While I concur Miller's BJJ is on the same level as Paddy --- especially the ability to actually sub a good opponent --- the dude was 75 years-old. And so is the crafty Bobby Green. Paddy is JUST starting to enter his prime, at 29. Yes, on the feet, Paddy will be pieced up by the slick veteran; but as a priming 29 year-old, Paddy's better reactions likely would be able to get a good clinch going against the old man & from there on, down, it's no escape against the inventive, relentless Paddy.

People overlook how aggressive Leon was in the first fight vs Belal. I know it might be because of Leon’s layoff, but it could also just be that Leon genuinely doesn’t like him. I think there’s a possibility we actually get a good fight in the main event.

He's been Training with --- or at least talking to --- Khabib & Co so he'd feel super comfy & supported, especially in the grinding aspect of things. But that likely will let his guard go a bit... from sheer enthusiasm (for finally getting his due) and get his chin caressed big time. He's 36 and Leon's 32.
On the Belal domination: Usman's 2 as big, twice as strong, and Usman could hardly do any thing to Leon, even when he repeatedly take Leon down, so I doubt Belal'd do any better. He's a better wrestler than Leon, so if they clinch up, he'd take Leon down; but again, if Usman and D1 Colby couldn't do jack about Leon, I doubt an equally old Belal could.

Bobby green did not have a worse performance than paddy against Tony. Bobby got dropped in r1 whilst paddy dropped Tony. I know that paddy kinda smudged him for the last two rounds but he showed he has good fight iq and grappling. It was competitive on the feet for the last 2 rounds against Tony.

Belal actually has a really good chance of winning. Leon was losing the 4th round on the feet to colby and lost the 5th due to wrestling. He could keep it competitive on the feet and grind leon

Grinding alone isn't gonna do it. Leon is bigger, stronger, faster, and more agile than Belal. You also have to have size, height, range, striking skills, and GRINDING ability... to out maneuver Leon... someone like Shavkat.
Belal's chances aren't any better than Usman's or Colby's... all grinders, all 35 or 36, when they fight a prime, 29-32 year-old Leon.
Even from bottom, if you could take Leon down (& Leon could also easily take you down) ---- because he's so big, strong, and agile ---- it's very hard to overwhelm him. If anyone could, giant 200lb+ muscled man Usman, also an elite wrestler, would have done it, in their first two fights, when Usman was still in his most prime years: 28 - 34.

Volume is Luke Thomas level (very low). Sounds like the CL-1 Cloud Lifter is powered off. They make a Shure SM7B 48 volt version now (Shure SM7DB). It's a bit odd that people use a non-powered microphone as a standard, when it doesn't really work. Your volume is normally very good, FYI.

I get the weird feeling that Paddy is the type of fighter who will rise to the occasion - he'll look like shit versus bad fighters, but good versus good fighters. I might be wrong, but something feels like Paddy's actually going to go farther than people think after his last two poor performances.

Am I the only one that enjoys watching Leon fight? He's so technical and precise with his movements. The Nate fight was great and the end was crazy, the second Usman one had the headkick, and the Colby one was great seeing Colby lose. Leon is causing some good moments!
In terms of snipers he's the least entertaining I'd say, he usually does just enough to win, that Usman headkick had people thinking he was gonna be this finisher and entertaining champ but nope same old same old

Nate is one of the most durable fighters ever, Usman has been finished once by Leon and Colby has also only been finished once by Usman. And Colby is just as guilty for that fight being inactive

Leon is the king of stalling. The only reason Leon knocked out Usman was because he was losing. He knows how to knock people out but doesn't and instead decides to stall, which is even worse.
@zarifinator1327 Leon threw less and landed more. Thats skill. Colby was frozen on the feet so he's also to blame. This feels like similar criticism that Adesanya was getting for being boring but Leon was landing clean to the head instead of spamming leg kicks. Also, Leon can strike AND mix up with wrestling, making two sub attempts on Colby. Not every fights gonna be a Holloway fight
