"That Grass" at 1 is not going to be the make it or break it for Paleo. We'd need reasoning to 3 for it to actually make a dent in the meta.
@SamiTheCannibal the bigger thing is that the deck falls apart if your opponent knows how to play against it. The strength of the deck is that a lot of people don't know how to actually play against it correctly. If you know it's big weaknesses you can prevent the deck from being able to build resources at all.

@@SamiTheCannibal I don’t actually think you need reasoning if you do the lvl 2 spam version with soldier dragon laundry and the new lvl 2 water aqua. You can play cards like morganite and grass to get the advantage.

The December format is gonna be crazy. I am absolutely going to play Malice once it comes out. It’s going to be fun, skill intensive, and a hard hitter. It’s going to be the best upcoming deck no question about it.
I come as one of the 4 Infernoble players to spread the word. Infernoble is now one of the only decks that has combo lines to play around and beat nibiru/board breakers with or without the Black witch/Fiendsmith engine while also being one of the cheapest decks to build currently (if you don't play Black witch/Fiendsmith) and if you want can absolutely play the Flame Swordsman support with it.

@@thelastgreninja if you want the flame swordsman variant Team COG has a few videos he did pre banlist and I don't think they played anything that got hit on the banlist. they have a few test hand videos to help people understand how to play certain hands.
for other variants i.e. Black witch or Fiendsmith I haven't seen any good videos on those.

I’m excited about grass being legal, I haven’t played since Tear format and a 60-card Tear/Kash/Bystial pile sounds pretty fun to throw together
Skill Drain to 1 won't stop me from playing stun, summoning a token with Sleipnir and tributing both for Tyrant's Tirade is a powerplay.
Blue eyes will soon be from zero to hero ... and you will put it in the top 2 tier list of yours

Yeah, that's one my favourite decks.
In my opinion Tearlament only needs Grass going 2nd. My reasoning is going 2nd a lot of the best strategies are already 5-10 cards deep and if you play a 42-45 card deck with some targets so you can make Phantom of Yubel and a small Fiendsmith engine your milling anywhere from 8-20 cards in a deck that keeps on shuffling back its most important resources and compressing itself. Now that Pilgrim Reaper is taking Beatrices' place your more likely to get a lot of great mills due to cards like Engraver and Phantom of Yubel existing.
I don't understand why Tri-brigade with the grass is greener magic card paired with that triple tactics thrust isn't being talked about

Memento got hit really hard on the banlist, it lost the smith as a 1 card combo and it lost beatrice meaning it dies to interuption easier
@@Forg0-Nan0 IT works without fiendsmith very well. And in rota IT get really good Support with akihiron and then IT can Ende in random dice smasher lock. And can get very very good.
Cali, you need to understand that ritual beast doesn't just have shifter or Protos, which yeah, they are crazy good this format, especially against every meta deck, ritual beast has an almost un loseable matchup against yubel, also it's great against tenpai, and against snake eye also. It can play quite a bit of non engine, usually plays board breakers, can otk, and going first you can still put up 2 Omnis, a banish, pop 2, and protos which pretty much deals with most of the things this format, it's way more than just can compete
What I wanna know is why they don't run Eschatos to screw over Tenpai. 😂
@@autobotstarscream765 because it's only good against tenpai, and protos does the same thing to tenpai by calling fire, eschatos can call dragon cus he's a dragon I think and other types are like psychic on the rest of the field and you don't wanna destroy them or waste a Lara in gy

For salad, alot weaker is an overstatement for playing around nib. Thats why charge is played. You add charge rather than rage, set roar from grave, and play with weasel to add afew more interrups. Then at the end you can set charge as an interrup cause if they nib, u just summon wolf or pheonix (whatever is there) on their turn
And if the format happens to not play Droll as much, saving Circle for a search (and weirdly enough for its second effect) becomes very good to play through interruptions. Tho, I'm only speaking from Master Duel experience. I know pretty much nothing in the TCG xD
Got a few decks I’ll be trying. Took a several year hiatus, so several were updated old decks. Melodious will probably be my most competitive deck, while my other two go to decks will be D/D/D and a rank 8 toolbox plant deck running Rikka, Therion Lily, and the Plant Princesses. Just wish we got back Glow Up Bulb to open back up the synchro options for my plant deck. The other two I’m running as more of fun options will be Fortune Ladies and Vampires

Gotta rep the old VW in the next list! Shenshen going first is pretty good and Crystal wing dragoon +/ mathmech sigma with chuche is a respectable board! It also dodges common hts this format like imperm/veiler/ghost mourner etc. Love the vids cali ❤
Yo how would you rank up mermail atlanteans these days? They can already make a solid end board with 2 or 3 toadally awesome, diva is a one card combo and there are alot of ways to search her, you can loop cards and minstrel can peek at the opponents hand and rip a handtrap uncontested!
No Labrynth mention, or traptrix mention.. but it was worth mentioning LUNALIGHT? Never forget plant synchro, but Lab gets zero mention is CRAZY.

I think a Branded Light + Dark Dragon build is likely going to take off. on test hands I can consistantly get out Mirrorjade w/ Light and darkness dragon w/ 2 remaining negates, typically with at least 1 card in hand or set reccursion card such as Screams.
Ritual beast makes their omni negate the same way they would have made apo. Doesnt lose to nib any harder than it did before
Actually ritual beasts can play around nibiru ,ppl use to forget that we have an in archtype not once per turn omni negate,we go into that now instead of apo ,it takes a good pilot yes bc theres so many different lines ,it can also play after nib if u have a good hand i had multiple games where i got nibed and still end on the trap, protos and the link 4 + follow up,the decks plus is that it is so versitile and can combo in so many different ways

To be quite honest the new Allure Queen engine coming out of the next that makes Chimera so much more powerful being able to copy a name of an equipped monster and get a free special 7 Level 7 with an additional level 7 from your deck or graveyard is insane
Play tear with a 45-50 cards if maining grass, 43-47 if siding. Play it going second. It's not a bad turn starter.
I can agree with plants being takes a good pilot since few people play the deck but it not getting hit again and a lot of endboard pieces and ftks gone, I think the deck can compete at least before the new set 🙃
yeah the rb one card combos cannot play around nib but it can play around it easly if you open elder+cannahawk/rampengu or other 2 card combos. Oh and btw it can also play around nib by simply making ulti gaiapelio.

Not really, still plays like solitaire most of the time
I've been playing Tearlament and to be honest given the mills I've been able to consistently get if all of the Tear cards were unlimited I would probably just play 3 Reinoheart, 3 Tear Kash, 3 Havnis, 2 Scheiren, 1 or 2 Merrli. You mill so much that if you play 3 of each Tear name you'll gain a miniscule amount of consistency and lower the value of your mills. Grass isn't at 3 yet so you can't really convince me that if all of the Tear names where at 3 that a 50 card version would be better than a 42-45 card version designed to take advantage of Grass as side deck card.
Going 2nd you can side Felis as a going 2nd option because it breaks boards, gives you more bodies for I:P into S:P, and allows you to mill more cards. I main deck 2 Felis and main deck 2 Weiss and 2 Charge because they fix my awkward hands and give me more mills. I play 2 Fenrir to search Tear Kash in place of the 2 Havnis' I don't have and to help me break boards going 2nd.
Because I play online for free I use the Fiendsmith engine and put 2 Spirit of Yubel and Yubel in deck as mills to make Phantom of Yubel without playing Nightmare Throne. I put 1 Needlebug Nest and 1 Transaction Rollback in it to. Everything I do with the deck is to make it almost as consistent and powerful as Ishizu Tear was and perhaps even stronger.
Me scraping the bottom trying to still compete with SwordSoul board breaker strategy…

A friend of mine plays Runic Exodia Fusion, it's scarily good but it's definitely got its flaws, I'd say "can compete" near the top can be its comfortable spot to vibe n OBLITERATE!!! The opponents.
Runick and Exodia Millennium have the same boss monster: S:P Little Knight. Grandpa's Deck needs no pathetic Fiendsmiths! 👴

Pretty sure floo just replace the 2 copies of pot of prosperity with 2 copies of pot of extravagance. The main good thing about them will be that they can play both fuwaross and dimension shifter come October and is affected by neither of them.
I made someone surrender when I played Tearlament. I had Caesar, Toad, Rulkalloss, Kaleido-Heart, Dragostapelia, and Keldo and Mudora in grave. I didn't have Dragostapelia but I was going to on my opponents turn because I had everything including my 1 of of Needlebug Nest and my 1 of of Transaction Rollback. Going first if you have Needlebug Nest and you get Transaction Rollback to grave your cooking because thats 10 mills on you opponent's turn in addition to Scream, Havnis, Tear Kash, and whatever else.

Still viable. Just not as poweful because Skill Drain and Prosperity went to one. Less consistency and less sacky.
Trap heavy lab lost 2 Skill Drain, but they didn't care about Prosp since Math Lab seems to be the thing atm (Pot of Duality does the job too). Hand trap Lab doesn't really need Pots since that means 1 less trap card you can see turn 0. The Yubel matchup is harder tho since we only have 1 Skill drain 😅...

Am I coping on Exosisters? I don't mean the Shifter aspect (althought it helps), but isn't Exosister Asophiel a lingering floodgate for any grave effect? With Arment and the lesser used xyz summon effect of returnia it's pretty consistent.
Centurion deck should add assault synchron into the deck . Free tuner summon, u can go into chengying or dis pater, also it has the effect to banish itself to bring back blazar dragon after it used its effect. So a double omni negate
i was so upset about branded fusion at 1, of all the things that actually NEED limited, branded was not doing well enough in tournaments to get hit so hard
@@andreatassieri478 For what it's worth this hit actually does very little to Branded in the grand scheme of things.
You can use something like TTThrust to fill in the slots while also just being good non-engine, play higher Bystial quantities so you have Saronir/Retribution lines for the return, or running Springans Kitt for a body & searcher that can recur even a banished BraFu.
I agree the hit is a bit late, but it won't harm the deck's endboard and only slightly inhibits its consistency.
@@dylanu1384Thrust is already part of the branded staple. From what I saw in Pak's post ban list adjustment, he bumped Branded in high spirits to 3. And he added more Bystials.
I think that Red Dragon Archfiend can still compete very well, but I’m biased
So many tier lists that just completely skip over Rescue Ace is a wild insane take. This is the 4th list today I’ve watched where RACE is even mentioned and that’s just utterly abysmal.

I feel like Lunalight Tiger is better with a engine in Tri-brigade or Fire King to turbo out a a rank 4 XYZ like Infernal Flame Banshee etc.
As a infernoid player I don't think the plan is to go beyond 50, because you only have one reasoning,one monster gate,one grass. I think the deck became a little better with grass and still has the handloop it can do.

The way I run it is as 60 card pile deck with snakeyes, fiendsmith, and the full infernoid package. It definitely has gas but you gotta think ahead of each move

I made a Dark World player rage quit with Tear and I did it without running Droll. They went first and they rage quit.
I think that not only does Lightsworn take a good pilot but requires alot of luck on your mills. You can have the best Lightsworn pilot in the world but if he gets bad mills it won't matter
