Ka Radar instant on speeder busted Uniden R4 Radar detector

- I got a Ka radar signal a ways back so I knew radar was in the area. Saw this Toyota coming from behind and so did the radar. Not a Stinger. Pays to have a reactive detector like the Unidens.

@@ts6640 yes ka , we have pop here on I-15 by the state cops on 33.8. The sit in the median and use pop, then hit full I/O if they get a hit.

What is a "reactive" detector? And would you recommend this dashcam? is that the model number in the bottom center?
Reactive is Uniden. Uniden's alert right away to quick i/o the others delay the alert so you miss distant shots. Escorts are really bad for that. The Viofo cams serve me well.
I have had the uniden r7 for 4 years. It’s fucking amazing. Haven’t had a ticket since.
