@@tishapatatoes9751 My doctor asked me if I work out my abs a lot because my abdominal muscles were so strong she could hardly feel anything else lol. I was like, “uh nope.”
This is incredibly related to mental health, a lot of people with trauma, escalating up to PTSD, experience chronically tense muscles. Relaxing is hard and it feels "vulnerable." :(
I would definitely need this. I went to a chiropractor because of pain in my jaw and when he was feeling my bones he asked me if I’d ever been in any accident and I said “ no but I have anxiety 😃 “ basically I’m so tense and tight that my spine is slightly crooked while my neck is completely straight that it messes with the whole balance in my body. Gotta see the whole picture! This video gave me some thought about what I could do to relieve tenseness thank you 🙏🏼
No joke, buy one of those massage guns and use it on the base of your skull at the top of the spine. You don’t need it SUPER strong (you don’t want to be jackhammering your neck or anything) but just strong enough to force your neck muscles to relax some. I get HORRIBLE migraines that nothing can fix but since I started trying this, it’s actually given me immediate relief that lasts. I’m pretty sure I’ve got spinal stenosis (runs in my family) and it would explain the migraines I get from time to time.
I find these videos so interesting because when I look at Twix's face, I don't see any asymmetry. When they point it out I'm like "hmm, I guess I can see a little, but it's barely noticeable". It just goes to show how our perception of our own faces differs from what other people see.
It's also because nearly everyone has asymmetrical features! It's very normal for things to be slightly misaligned, so usually it takes over analyzation to see. :>
I’m addicted to these videos at night. They help me fall asleep haha. But also it makes me so jealous of all the pampering she gets all the time. I would love to have this done and seems so calming and she's so gentle as I get a lot of stiffness and tension in my head and neck. For those leaving negative comments. She isn't trying to make her symmetrical in terms of for beauty it's to releive the tension it is causing on one side of her face, head and neck to relive pain.
When one side of your neck is visibly shorter than the other, it's a serious issue. Our muscles slowly tense up and get stuck that way over time, and if one is worse it usually means there's something particular you do or that happened on that side to make it so much tighter, you need release, you may not even realize what kind of pain you're in until you get that. Pointing out imperfections is not always a bad thing--it's not rude to see someone who just rolled their ankle and say 'it's swelling up, we'll need to get that fixed'
Saw this in my recommendations saw the whole entire thing and subscribed it was very calming and relaxing and I even did some of the movements with my hands on my face and I am relaxed! Look forward to more of your videos gorgeous!

Same. She wouldn’t even try to fix me.
Hiya! I just wanted to say that I think you’re GORGEOUS!!! Or Handsome!! Or just....A BEAUTIFUL PERSON! And uhm...that’s all! 😁✨🌸
Everyone's are, really. It has more to do with posture and the pressure we put on our neck than most people think.
Me too. My face is lopsided as hell XD
Is anyone else’s body always tensed up and you don’t even realize it because that is your natural state lol? It is unbelievably difficult for me to relax my muscles. I have to consciously remind myself to relax my shoulders, back, etcetera... because I don’t feel natural in a relaxed state. I guess that’s what stress and anxiety will do to you lol. I wish I could get these treatments!
I have huge shoulder muscles which make me look like the hunchback of notre dame because i tense them up constanlty
I’ve had a lump in my shoulder from tense muscles sense I was 11 so yeah I get it
@@tishapatatoes9751 My doctor asked me if I work out my abs a lot because my abdominal muscles were so strong she could hardly feel anything else lol. I was like, “uh nope.”
@@heather7862 lmao same theyre Always like damn you work g a lot huh and im like No im just really stressed and have bad posture
This video gave me some thought about what I could do to relieve tenseness thank you 🙏🏼
You can really see how trained she is at how nimble her fingers are at finding the acupuncture trigger points. That’s awesome!
I need this so bad. My neck gets unreasonably tight and I get these horrible migraines coming from the back of my head and pushing to the front.
Same im always so tense 💀
if u go to a good chiropractor they could probably fix that, a lot of pple who get their neck or back adjusted have their migraines go away
I advice you to massage, bend and stretch those areas. To help release stress on the muscle
Go to a chiropractor plus practice good posture that the most important part. I did that and now I barely have migraines like I used to
No joke, buy one of those massage guns and use it on the base of your skull at the top of the spine.
If a face is too symmetrical, (most) humans actually stop finding it pretty and start getting creeped out by it
I wish we had this type of service in my city. It looks sooo relaxing!
Same!
I’m addicted to these videos at night. They help me fall asleep haha. But also it makes me so jealous of all the pampering she gets all the time. I’ve always been fascinated by Japanese culture since I was like 6 years old so one day I’ll go an I’m gonna pick the places from here I wanna visit to get amazing, gentle and respectful massages. Thank you for sharing these!
I do not know why youtube suddenly recommended your entire channel to me, but I do know I shall sleep
😃😃
this seems like it would be great for sinus pressure and tension headaches as well!
It’s so nice of them to let you film during the procedure! ❤️
This is my absolute favorite video to fall asleep to lately. I tried watching your other videos (which are amazing as well, thank you for your hard work!) but I always seem to come back to the sound that the tool she's using on your jaw makes. Happy tingles everyone 💕
I feel like this would help so much with my TMJ and bruxism pain and tension, I wish I had something like this available where I live.
Me too. My right side of the jaw is just brutal. It is from trauma and chronic stress
@@pluutoop I wasn't even able to sleep because of the pain, back in December I got Botox in the masseter and temporal muscles as a recommendation from my dentist and I can't begin to describe the relief. The dentist said it has to be done every 6 to 8 months and even though the first application was quite painful, I'd still do it again to get that long term relief, since we don't have those massages here.
@@alejandraserrano9708 omg! I was thinking of getting Botox in the same spot but I was told that my neck would lose its ability to hold it's self up. So I got scared. Can u tell me your experience please that would help a lot 🙏
@@pluutoop I had no problems or side effects whatsoever, make sure you look for a certified doctor. The only thing I noticed is that my jaw looked a bit more defined after a week or two, the dentist says that it's because you don't have a toned muscle anymore, so you don't get those tiny bumps. It's been great, if you can and are able to get a good doctor to apply it, I'd say go for it!

I love your Japanese service videos, especially when the specialist talks through the procedure. Your videos inspired me to visit a Japanese spa here in NYC.
Glad you like them!

I don't think I'd have the self-confidence for someone to analyze my face and point out every little thing that was wrong, and yet I'd probably still do this. I suffer from migraines and it seems like this procedure might alleviate pressure in the head.
Watching this to try to relax as a migraine is starting and im thinking the same thing
@@flouncymom I take sumatriptan then rub bengay on my forehead and back of neck. Taking an antihistamine helps too. Hope you feel better soon!
@@Yellow-Rose great minds, as they say. LOL I took sumatriptan and an antihistamine. And Voltaren on the back of my neck and shoulders. Didn't stop it but maybe it kept it from being a 10? It's still hanging out. Had them for 38 yrs and I've yet to find anything that works 100%. Frustrating to loose 2-3 days of your life, isnt it? I will try the bengay, tho. Thanks for the tip!
@@flouncymom Thank you. I'll see if I can get some voltaren. I always love exchanging little tips and tricks with other migraineurs. Migraines are a beast! Wishing you as many painless days as you can have. 🌼
@@Yellow-Rose aren't you the sweetest? Thank you. Yes, migraines ARE the worst! Sadly, I passed it onto my older son. He's only had 2 in 3 yrs, but they were doozies. It is incredible the detailed (and polite) ways she shows the unique shape of your face (no one is perfectly symmetrically). Its also very impressive that the work with massage and pressure changes the appearance. Hope you're having a good time.

Me: thinking how bad I would look from all those angles while you look like Sleeping Beauty
🥺🥺🥺
I just realized she actually does look like a Disney princess though, especially with her cheekbones. I think she has a similar calm demeanor to Sleeping Beauty:)
@@alyssahayes268 I think it’s also the positioning of her facial features. they compliment each other so well it’s almost magical!
Something interesting I found out in my anatomy class was that whatever hand you are dominant with is usually the shoulder that is raised higher. If u check in the mirror you can see that one is higher it’s pretty cool
@Gray El entrenador Pokémon lol tru
I read that it was because of school that that happens. You’re raising your arm to write at a desk for 12+ years, and then you continue to sit at a desk for your job for years. By the lives we have now we’re slowly ruining our bodies. We should def go back to a simpler lifestyle IMO.
@@samanthadelahunt3698 you would have similar muscular imbalances in a "simple" lifestyle. Drawing a bow, swinging a hammer, hand sewing. Nearly all tool use had a left/right handed preference which is what leads to such issues.
It seems like a mix of acupressure and chiropractic work. Using the tool to help adjust things. It's really amazing to watch!
This reminds me of lymphatic drainage massages! I notice if I massage consistently during skincare my face always looks better the next day. I wonder if I can get this done by a professional!
You can massage your face, do buccal massage, vacuum cup etc and it will improve so much and help with dis balance and tension!! Can 💯 recommend it 🎉
I would love to have this done and seems so calming and she's so gentle as I get a lot of stiffness and tension in my head and neck. For those leaving negative comments. She isn't trying to make her symmetrical in terms of for beauty it's to releive the tension it is causing on one side of her face, head and neck to relive pain.
When I say tension I mean the muscles been tense caused by the nerves.
I find her soft voice so soothing 🖤
I wonder if the difference seen is due to lymphatic drainage and muscle relaxation? Looks very relaxing.
If I had to pay for this, trust me I would convince my eyes to notice a difference 😂
lol
Yes that's exactly what it is. Chiropractors and massage therapists do the exact same thing.
Lymphatic drainage doesn't exist. It's utter nonsense created to get money from people like you.
@@YTpajamas 😐you're real smart

I think we're all thinking that!
Me too 😭😭😭😭 but everyone is asymmetrical, this girl is extremely symmetrical though
LOL I feel like this too, I'm actually asymmetrical
Lol yeah pretty much lol
🤣
Faces of course are never symmetrical! So to anyone who felt kinda insecure watching this just remember that no one's face is naturally symrectial and our brains rarely register the slight defferences! You face is perfectly normal and beautiful!
BRO. This calmed my anxiety so much
My dentist did this once but just in the back of my head to relieve my tension so I would stop clenching my teeth wrong XD it’s so nice to have the pressure released.
this woman is probably the most relaxed on the entire planet
The japanese language is so beautiful, no matter what they say they always sound so polite, and most are! I wish I could speak it but ik I dont have the motivation for that 😂 it's also rlly soothing
It would be cool if you included like a before and after clip at the end of videos like this, so we can see the difference more easily 😁 I think it'd be interesting-- at least to me haha!

This is one of the best ASMR videos I know of. It brings me peace I can feel in my chest, my heart beats slower and I feel more relaxed. I don’t watch it, just put in my headphones and listen while I work.
Not gonna lie. I'm floored that just poking around like this does anything, much less demonstrably works. Incredible.
When the lady is using the tool you can hear it clicking, is it just pushed against the skin or does it retract slightly? How much pressure do you feel? Thank you for sharing I’ve not seen this kind of thing before it’s very interesting! 🙂
mm it was quite pressure on my head, but not in my face. you know skull is like a puzzle it has joint parts and by pressing between joint you can do anything you want. I mean shaping, adjusting.
It's an activator, it's a chiropractic adjustment tool.

for STARK contrast; saying something like that in USA would result in heavy accusations of being called X Y Z and being insulted and blah blah blah

i fear i'll never see all these amazing places before its too late
a TON of archaeological finds in the middle east being extremely prominent and high on my bucket list... being targeted indirectly by bombs and war, as well as intentionally by isil or bitchbois in rags.
as well as a LOT of countries that simply hate america and americans and honestly i do NOT blame them... from how the media portrays us... to how our government assassinates our regular citizen's personality before anyone ever gives a person a chance
what's worse is my gross inability to learn other languages no matter HOW HARD I TRY
so i can at least try to mask being from america to avoid instant hate, persecution, ridicule, further hatred, potential kidnap, and at worst, a big red target on my back and head for forever sleep.
i weep for the time our world is currently in and my shitshow performance in this play we call life.
how i wish i could just travel the world and learn... everything i can before the final curtain call.
