What a great idea to use the popsicle sticks for the caulk! Brillant
Thank you!
"Ooooh mooommmyy" so cute!
:)
Love it! The gray caulk really ties it together nicely!
Thank you!
I like the popscicle stick trick, I they’d come in handy someday! Thanks for the video!
No problem!
This is one of the better vedios I seen very well explained. You guys make it look so easy.
Thank you for the kind words!
Great job. New subscriber. I love how you used the wooden popsicle sticks to smooth the chaulk in place. It looks great. 🙂😊👍🏡
That's great. Thank you!
Super helpful. My kitchen counter is not perfectly level. This video answered the questions I had.
Great, glad I could help!
I'm thinking of doing that too but what impressed me the most was the popsicle stick ..who knew ,im using that idea .
Ha ha, an old trick!
You guys made it look so easy.. I want to backsplash my kitchen with the peel & stick. I ready to give it a try now. Thanks 💪
Awesome, good luck with the project. Glad we could inspire you!!
Thank you for this. I did my bathroom and what a difference!!
No problem. Glad it worked out for you!
@@fixitFlip Yes thank you!!!!!
Y'all did a great job!
Thank you!
Hello Fix it Flip. Great Job!!
Can I use this in the wet area of the bathroom....i.e bath tub surround, over existing tiles?
By the way, the little darling wanting attention from mom and dad was the best part of this video...😍
Hi! Yes, you can put them over existing tiles, as long as they are smooth! I know that they will hold up to a decent amount of moisture, but I'm not sure if I would necessarily put them IN the shower, if that makes sense. That might be more than they could handle.
You know quickly if you always want to watch this channel... I love it! 🥰
Ruth Arjona Thank you!!
Just found my new bathroom backsplash. Great look, thanks for posting.
Awesome, hope it works out for you!
It looks so beautiful! Thank you for your video guys!!

Looks really nice, great tips
Thank you!
This is exactly what I was looking for
Great!
@liz torres, me too. So happy to find this video.
@@JanJan-pq4im I'm happy you found us!!
Looks great and easy enough!! Thanks ya for sharing!!
No problem, thanks for the compliment!
thanks for the vid! I have to say I think corners would be much easier if you took a single tile, cut it in half, and butted the cut ends against each other in the corner. Less messing around and the tiles would be contiguous for a clean look.
That is one way you could do it!
What an Magnificent job , modern and cool feel.... subscribing
Thank you, I appreciate it!
@@fixitFlip very welcome
Wow, this looks so good! We will definitely do this after we finish our floor project. But dude I gotta check out the caulk video you referenced bc we need help, we made a caulk mess!!! Thanks for making this video!!! ❤️
Ha ha thanks! And yes, the silicone caulk can be a bit tricky if you've never used it!
"Ooooo mommy" 😂🤣😂 so cute!! Good job guys, you made it look so easy 👏 👍
Ha ha thank you! 😀
Looks great! I need to do this to my kitchen - thanks for the nudge in the peel & stick directiom bc the other options were too much cash (for me anyways lol)
Ha ha no problem, I hear ya on that one!!
Thx for this. Do you think steam in the bathroom could eventually affect the adhesive?
Mine has been up for more than 2 years now and I haven't seen any effect yet from hot showers. Having said that, I don't think I would put it directly above a bathtub or shower or somewhere where it would take a ton of water directly.
Looks really nice.
Thank you!
Amazing job I love it!
Thank you!
You're very good with the cawk
Ha ha thanks.
Looks like you guys had a great time. Nice video.
Yes, it was fun. Thank you!
Thank you !!!
I wish I could caulk like you do !
Thanks, glad I could help!
Best tutorial ever
Thank you!
Great example. Thanks for the tips!
No problem, thank you!
Beautiful 😍 I put them above my shower and in my kitchen
Thank you!
Wow, that is so pretty! Looks very expensive, too.
Thank you!
Highly informative and straight to the point! How's it holding up for you now that it's been over a year? Thinking about using the exact same color for my DIY bathroom renovation
It's been over a year and I honestly don't see much wear and tear. I'm sure I will start to see some eventually but it's all still holding firm!
@@fixitFlip is it easy to peel off? & do the adhesive damages the paint on the wall??
@@theemperor2017 I actually read online where somebody directly asked the company that and this was their response: "They are easy to remove with little to no damage, depending on the surface they were installed on. To make it easy, use a blow dryer to warm up each tile to soften the adhesive and pull softly starting with the corners. Use a cleaning product to wash the wall and remove any excess glue left by the Smart Tiles." Hope that helps.
Looks great!
Thank you!
Beautiful work ! I was wondering if this would work on the shower wall as an accent peice ? Thanks so much for the Video !
Thank you! I know that they will hold up to a decent amount of moisture, but I'm not sure if I would necessarily put them IN the shower, if that makes sense. That might be more than they could handle.
It came out great.
Thank you!
Nice! Looks good!
Thank u sir 👍🏻
Very very nice!
Thank you!
How have they held up 3 years later? I'm looking into installing those smart tiles to help my parents with a bathroom refresh
They honestly look exactly the same! Here's a little video update I did after 1 1/2 years: ua-cam.com/video/GBpgK_uwn74/v-deo.html
Hi I like your demonstration. I noticed that your level was yellow and it had Pittsburgh on it. Are you from Pittsburgh. I have lived in Pgh. All my life.
Hi, thanks. No, not from Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh is just an affordable brand of tools sold at Harbor Freight.
Are tiles durable enough to wash with out damage or cracking?
Mine have been up for over 3 years with no issues!@@bargeld09
Clean, cheap and neat
Thank you!
Very good ideas, is this the same for marble, pvc, or metal peel and stick tiles?
I have never tried those types. Sorry!
Love this!
Thank u!
That's beautiful and the one trick i learned (may be common sense to some) was how to stick then pull off the backing!
Thank you!
Awesome video! Thanks man!
No problem, thanks for the compliment!
Great job! Did she do her nails knowing they would be on the video? :)
Ha! I don't think so but it's pretty funny now when I see that!

How gorgeous!
Thank you!
Looks fantastic 👏
Thank you, Paul!
Can I put these on top of wallpaper and are these good to hide, uneven walls thanks
I looked it up for you on the company's website. Here's all it says about wall paper:
What surfaces should I not install Smart Tiles on?
Smart Tiles cannot adhere properly to certain rough or porous surfaces. For example:
Porous wood
Relief ceramic tiles
Textured wallpaper
Unpainted gypsum
Inside of a shower
Floors
Countertops
Ceilings
Brick
Stone
Hope that answers your question.
great video! my question is, did the original vanity stick out into the doorway? or was that something you did?
The original vanity stuck out even farther into the doorway! I downsized the vanity and sink top to make more space but there just isn’t much space to work with!
How’s the tile holding up? I remember watching this when you first uploaded it but didn’t plan on adding a back splash, I’m going to remodel my camper soon and would like to know how it’s holding up so far. Thanks!
It's holding up really well, Brandon. No signs of peeling off at all yet. I take pretty hot showers so I've been wondering about the steam's effect on it. I was thinking about doing a video to show how it looks after 1 year. What do you think of that idea?
@@fixitFlip I think it’s a good idea, it would show people how durable peel and stick tile is after about a year, thanks for the update on the tile flip!
@@Brandon_Jackson No worries bro. Thanks for always supporting my channel!
If you would use blue tape on your countertop and possibly on your tiles and back mask both sides it would make your caulking so much faster and less clean up.
Yes, I actually used that trick with my bath tub recently. It did make things go pretty smoothly.
Thank you very much, that look really easy, can I purchase these at home Depot?
Thank you! Yes, you can. Here is the link for the product we used: www.homedepot.com/p/smart-tiles-Milano-Fabrini-11-55-in-W-x-9-63-in-H-Taupe-Peel-and-Stick-Decorative-Mosaic-Wall-Tile-Backsplash-4-Pack-SM1104D-04-QG/303839476

You’re welcome.
Thanks for sharing! Looks great!
No problem, and thank you!
Is this 100 percent waterproof? Say I wanted to use this for the bathtub walls after installing a shower attachment to the spout?
I think it's good for "some" moisture but I don't think I would put it in a shower.
Does the water effect it at all? We have tiles where the shower is and I'm wondering about replacing those with these sticker ones but I want to know it'll last!
Most of the reviews say they hold up to moisture pretty well, but you wouldn't necessarily want to put them IN a shower or anything like that.
Thank You 😊! Great video.
Thanks!!
Wow! Great job 🤗🤗
Thank you 😀
I gotta ask I’m sure it’s been a while now that you have installed these tiles, how are they holding up? Any issues or no?
They are holding up very well so far! I see no damage or peeling off the wall or anything like that. Maybe I will do a review video once they have been up for a year and show how it looks.
I once read they are not waterproof...does that mean it can damage the wall or do they come off easily? Coz behind the sink there is obviously going to b lots of splashes..
@@arshpreetghumman1328 I think they are fine over a sink. They can take some occasional splashing. Now I would not go putting them in a shower or anything like that where they get constant direct spray, if that makes sense.
Fix it Flip thanku so much....
What is the big graphic board you cut on top of? Is that the table or a top you can lay on a work table?
It's a cutting mat. My wife got hers at Joann Fabric but she said this one is very good. amzn.to/379YZgR
Does the wall behind need to be smooth? What if your walls are textured?
Yes, it would need to be smooth.
Looks just like my backsplash in my bathroom. I had ordered trim off of Amazon to finish mines out but never applied them due to not being able to figure out to cut the corner angles.
Cool, haven’t tried the trim yet.
I was wondering if they had finish type of edges for these!!
Thank you so much
No problem!

A poem I dedicate: "Real tiles are just as easy and most importantly they don't look cheesy!" I mean this in a nice way but install real tiles is REALLY easy. Every time you wash you hands your reminded you took a short cut. tiles $10 , tile glue $5, grout $5, tile scorer $5.. =$25 bucks.. pride in laying real tile ? Priceless. leave the stickers for kids and bumpers!
Thanks?
Thanks for the video where do you get those tiles from please
I got mine at Home Depot. Here is the link to them:
www.homedepot.com/p/smart-tiles-Milano-Fabrini-11-55-in-W-x-9-63-in-H-Taupe-Peel-and-Stick-Decorative-Mosaic-Wall-Tile-Backsplash-4-Pack-SM1104D-04-QG/303839476
What do you use to finish the edge of it that isn't in the corner?
There is nothing on those edges at all.
Any chance I can use these on a textured wall? I really don't want to scrape off paint or mud it if I don't have to.
Unfortunately they won't hold very good on textured walls. Not recommended.
I'd like do a backsplash on the top of the shower (where the shower meets the paint). Will the moisture in the air get behind these and create a problem with the glue?
I believe they will stand up to a decent amount of moisture but that may be too much to use right above the shower.
Very nice!
Thank you!

Yes, if they are smooth, non-textured tiles it won't be a problem at all.
Looks good but over time when people are in and out of the shower the adhesive wears out. You just have to re stick some new back splash or put tile.
