    when I ordered this on Amazon, me and my mom used it for the first time, and when we washed our hair with the Chi shampoo and conditioner. when my mom flat ironed her hair she was shocked and impressed by the way she looked, we definitely would keep using this.

    I love it , it doesn't wear the hair down and makes your hair stay straighter longer , and helps blend hair into weave flawlessly

    Ive been using silk infusion for over 10 years. Its my liquid gold. I only use the one product as its a heat protectant as well. You dont need all those products. Im in Australia and pay $60 for a bottle. I use after every wash on damp hair. I use a GHD hair straightener . It lasts a long time and hair keeps improving over time.

    • @SarahNaturally1111

      I planned on trying it out on it’s own next time so that’s good to know! I have a GHD but I wasn’t happy with it. I’ve bought another straightener recently as well lol

    Your hair is absolutely beautiful! It looks almost exactly like mine before you straightened it. I just started straightening mine too and got my first bottle of CHI silk infusion today as well. Talk about a gloss😳 I absolutely love it. I don't know if I'll ever go back to natural again, straight hair is so much easier to take care of. Loved your video... Thanks

    I would love to see you do this again but using only the Chi. And I would love to see you do a side-by-side with the Biosilk Silk Therapy. You're supposed to be able to use both products before blow drying and before the flat iron.

    You can add some body soft curls for just like the salon giving after you straightening giving some body and movement .
    You can choose curling iron not a wand to do this with lower heat setting if you flat iron higher heat.
    Why you don’t trying titanium plate flat iron instead ceramic ?

    • @SarahNaturally1111
      @SarahNaturally1111  Рік тому

      I don’t really like to add curls on the first day. I usually wait a week or 2. Yeah i have both a curling wand and iron that i use. They don’t sell the Babyliss one over here in the uk. They have others, but I’m not willing to try them out.
      Plus i read titanium is more prone to heat damage because it heats the hair on the surface, whereas the ceramic heats the hair from within and is more gentle. So I’ve been avoiding titanium, plus with all the hair loss I’ve been experiencing I’ve not been playing around too much with my hair, especially with heat. I straightened only once last year 😅

    I’m really late to the video and I’m going to straighten my hair for this winter. I was curious then so the tresseme heat protectant is good? And also did you wash the leave in conditioner before you added the silk infusion ?

    • @SarahNaturally1111
      @SarahNaturally1111  10 місяців тому +1

      Yeah I’ve never had a problem with the Tresemme heat protectant, i used a red one from them previously too which was ok too. I left the leave in conditioner in, i always use a leave in, some people say it’s unnecessary tho lol

      Oh do you mean the paddle brush one? I prefer that one over the red one. Both brushes don’t blow out smooth smooth but much easier than using a blow dryer and a brush separately. I recently bought a smaller version of the volumiser so i will be testing that out soon.

    • @SarahNaturally1111
      @SarahNaturally1111  8 місяців тому +2

      I get a lil sizzling too 😅 Maybe use a bit less and working the product through. Do you add it before blow drying?

    • @AlizMari23
      @AlizMari23 4 місяці тому +2

      Let it dry first. You're not supposed to flat iron wet hair even if it's wet from a heat protectant. The max temperature for almost every heat protectant is 450 degrees fahrenheit, and when you put hot metal directly on wet hair, you're actually cooking it, and it's absorbing the heat more than when it's wet, meaning that you are literally burning your hair. It's best to use spray heat protectants on wet/damp hair before blow drying, and using an oil based or silicone based one before flat ironing (like Chi or Biosilk).

    I was wonder What's in the product to make me choke? I put this on before bed and it kept me up all night, coughing and choking. I'm not sure why as I'm not very sensitive to things. I wonder if the ingredients in the product could be semi toxic! 🤔
