2:06 thanks for the tip on removing an avocado seed easily.
Great simple advice! Thank you! 🤗
Thank you so much for the very useful idea and it is very informative.
Thank you of your video about avocado. Im still practice about avocado planting.
Good day to you Mark !! 👍👍😁😁 Thanks for sharing When is an Avocado Ripe & Ready to be Picked from the Tree with us all today 😁😁👍👍
Hi 50shade have you become a flat earther yet? If not I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe. I got it in my about tab.
I love avocado 🥑 great information friend 😊
Excellent video! I plan on attempting soon to grow some avocado from pits I've saved, so this is timely information for me! 🥑💖
Avocados grown from seed will not grow true to the mother and take somewhere bewteen 10 to 15 years to fruit and may never fruit. Get a grafted avocado or plant the seed and then graft it yourself from a grafted avocado tree if you know someone who has one.
Thanks for the tips. 👍🏼😊
Thank you for your information when to pick my Avocados from the tree
Very informative. Thank you.
I wait for it to fall from the tree and everyday, morning and evening I check to see if any have fallen and those are always good avocados to begin ripening.
Thanks for the tip!
Hi Mark, that avo at 2:03 looked like the perfect specimen. If only we could grow em here in the UK. Years ago when I lived abroad as a kid in a country that had a very warm climate... my dad grew an avo tree from seed. He nurtured it, planted the seedling and took care of the plant until it was about 3 ft high and was just starting to form it's first fruit..... then we left and moved back to the UK. Aarrrggghhh - so we almost grew an avocado from start to finish. Cheers Adam
You can. Go to fast growing trees and buy the indoor, Condo Avacado Tree
Thank you was really helpful!!
Awesome and that look delicious
Love your videos!
We love your channel. My wife buys Avocados at the store as our climate won't let us grow them. They are not cheap and can get very pricey at times. When my wife buys several of them because of the price she can slow the ripening by putting them in the refrigerator. It allows us to use them as needed so that they don't over ripe before use. It really helps us during the winter. Sometimes the Avocados are so hard and take quite a bit of time to ripen, but usually within 5 days they turn quickly. We love them every morning in smoothies and sometimes at night in salads.

Thank you so much. Just plucked my very first avacodo. 😊
How long does it take for an avacoda to be mature enough to pick it starting from uts intial flower stage:?
very useful pointers. I live in Los Angeles and picked a few avocados from a giant tree from my friend's backyard. They feel kinda rubbery after keeping them on my kitchen counter for 5 days. Will get more later on using your tips. Good on ya, mate!!!

Clear, thank you.
awesome vid ty!!!
good info.
Thanks for the tips! I have three avocado trees here in Liberia and 10 more that I’m growing from seed. Here, the locals just harvest them when they look big enough, which usually works out. They seem to have a pretty large harvesting window and are pretty forgiving.
G'day Mark! Loved the video, the neighbors horses photo bombed your video..wish I could plant a couple of Avo trees here.God bless.

If you have a glut of avocados, you can make a chocolate mousse out of them that freezes like a dteam, and is sensational!
Thaks Mark for the video. Now my question, does avacado tree need to trees to pollinate or one tree is enough? Always enjoy the video you shared.
Educational but simple video . Love it mate , but my avocado tree is so tall , yours are easy to pluck .

Now this is called a true info., as I was not expecting the perfect ending, I just thought he will end up his speech by showing the raw avocado in his whole video.
I so love ❤️ avocado 🥑. I eat one daily.
I have a hoss in my yard. Harvested over 100 avocados last year. Those are the ones the squirrels didn't get. This year so far I have 4 on the tree. Lol
Thanks for this video. I planted my tree four years ago, and this is the first time it is loaded with avocados, and now I don’t know what to do.🥺
Thanks for the video mate.
How long can the pickable avocados stay on the tree before they go bad?
Thanks for the video. Quick question for you. When you remove an avocado from the tree, do you cut the stem at the top of the fruit? at the top of the stem nearest to the branch? in the middle of the stem? or does it really matter where? Thanks
Looked into getting a t-shirt but I live in U.S. Perhaps in the future as they'll never go out of style.
Hi waltersherwood have you become a flat earther yet? If not I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe. I got it in my about tab.
Thank you.
Do you have to support narrow branches that have an Avacado growing on them, or is that not needed ?
I have two trees in half wine barrels, they have about 7 big fat avos between them, I hope I can pick them at the correct time
That smile at 00:52 :)
I have 2 grafted avo trees. I cut a branch off one to get a main centre trunk. It’s doing well and is quite tall. The other also looks to have a branch that I could remove. It’s looking more bushy though and I have staked it and have them tied to this stake. The branches don’t look as strong as the other tree. Should I take off the weaker branch?
Hi Mark, what varieties of avocado do you grow?
sir how many months we can harvest from flowering?
I live in the Caboolture area. What is the best way to grow an avocado. Type, grafted / non grafted, grow from seed? Thanks,
which avocado varieties can be grown in a hardy conditions (dry hot areas, salty clay soil) ??
Mark what mulch do you use?
Morning 🤗😍
Is their a month that is best for picking
You can put then on tup of the refrigerator they be ready faster or you can wrap them in the newspaper and put them in your oven they will be ready fast too take care
I have tried the oven tip plus paper bag. Neither worked for me with hass variety.
Its September and i have big avacados and do wanna waste any . When should i start picking now?
Hi i grew a Avocado tree from the seed its about 3.5 years old and is now fruiting is it true that you should wait till the 3rd season before eating the Avocados i was told that the first lot should not be eaten
Hello! I’m in the US… I have a tree variety that is ready to pick in late fall. Does frost affect the fruit? I would love to leave them on the tree and only pick as needed.
I wish I had the issue of how to ripen avocados!! Here in Melbourne I can’t say I see many trees around 😜
Hi kateymateymusic have you become a flat earther yet? If not I suggest watch a 13 part series called _What on earth happened_ by Ewaranon to learn that the earth is not a globe. I got it in my about tab.
How long can you can avocados on the tree for?
I only have one avocado on my tree. Wish me luck
Haha, this is all well and good, but my tree only has 2 avocados on! If I pick one and it's not ripe I risk missing out on half of my crop! I think they're getting close though. I'm assuming it's normal for a tree to only produce a couple in it's first year of fruiting?
Pick it up raw and hard and put the avocado fruit under the warm blanket for 3-5 days to perfectly ripe
How long does it take avacoda to ripe all over from intial stage of it being a flower to be big enough to pick it ,?
Will an avocado that fell from tree too early ripen? Half the size of usual mature fruit. Another 2-3 months.
My avocado trees is like 4 years old.....its black long avocado with thin skinny.....I tried cutting at different stages to ripe.....but there are really hard on inside they dry hard does my tree need something I dont know vitamins...please can you help me........they dont repen like a regular avocado...
Wish I could grow them here.

what type of avo is that Mark? we have Fuerte, from the one tree we get 200+ every year, they have a thin skin and the rule of thumb we were told is its ready to eat when its softer than your nose and firmer than your cheek. we pick them when the stalk starts to darken.
True
I need your help I am growing an avocado seed in my kitchen window in a jar and I just need to know when the seed is ready to plant also how do you plant it?
Stick them directly in soil instead of putting them in a jar.
The avocado tree looks small and is already producing fruit. How old is the tree?
Thanks for sharing.
Grafted avocados can fruit as quickly as within two years. This one for sure is grafted.
Hello how are you doing today I hade a question I have tried growing pineapple in many different ways but none of them worked not even your way I did exactly step by step as you said can you please answer my question thank you
Maybe try them inside first to see if you can get them rooting in a small bowl with some water and then try planting out. Best of luck! :)
I want a video on keeping the tree short so Avocado’s can be picked. My tree is 20 feet tall.
Good day sir. I have an avocado tree in my backyard. Can you teach me how to grow faster may avocado tree. It is almost 3 feet now since i planted it.
Self Sufficient Me
How old is this tree in the video ? Looks really small . Just curious
Mark, do your avocados drop their leaves every year? My Avo tree, some leaves are turning yellow and is dropping. Is this normal or is it getting sick?
Mine too! Mark, help!
@@KatieERA Hi Katie, Some of mine do this every year. I think it may be normal, as the leaves just get replaced. Doesn't seem to affect the tree. Maybe part of its normal growth cycle?
Hi, I saw your comment on Sunny Lenarduzzi's video on the 7 UA-cam hacks that work and thought to say hi and give your channel some love. I loooooooooooooove avocados. In Brazil they are huge. In Germany they are tiny. I think the one in your video is about the medium size. Stop by one of my videos and say hi, especially if you like to get inspired, motivated or just want to laugh with me and my daughter. You are definitely invited. ;-)

Better way to check for ripeness without bruising the fruit if it’s not ripe yet. Hold in you hand with the fruit up right. Where the stem entered into the fruit use your thumb while holding the fruit. Put your thumb where the stem entered and push it down a bit the ripper the fruit the easier to push the flesh in. This has never failed me yet. So when the shops have 2-$5 bucks or those kinds of deals I can get one for now and one for later. If you can’t push the flesh in at all don’t get it. It’ll take weeks to get ripe. I get one that is slightly soft, and one that’s very soft. Especially if I’m using one within a couple days. Then the others ready in about a week. My wife likes them with her chicken anything. If you only use half of one. Leave the seed in and in a container or sandwich bag of water make sure it’s under the water. No air getting to it and it will give you 2 or 3 days before it goes brown to eat it. I usually use that one and make like a spread out of it. Just smash it up with a fork.
Never squeeze or poke an Avocado! End of story. When the stem butt is loose and wiggly insert a toothpick next to it. If it goes in without the end pricking your finger. Bingo. If not you havnt ruined your Avo.
