You're so adorable. The coworkers must love spending all day with your friendly personality!
They are declining to respond 🤣
The waterdisplacement method is as brilliant as i wish it was obvious! I was about 18 years ago old when i needed this wisdom!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge

Great videos!!
Amo o vidro marmorizado! .... incrível ! 💚🌻
Wow what a amazing talent you have
Tabitha, Tabitha, Tabitha! So creative! I love watching pattern bar videos because even when you plan them out, you often get good, unexpected surprises. Even when the results are not quite what you wanted, you can cut them and make a new creation. The possibilities are literally endless! My mind was racing thinking of all of different uses for those pieces you had at the end. Thank you, thank you! During these challenging times, you have definitely helped keep my mind busy and happy! 😁👍💕
Wish I could spend all day with you and the amazing and beautiful creation you make!
Thank you
Thanks!

Did you describe the making of the colorful bar at 22:45? It looks like an all frit melt but the streakiness of the blues has me baffled. WONDERFUL tutorial. Cheers!
Yes, it is described in the video, all the pattern bars that are on the photos at the end are made in the video so you can see how you can make them.
Loving that water displacement method! Thank you.

Hello Tabitha and thank you very much for sharing your ideas and knowledge, I'm really inspired by your videos. I don't recall seeing the 'tree' in the results. How did it turn out?
She said, i think, It looked like a stag, which it really kind of did!
I was in-tree-g'd by the idea too! Watched the end twice, so i shared what i learnt!
i love your work im a flint knapper i make arowwheads out of obsidian which is volcanic glass would i be able to melt down my left over cuts an flakes like glass ?
I honestly don't know. The glass I use is made specifically for this purpose and the melting temperatures a known for it (Bullseye and Oceanside glass). It is also a question of impurities that can explode in the kiln. Sorry, I just don't have an answer for you.
Thanks Tabitha, you always have great videos!
I read somewhere that you need to buff the saw cuts or you will get a haze after firing the cut bars into a piece. Do you do this or not find it necessary?
Also, how thin do you cut your slices?
I grind all the edges and then also add put a layer of clear powder on top of them as well.
I’m thinking of making a candy dish, with the tiny pieces similar to yours, but incorporating them in the middle & running up the side of the bowl, any suggestions before I start this project? Those pieces are amazing!
my advice would be to make sure your bottom piece of glass is evenly covered by the bits on top, try not to leave any gaps, even using frit to fill in the spaces between the bits. Other than that, enjoy and I would love to see the final result.
Thanks for the video. Can't wait to try it but I can't read the fusing schedule., it's too fuzzy. Please can you post it?
D John ok, can you email me info@glassbytabitha.com and I I’ll send the firing schedule. Many thanks Tabitha
@@TabithasGlassEmporium Hi Tabitha,
Thanks for your video's I enjoy watching them.
Please could you share the firing schedule for the pattern bar & pot melt as I was unable to see it on the video as it was fuzzy.
I have only recently stumbled upon your videos and am so impressed with your work and your creativity. I want to learn more and have subscribed.
Please share, how may times can you retire glass? For example, the pattern bars, can they now be combined in various designs to fuse and create a new image? Or, is there a limit to how many times you can fire the same piece of glass? Thanks so much.
Oh, I aim to please ;) Glad I managed to make you laugh. Hope you had lovely holidays.
Hi Tabitha, my partner and I love your work. We'd like to know what your firing schedule is for pattern bars. We've only had a kiln for a month now.
NativeCalifornian64 I think it’s at the end of the video, normally all schedules are there
Thank you for this video. Do you need to use some type of resist on those stainless steel bars?
No, you will get a bit of glass that sicks to them boy any resist you use would end up in the pattern bar which would be bad
@@TabithasGlassEmporium thank you
Tabitha, how many layers of glass do u use to make the pattern bars with
Really depends on how big abc how thick I want it
@@TabithasGlassEmporium when making glass puddles the high temp is 1500* and the stacked glass is 8 high. maybe 24 mm. but at that high of a fire the puddle spreads out ..i suppose i could dam it up. i havent tried that yet.. but i would like to try what u have been doing.
Yes you will need to dam them
could making puddles sort of work the same?
Yes, I don’t see why not
Thank you so well explained I understood exactly my brain must be wired funny
i will need to watch this a few more times.. can u give the weight in oz's and lbs ? Math isn my 1st,2nd or 3rd language.. but having a scale does help.. Happy Easter!

@@juniorthomson5972 thank u.. i just re watched this..
1g of water is equal to 1cm3 volume. Just weigh your water out the mould and use that weight as your volume for the rest of your calculation. 👍🏻
omg you are so funny lol
