    Makes you wonder how acupuncture was first discovered like
    "Bro i need you to stab me with this needle!"

      😂😂 that is actually an interesting topic. I guess it started from acupressure. Then someone thought it would be a good idea to go deeper…😅 I have no idea to be honest.

      Thanks for the comment! Hm, penetrating the skin doesn’t hurt at all, but when she reaches some muscles it can be kind of weird. Like a cramp or a wave of pain runs down the muscle in an instant. I wouldn’t say that it is terrible altogether.

    Is the redness around the needles normal?

    • @michanasmrchannel7298
      @michanasmrchannel7298  2 роки тому +18

      Hey! Yes, according to the specialist that is what shows that blood-flow is faster around those areas. That is what makes acupuncture effective, making small injuries to the muscles so blood flow speeds up in those areas, helping the muscles loosen up (releasing cramps by getting more oxygen/blood). This is according to her, not me😜
      So she actually said “yay, it’s getting pink/red”😅

      She is really proud of her work, also teaching it. She told me that the thickness of the needles differ by country, but that is all I know about it (I am the patient only). What makes it different from the Japanese way? Maybe I can ask her and she could answer any question.

      @@randyclere2330 Yknow, theres not just a set way to do things, there are different approaches, and for you to call someone you dont know, and are unfamiliar with their approaches seems a little disrespectful no?

    without gloves?

    • @michanasmrchannel7298
      @michanasmrchannel7298  Рік тому +2

      She disinfected both her hands and my back so I guess there was no reason to wear gloves. She doesn’t cut/ there is no blood so I think it is fine without gloves.
      I am not sure, but probably at hospitals etc. they wear gloves for their own protection when they take a blood sample. Here there was no risk, not to mention that we personally know each other for many years now.

      The skin doesn’t. When it hits the muscles and she is twisting it around it can be a bit painful for a moment.

    Does this hurt or is it just relaxing?

    • @michanasmrchannel7298
      @michanasmrchannel7298  2 роки тому +14

      Hello! Thanks for the comment! When the needles penetrate the skin, it’s basically nothing. But they need to reach the muscles, and when she spins it around and pumps it, that can hurt a bit inside. One time I had pain run through my whole spine muscle (whatever it is called😂). But it’s like 5% hurts a little, 95% doesn’t hurt. Altogether, it is kind of relaxing. If you do it regularly and you are not nervous when she does it, then it is definitely relaxing!! Also, as the lady explained, it is not some magical stuff, it is about creating micro injuries in the muscles that start the blood flow in the cramped areas, and it helps to “restart” the muscle. It does work, she fixed my neck last time (I couldn’t turn my head lol).
