"There are no unhappy accidents. Everything is fixable." I'm practicing digital painting and I finally did a piece I liked for once. The colors, the anatomy, everything. It was perfect. I was a bit over 2/3 done and I accidentally deleted it. All I have left of it is a screenshot I took when I was about 1/3 done. On top of that it was a Christmas request from a friend. I was so upset I literally cried. I even did a system restore and try to get it back...But it didn't work. So now I'm restarting and I have little to no motivation to start all over on my hard work. But watching you is making me want to do it again~ Thank you so much for making these videos! They're very calming and your words are encouraging!
This is my favorite of your videos. Perfect blend of visual, narration, palette sounds and voice volume level. Hits all the right spots for me. Good job!
This made me want to get back into painting. I was in a pretty bad car accident that left me partially blind in my right eye and it sent me into a depression where I just didn't feel like creating anymore. But seeing this made me realize how much I really do miss it and how much it impacted my personality. Ahhh I'll stop going on about myself but I just wanted to say I love your videos, having just found them, and I hope to see more. And thank you for the motivation to create again
My favorite part about painting is that mistakes can end up making it look even better in the end. You could end up adding something you would've never thought of putting in in the first place.
ButterShutter omg that's exaccctly what i was just saying in a video i was recording just earlier =D during painting a mountain :) I'm so glad you said that! Thanks =) Love me some synchronicity :'D!
Hey, I never got around to thank you. I moved to London in September, and I felt so lost and isolated because of the new environment. I came all the way from East Asia. Anyway, I painted back home, and I couldn't paint in LDN because I haven't got all my tools with me so I went on UA-cam for some Bob Ross loving and comfort. Stumbled upon your page - and that was my first ever experience with ASMR. I remember many nights of missing my family and eventually sleeping to your videos, feeling happy at the little jokes you make and the comfort you give with every painting. My anxiety attacks lessen, and I felt lots calmer after every video. Here I am, two months since then, and I'm feeling much better. Thank you for being wonderful, thank you for all the amazing paintings (damn they're amazing) and thank you for everything else. Love, Z.
Wow, fantastic! First experience with ASMR! Ahaha i'm glad you appreciate the little jokes i make =D and that u were finally able to get to sleep :) that's great
You are absolutely fantastic! I'm happy to find your channel but happier to know that you exist out there in the world, making pretty tingle-inducing paintings and looking like you wouldn't have it any other way.
I have been watching ASMR videos for years now and you are the first ASMRtist to give me tingles all the way through your video non stop. I think, for me its the rambling to yourself or perceived self that gives me tingles. This stems from being at school and sitting one to one with someone and letting them work stuff out for me while they ramble to themselves trying to work it out.
I see you're carrying on Bob Ross' legacy, keep it up man, it's great work. Actually no.. You're creating your own legacy. People should remember you for you.
Amazing work, I've never imagined painting with that kind of technique. And if I tried I would probably mess up very easily... You have an unique accent and all that, makes for good ASMR. Good job keep it up.
you would mess up very easily and fix it very easily, its a super forgiving method, its one of the things that makes it so nice to use! :D Try it out, you'll start to mess up less after a bit, and even enjoy messing u-p because it gives you new insights, not only learning from the mistakes, but seeing things you wouldn't have otherwise seen had you not 'messed up' Cheers :) (&thanks for the compliments:))
Heheh :) Thanks!! Oo I have a few whispering painting videos on mah channel at the moment :) perhaps not fully/all whispering but y'know! Enjoy ;) & Thanks for the feedback!
I've seen your videos and think your an awesome painter. I don't get into the ASMR thing and was excited to hear what your saying as opposed to you whispering. I'd like to see more of that. Keep up the good work. Thanks
Let us hope that Bill Alexander and Bob Ross are watching-with Bill ranting something or other thick accent and all and Bob whispering approvingly. You did that proud, I believe.
lol i was wondering wtf was going on for a second with the second camera moving below. Thought you had a camera strapped to your foot or some shit lol. Then i read the description.
+Gee Lippold Wet on dry C: The base should be dry when you layer, especially with knives. Though it might still scrape in some color, it's cleaner and comes out nicer if it's wet on dry than wet on wet!
I have watched a few of your videos now and noticed mostly Bob Ross, if I may...have you ever watched the man who taught Bob Ross? William Alexander. I think it would unique to one day combine both techniques into a painting, there styles may look and feel the same but trust me, there is a slight difference. either way keep up the good work mate, happy painting, and god bless. :)
Yeah, I have, they're both great :) You should try it then! Combine them both, you can do it! Especially as you think it would be unique - which it would!! =D Go for it, happy painting, and god bless :')
less voice. more brush. unless my earbuds are screwing up, his voice is way to loud in my opinion. that is, if indeed this vid was suppose to be targeting the asmr brushy sounds
man, little did I know I missed the palette knife ASMR train by six years at least... (- I know: there was Bob Ross, and before him was Bill (William) Alexander...)
it's been 8 years since i first saw this but i still keep coming back to it
same!
I could almost hear Bob Ross laughing and saying "just beat the devil out of it".
:)
That's the perfect motto to live life by. Haha
THE KNIFE SOUNDS on the pallette are just stunning. Glad you did a video of just that. Amazing. Hope you come back to your channel soon

:( How did it go? Was it still as good?
+Noah Van Brabant The lineart looks alright but I can't get the coloring to look as good again... :((
Keep going :)
an actual god of asmr and founder
This is my favorite of your videos. Perfect blend of visual, narration, palette sounds and voice volume level. Hits all the right spots for me. Good job!
David Brezing Too bad he quit doing UA-cam.
This made me want to get back into painting. So did you start creating again eventually? :)
André Geuze Thanks for asking! I have, I've made a lot of pieces and I actually do it for a career now :')
Oh wow that's great to hear! Well enjoy it and don't give up on your dream!
I'm only 45 seconds into this video, and im pretty sure this guy is a reincarnation of Bob Ross haha Love it mate.

Gary Day ty :)
The spiritual successor to Bob Ross! I am impressed!
How come he doesn't make videos anymore? Does anyone know?
He was arrested for murder
He was likely harassed and couldn't handle it, so he quit.
Ah, if I could paint like that you'd never get me away from the canvas.
***** Oh and you can! Practice makes purple :3
Really!!
***** Hahaha then I guess I shall go make purple. ^-^
The thing is, Brad probably could never be taken away from the canvas so now he can paint like that
so can i watch you on the create channel or something or are you making videos cause you're really good at this.
Bob Ross Jr. I want to get into painting but I can't afford equipment. :'( but someday I will :D Great video!! Very inspiring.
Let us hope that Bill Alexander and Bob Ross are watching-with Bill ranting something or other thick accent and all and Bob whispering approvingly. You did that proud, I believe.
do you use the bob ross kit?
so much talent
:3
You can do it too!
How much does a blank canvas run you? Any starter kit recommendations? Thanks
lol i was wondering wtf was going on for a second with the second camera moving below. Thought you had a camera strapped to your foot or some shit lol. Then i read the description.

I like it!
Thank ya hun! :)
On my landscape speedpaint channel I use Oils, what's your favorite medium? Great job btw, keep it up!:)
Wow...just wow.
Wait, so there's shade on the left face of rhe mountain but the sun is behind it?
Alternate dimension where the laws of physics don't apply
are you using a wet background? wet on wet? My knife always seems to grab the color of the base and it becomes so shitty. any tips?
+Gee Lippold Wet on dry C: The base should be dry when you layer, especially with knives. Though it might still scrape in some color, it's cleaner and comes out nicer if it's wet on dry than wet on wet!
"I've already covered the base in liquid hwite"
Lol?
Hi I'm brad ross. love this man

Reminds me of Bob Ross. Everything from the style to the colors.
Oil I assume?
No more painting videos?
from how those mountains were coming. Seems you're using a dry canvas or incredibly thick paints.
Ok it does have magic white underneath but perhaps the canvas was drying out a little. Seemed that way.
