Wouldn't PBW need to be washed off with the same temp water as it was applied with? I've been doing it like this and its always a pain in the ass not to mention dangerous as im carrying large volumes of 150+ F water to wash my steel with. Also Are gloves necessary I never wear gloves and figured it might give me dry hands, but is it toxic? Thank you
Not that I'm aware of. I've been using it for like 12 years and haven't had an issue with soaking or cleaning using hot water and then rinsing with whatever temperature the water coming out of the tap is. I just checked their website and all it says is that it needs to be rinsed off. They don't mention a specific temperature for rinsing. Cheers
Just what I needed to know, just bought a new stainless steel fermenter. Anxious to make a new brew in it. Thanks
Awesome, enjoy your new fermenter. Cheers

@@graintoglass Thank you!
What about TSP? That will better remove factory grease. PWB is best used for organic material cleaning. No?
TSP should work as well. Cheers
