I live in a mobile home with the crappy wallpapered walls. Do I need to do anything extra before I start this? Like remove the wallpaper? Please say no, because it’s made with the sheet rock.

well i am not a expert, but yes you should remove the old wallpaper ok
but also if this is drywall with wall paper over it, then no ok
because in mobile homes, they have what is called wall papered drywall ok, so no you cannot remove the old wall paper ok
trust me, i used to work on mobile homes a lot as a living ok hehe

Always start tile from your lowest point. Which is the right wall. This is why your corners dont match. The wall in front of you should have been ripped down at the bottom closest to counter. Otherwise nice job

If the tile is porous do you put the grout on the same way or is there a technique to keep the grout from getting set in the porous holes?
to avoid grout from going in the porous sections. you can also use a grout caulk gun. another way would be to try to only spread on the grout line. another way would to do a test with a tile that you have not placed and see if cleaning it fast by doing small sections would come off with ease, the idea would be to remove the grout before it sets. you can also use a toothbrush or fine brush this can also help in many cases

the more protection always is going to be better, in this video we use a grout sealer.
