    Hello Fix it Flip. Great Job!!
    Can I use this in the wet area of the bathroom....i.e bath tub surround, over existing tiles?
    By the way, the little darling wanting attention from mom and dad was the best part of this video...😍

    • @fixitFlip
      @fixitFlip  3 роки тому +1

      Hi! Yes, you can put them over existing tiles, as long as they are smooth! I know that they will hold up to a decent amount of moisture, but I'm not sure if I would necessarily put them IN the shower, if that makes sense. That might be more than they could handle.

      @@theemperor2017 I actually read online where somebody directly asked the company that and this was their response: "They are easy to remove with little to no damage, depending on the surface they were installed on. To make it easy, use a blow dryer to warm up each tile to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Use a cleaning product to wash the wall and remove any excess glue left by the Smart Tiles." Hope that helps.

      Smart Tiles cannot adhere properly to certain rough or porous surfaces. For example:
      Porous wood
      Relief ceramic tiles
      Textured wallpaper
      Unpainted gypsum
      Inside of a shower
      Floors
      Countertops

      I believe they will stand up to a decent amount of moisture but that may be too much to use right above the shower.

      I actually read online where somebody directly asked the company that and this was their response: "They are easy to remove with little to no damage, depending on the surface they were installed on. To make it easy, use a blow dryer to warm up each tile to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Use a cleaning product to wash the wall and remove any excess glue left by the Smart Tiles." Hope that helps.

      They are pretty easy to remove with little to no damage, depending on the surface they were installed on. You can use a blow dryer to warm up each tile to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Use a cleaning product to wash the wall and remove any excess glue left behind.
