Good point. Imagine if all the books and encyclicals ever written in the Catholic Church can be presented to us using AI such as Chat GPT. We can have access to all these information seamlessly and engaging manner. And, it's better for people to gain true knowledge from Catholic developed AI platforms than being being fed by fake news.

I don't agree. It's not pro-poor. All data verification can be done like how it is done manually, no need to use these technologies. It's easy to say "it's okay to use these but just use it responsibly." really easy for people and the clergy to say that when they are not actually part of the development of these technologies. I work in a tech company leveraging AI, just don't.
I don't think this is the right platform either to make such a bold statement like this. There are so many nuances and things that needs to be considered. AI is too broad and has lots of use cases and to present it in such a manner will be leached by people who wants to take advantage. I suggest you pull this video down and present it in a scholarly manner with experts talking about it instead of opinionated clips.

They're making me uneasy and are not engaging the faithful in a positive manner I think.
Can you give some examples please? I would like to research the matter, if I can.
I'm conflicted. I'm all for embracing technology and its advancements but to totally copy a person and pass it off as the real thing is totally terrifying. It can be misused. Things can be misconstrued. If people were to start listening to AI versions of someone instead of the real person himself, people will be following something false and not genuine. Its not right.
Good thinking. One frustrating feature that might have been corrected on some levels is that unintended words popped up sometimes and seemed to replace the intended word(s) typed, swyped or spoken. Another frustration is that some words and/or symbols used have different meanings to different people, which is probably a problem with communications in general, like the Titanic to the Californian. And so the intended meaning is misconstrued/ misunderstood. Whether deliberate or accidental such misinterpretations or misrepresentations with regard to Church teaching should be dismissed as inaccurate and corrected, which the Church has always done. Christ's one holy Catholic and Apostolic Church has carefully studied many matters for centuries through, with, and in the power of the Holy Spirit, Who is not going to stop guiding us now.
For the algo
I use AI because I want to discover how to communicate effectively and succinctly. Even though I can write papers, crafting an email or a presentation idea of some sort is rather difficult, even if I plan out the logistics. Using AI helps me to see what is missing or what I may be over explaining.
It’s a brainstorming tool that can help me to communicate with those around me, especially given how my generation doesn’t know how to communicate face to face anymore. In that regard AI can be helpful in teaching us to seek those human connections.
I must emphasize that AI *does not* replace human connection, but it can be a tool to help us to value the dignity of the people around us, which is what God wills. Often times we don’t think how are actions influence or affect other people. AI can help us to start thinking about the bigger picture and not be bogged down by details. It’s essentially like a calculator but for communication.
Pope Francis is the greatest pope ever because he embraces science and technology. The other popes were afraid of scientific advancement and just wanted to keep us in the dark ages (Pope Paul & the pill)
