be crispier and with zero oil to drain. Much healthier!
Your videos are freaking awesome bud I love the banax electric reels I have them myself just got in from fishing myself and started watching your vids!
Takes something away from it you know watching the fish being hauled up from the bottom but. Hearing your Rebel Yell as you brought the fish up put it all back into perspective for me hell yeah!
Heiko, if you have an old kitchen towel. Just wet the towel, and place it on the cutting table or board. Place fish on towel, no more slip sliding around.
Heiko I think the best idea would be to make a Wahoo video. Like you said Wahoo season is knocking on the door. Let's do it! 🎣🎣🎣 Should be fun. Good luck and stay safe
Nice video! Awesome underwater shots and a great catch. I like to know how the Banax 1000 is holding up, I have a fish winch but is much too slow. Can the Banax handle an 8 lbs weight ? Thanks and I'll tell my friends about your videos.
Hey Capt Heiko quick question. How do you like your Tanacom 1000 electric reel? Im thinking about pulling the trigger on 1 i can get 4 yr exstended warranty for 39 bucks that sounds great to me. Just want your honest opinion on the reel. Thanks brother
Heiko, when did you switch your reel? and why because I'm in the market and was going to get the one you had before and now you have this one was there something wrong with the other?
On the second drop it looked like you were watching the bottom because it lifted perfectly over that reef cropping that was like 20 feet tall. Are you able to read that off the sonar?
When decending a fish you do not need to puncture the "air bladder" or decompress the fish at the surface. They have videos of fish going down and their stomach and eyes returning to normal before being released and swimming off. A simple wire decender works but the sequalizer is best IMHO.

I swear that grouper was talking when it got hooked. Excellent video brother.
16:46 "Look at these muscles" 😆💪😁 Caitlin's got muscles AND balls for holding that thing... I admire that!
To stop fish sliding around when filleting use an old towel on your table.

Sunset dinner.🙌 was beautiful. ..Great Videos.
I really enjoyed this video and the way you set it up !!!!!!! Nice snowy. Good eats.......
Heiko add a piece of sea deck with your logo on you cleaning table just inside your drain groove, will help with the fish sliding and claens up easy.
Great video, that dinner looked epic. Sunset was top quality colors.
That Groper will make a few meals by itself.
Absolutely the best deep drop video! I'm going in October.
Nice Grouper . That was cool to see the bite . Put you a towel on the cleaning table helps keep the fish from sliding .
Thanks for the information on how to setup for bottom fishing thanks again
Takes something away from it you know watching the fish being hauled up from the bottom but. Hearing your Rebel Yell as you brought the fish up put it all back into perspective for me hell yeah!

Great video! I enjoyed the underwater footage. Nice ending awesome shot!
Really enjoyed the fish cam.
Heiko, if you have an old kitchen towel. Just wet the towel, and place it on the cutting table or board.
Place fish on towel, no more slip sliding around.
Take that camera sword fishing. Take it deep!
If you put an old towel on your table the fish won't slide around. That was great deep drop camera shot.😆😆
Wow guys great day of fishing great video love the underwater footage Kaitlyn you are gorgeous
Heiko I think the best idea would be to make a Wahoo video. Like you said Wahoo season is knocking on the door. Let's do it! 🎣🎣🎣
Should be fun. Good luck and stay safe
The cleaning table, though!!! Nice addition to the SFFC game. I’d add some turf on the table so fish don’t move. Love this episode, bro!!!
Nice video! Awesome underwater shots and a great catch. I like to know how the Banax 1000 is holding up, I have a fish winch but is much too slow. Can the Banax handle an 8 lbs weight ? Thanks and I'll tell my friends about your videos.

Awesome video, my turn in about 2 weeks. Hopefully it goes as good for us!
Get an old beach towel or some newspaper to put on the filet table. Keeps the fish from sliding around. Nice catch.

Love me some Snooks. They have the best Pina Coladas!
Perfect size grouper
Awesome fish!
You need one of those pressure clips. You hook it on the fish and when it gets down to a certain pressure it releases the fish
