Smart Tiles cannot adhere properly to certain rough or porous surfaces. Looks just like my backsplash in my bathroom. I had ordered trim off of Amazon to finish mines out but never applied them due to not being able to figure out to cut the corner angles.
If you would use blue tape on your countertop and possibly on your tiles and back mask both sides it would make your caulking so much faster and less clean up.
They are holding up very well so far! I see no damage or peeling off the wall or anything like that. Maybe I will do a review video once they have been up for a year and show how it looks.

Every time you wash you hands your reminded you took a short cut. tiles $10 , tile glue $5, grout $5, tile scorer $5.. =$25 bucks.. pride in laying real tile ? Priceless. leave the stickers for kids and bumpers!

Any chance I can use these on a textured wall? I really don't want to scrape off paint or mud it if I don't have to.
Unfortunately they won't hold very good on textured walls. Not recommended.
