Literally Same
To all new players here watching this video: HI! I’ve been playing volleyball for almost 3 years. It doesn’t seem like much but I have put a lot of hours into learning this sport. I do not know everything and I am in no way the best player but I do know that volleyball can be very difficult to learn both physically and mentally. The most important thing that new players should know is NEVER GIVE UP! This game requires perseverance, patience, dedication and positivity. You will lose points or mess up a skill inevitably but don’t let that discourage you. Just one player being in their head can bring down the whole team, positive attitudes and the “I can do this” mindset is the best thing you can bring to the court. If you mess up a serve, make it up with a pass or by cheering your teammates on. You got this and I’m glad you chose to play this sport!
Thank you.
I’m starting JV girls volleyball in a month and I’ve never played before 😅 This video helped me a lot!! Thank you!!!
Sameee😭 my first time playing was yesterday and i was so lost
As someone who has only just started learning how to play this was super helpful, especially when you explained how volleyball rotation works! Thank you
Newbies need this video, hell even professionals need this video! Even if you have been playing vball for a while, Christian does a good job in this very, very awesome tutorial we all needed. So guys, get your Mikasa or Molten vballs out and start practicing.
I just bought a volleyball and started learning a few days ago, so this will def help! Thanks for the fire content Christian ❤️🔥
Amazing video. Explains the sport very well for newer players.
Love how detailed this video is. Would have been awesome to have this when I first started. Great video!
im do glad i found this video, i got on a volleyball team after wanting to play volleyball for a year. but i have no idea what im doing this vid helped sm😭🙏🏼
Thanks fir explaining so many different terms and even just what people would consider "obvious"! My friends want me to start playing with them, and I wanted to feel at least a little prepared, so I appreciate you making this video! ❤
Never played volleyball but I've been picked as a replacement for a volleyball tourney, this should be fun
I’m so excited for this video! I’m new to volleyball and need all the help I can get lol!
Actually goated bro, thanks cuz I suck at sets
Can’t wait for the next one(you should probably show what a 3-step approach looks like for beginners)
If you want to learn how to play volleyball just watch haikyuu😅
real
No joke it's actually the best advice
Kkk no man, but It's a really good anime, It motivated Very people to Begin the sport, as me, i really love this anime
I learned how to stop in mid air
@@I_Eat_Fuh no way bro 😂
i’ve been practicing for abt 2 years & decided to try out for my HS team this year(incoming sophomore), i’m currently at volleyball camp rotations is what’s confusing me the most. This video helped explain them so much😭🙏🏽
thank you! I really want to start 6th grade modified volleyball next year and I’m likely going to do it (my parents support me playing like a ton of sports as long as they aren’t too violent) and this helped a lot, I started looking at ur channel and I really enjoy the videos! Keep up the good work bro! :D
Rock method is great! The pancake method works great too. Had a player of mine say it's pancake, pancake, sausage, sausage. 🤗
I found this super helpful!!! Thank you soo much 😊😊
This video was incredibly useful, although Im not very new to the sport it would have helped when i started out!
So helpful!
Too many helpful pieces of advice to list
I’m a non-English speaking student and recently came to study in New Zealand.I want to find volleyball players in University. There are some sport terms I don’t know how to express, but this vedio help me a lot!❤❤❤
Lots of love from France

(We are better than usa
Most useful as breakdown
Im also a lefty and a setter in my team!!!
Plz make a video on setting.
Hey Christian, do you have any tips on how to get better at volleyball? I've been playing for around a year now, and I just wanted help getting better. Also, keep up the great work with ur vids!
PME, I have been watching your videos for about a year now and you inspired me to try volleyball. I was nervous because i didnt know how to play since i was new to the sport. I ended up building the confidence to try out for my highschool volleyball team and out of 160 freshmen who tried out, i made it. I have been watching other volleyball creators but no one really clicks. I relate to you more because i want to be a setter and i think that it is the most important role. Pls keep making content man because you viewers love you and i wish you good luck on the rest of your carrier.
Bro are you a guy? Cause there’s no way there’s 160 freshman for boys volleyball... I wish bro half the schools near me don’t even have men’s volleyball
hey
i relate to you so much can i have ur ig or msgs? i need more information lol sorry its out of pocket
This is very reassuring, thank you
Yess
Haikyuu motivates me
This Video is very good. I mean I'm playing Volleyball since 2 years and still though it was interesting. But actually I need a explanation how to run a 5:1😅 would you try to explain this? Actually I couldn't find a video of it where I really got how to manage this.
make a video on how to spike . PLEASE
Good job on the video. In the shoe department, I hate seeing kids wear basketball shoes; they are too heavy. Great volleyball shoes from Mizuno, Asics, Nike, etc., are lighter and made for the jump. I am not a shoe rep. I have been a coach and player for 35 years.
Really educational. But I am having a problem in understanding the volleyball rotations in terms of positions to where they should and shouldn't go.
Can you explain the 5-1 rotation?
Here before the video is 24hr old, great video btw
Guys im going into middle school and this will be my first year trying out for vb and my tryouts are next month, does anybody have any tips that might help??
I have one problem with serving I just can’t get get a high ball my serve just hits the floor and it won’t go over the net any tips?
I already liked volleyball, but now, I've been watching (real life) videos and Haikyuu and I'm getting motivated a lot
I've bought a ball and I've been practicing, but I'm still newbie
This summer I'll practice a lot and wath more of your videos, thanks a *lot* :D
Aside from the aforementioned skills, you also need to have these two aptitudes to really enjoy the game.
1.) Positivity aka "I can do this" mentality
2.) Resilience aka "I'll do better next time" mentality
Volleyball is a game of mistakes & lucky break so YOU TRULY NEED THOSE 2 APTITUDES.
No matter how perfectly you pass, set or hit the ball, if you cannot score it then the opposition will have their chance. And sometimes, as luck would bless them, the opposing team who did mediocre in that bout will score the point just because your pinky touched the ball when their hitter did a high ball attack or maybe your blocker was seen slightly touching the net or etc. This sport, where you're not allowed to hold the ball even just for a second, is truly hardwork but it is 100000% FUUUUUN!
We have the same shoe
New balance 530 good for volleyball?
Do u need to be tall to play volleyball (like jumping super high and hitting)
Wanna start volleyball? Watch this and binge Haikyuu in 1 day for a month, easy
im actually watching these volleyball tutorials because I'm such a haikyu! fan😂
be honest most of us are here cause of Haikyuu 💀
Since the positions are rotated, how does everyone get back into formation? ‘Cause everyone has a role right? So like, if the middle blocker is moved into the back to serve, do they come back to the front after serving, or do people have multiple roles?
I think the person at the back right after the rotation always serves
I don't have knee pads, I have leg sleeves 😂
HIIIIII! ILOVE UR CHANNEL AND IM SO EARLYYYY! PIN??
me knowing the rules but dont know how to do the skills
I know everything about volleyball from haikyuu, bro i'm just brag cuz i watched the vid and i know the rules befor🤭
Volleyball*
Same lol! Feels weird to know everything from a video and never played the sport besides for like once with no knowledge on it! That was before i watched haikyuu lmao!
How old are you
It's because I'm a little worried because I'm 15 years old and I don't know if it's worth starting to play at this age. What do you think about this?😅
yes sit
bro became coach koko but real
Yoo im nearly 18 And I realised I love volleyball. I know its a bit too late but if I hardcore train everyday, put the work in and effort and if I got talent would it be possible to play for some team in the future? Even div 3 or anything..
I played 3 years in school but on PE so the level was really low.. And im from Poland 😅
Edit: I didnt start earlier asi live like 2 hrs from the capital so going both ways would be 4 hours daily, i just dont hve time with school, 2nd of all all the clubs accepted people who already knew how to play ( i was 15) and in my city, there is a DIV 2 team, however again, they only take in experienced, now however they opened a recreation group 2x a week, where i can practice after summer holidays with other people) I hope the recreational team + daily training might make be good enough to get into ANY team!! its my dream, and i regret not starting earlier, (before the age of 15 i lived in england where volleyball basically doesnt exist)
Yes if course you can even become one of the top players in the world if u stick to the grind bro. Good luck!
Its never to late just keep up the hard work
😮😮 free
You forgot the underhand serve lol
I wanna be libero like a rec god
Sameee libero is what i wanna be! Just gotta learn more about it lol!
lol same
@Christian what is your favorite bible verse . Thank for the video
Gang arent u in brazil?
I literally came here because of haikyuu🙏
Only reason I want to play is because of haikyuu:)
good tutorial but I would’ve liked to see videos from women’s games as well, you only used clips and examples of men’s games. Women’s game are just as incredible to watch and are sometimes more interesting in the way they use agility over power.
Yay
Third
My volleyball was 5$… 5 below
fiNALLY
I wore kneepads for 15 mins as was like, bruh I think Im playing worse
Spike gang leave a like ->
serve recieve...
rotation is why I'll stick to beach volleyball
Bro really said the most obvious things
probably you just know the basics and isnt a begginer lol
“Cost of equipment is relatively low” The cost of equipment: 50+ dollars
That is relatively low....
Which is…relatively low 😂 compared to most other sports, anyway
right bro has me thinking i’m relatively poor
Also me who bought my volleyball for 11 bucks: 🗿
@@adampnewsome true but if you're thinking just pure money than it's kinda expensive
"50-60$ is nto to expensive" like bro whattttt😂
you're teaching me how to play volleyball. well I'll teach my mother bedrooms can be messier than mine. and mine is nothing compared to other people. period.
Why are you shirtless in every thumbnail ☠️
“Cost of equipment is relatively low” The cost of equipment: 50+ dollars
That's really low for sports equipment some are 99+
