I’m glad you enjoyed the drone footage, let’s do some fishing again before the ice season
@@NASPELTZ for sure!
Thank you so much Nathan for another great show. Sending lots of love and prayers from Northeast Florida.
About the best I’ve done this year is an 8 lb. Large mouth.
I just need to catch a 8 pounder once in my life and I’ll be happy haha. Thats amazing Keith, Great job. Sorry for responding so late all of these comments went into spam for no reason lol

👇(not begging)
Haha thanks
No Prob bro
I can’t wait to catch my first Muskie Or Pike all I catch rn is bass but my whole tackle is filled with Musky lures
@@ThingsIFindInteresting-MK4Work around points and "saddles" - the area between islands or points and islands. Hit the open pockets and weed edges...Pike and Musky love to hide in weedlines and wait to ambush prey. Don't get discouraged, especially with Musky....they are nicknamed "The fish of a thousand casts" for a reason! Wishing you the best of luck! 🙂👍
@@toddwilkinson621thanks bro
Get the 4 crappiest lures or bait u can find and see if u can catch anything,
Wow, I’m at a loss for words. Thank you so much, I didn’t even know someone could send money through UA-cam haha. I’ll grab some micro lures next time I’m at the local bait shop and try to catch some fish. Is there any way I can reach out to you to send you pictures of what I catch on them? Thanks :)
@@NASPELTZ sure, do you have discord or Snapchat? Phone number or email,
I have instagram, I’ll try to send a message along the lines of someone named max
My biggest fish I’ve caught this year was a 5 pound large mouth bass in NC , been enjoying the channel bro 🙏🏽
Thank you so much, and what a big fish!
Best this year is a 4lb river smallie in wisconsin. Haven't targeted them that much but I will be this weekend. Happy Labor day!
How did you do targeting them last weekend? I hope you caught a lot
Beautiful sunrise and some nice fish!
Thanks so much I’m glad you enjoyed
LMB around 2.5lbs. No the biggest but my PB after a year of fishing, mostly mini jigs on an ultra light. Great content, keep it up!
That is a beauty, nice job
What day were you out on the Mississippi, I was on it just the other day and might of saw you
I was out there pretty much every day that week haha
Ive really had a blast fishing this summer.I love watching your vids never seems to disappoint.the biggest fish I've cought this summer is a four pound largy
That is amazing, a 4 pounder is a giant. Thanks for watching the videos that means a lot
Awesome video as usual, me and my 2 sons look forward to seeing your videos every week!! Biggest fish Ive caught this year was an 18.5" smallie on the Conodoguinet Creek( a tributary of the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania
That is amazing, I’ve never heard of that river but it sounds awesome, congrats on such a nice fish and it means a ton you and your kids watch my videos. Thank you
Another great Video Nathan, best I’ve done this year in Ohio is a 3, been kind of slow!! Have a great week fishing bud!!
Know those spots. Really know them. Nice work.
where are they? from mn
actually there's this really great lure that i have, it's called the
savage gear 4PLAY 6 1/4" swimbait, it's mostly used for pike and musky but you can also use it for bass, if you get it i hope it work's great (:
I love that lure, I have a bunch and catch lots on them!
awesome man! I'm a big fan and i just started lure fishing this year. do you have any lure fishing tips that would be good for a beginner? My dream is to catch a muskie. I'm 11 btw, Thanks for replying
Biggest one I’ve got this year was a 3.5lb’r on a fly. Great vid as always man
Hey thanks so much for watching, and that’s a beauty. I’m just getting introduced to fly fishing now and absolutely love it
Love the verse of the day where do you get your crazy lures from I fish for large mouth to
Usually from Amazon or random eBay sellers
@@NASPELTZ ok thanks
So far this year was a 5lb 3oz, in SE Minnesota forget to measure him though.
That is unreal; what a tank
this was a great video
Thanks so much :)
I was waiting for this video, I seen your truck at the boat ramp
Minnesota and probably 1.5 lbs
Haha ya I’ve been on the river a lot recently, and that’s a nice bass!!!
Hi Nate, great video as always. I’m just curious, why did you use a spinning reel this time? It seems like a situation when you’d normally use a bait-caster. God bless!
If it’s a treble hooked topwater I usually use a spinning rod, but last video with that topwater I just rigged up my bait caster with some new line and wanted to give it a test. I don’t think there is any advantage or disadvantage of spinning verses bait caster for topwater with treble hooks, with single hook of course you need a bait cater or super strong spinning though
@@NASPELTZ Thanks for the detailed answer, Nate!
Great vid Michigan and 4.6 smallie
That’s awesome :)
Love when you upload man keep it up
Thanks ❤️
He’s the best fisher 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
No way haha
Great video man. I love the Mississippi River content. I’ve never been but I want to. My biggest bass the year was 4 pound small mouth. And you already know I live in North Dakota 😂. Loved the video keep up the good work. I’ve finally been getting some yt videos posted I might go tn ngl after watching this video !!!
You need to come on up and fish the river with me, I’ll have to check you new videos, great job on the 4 pounder as well
@@NASPELTZ thanks man means a lot and I would for sure fish the river with you we should plan something out
Is there a benefit to throwing that lure on a spinning set-up over bait casting?
No but there is no disadvantage either, just more fun
River is poppppppping👀👀👀👀
Oh ya haha
Do you change out the hooks on these "weird" lures? I am working my way watching all of your videos. The biggest Largemouth I caught is here in Florida and it was 5.5 lbs.✌
Yes I do, most stock hooks on these cheap lures are terrible haha
A 5.5 is an awesome fish, congrats :)
5.5 lbs was the biggest so far this year. Caught a 7.9 lb a few years ago and a 9 lb 30 years ago on Okeechobee.
Hey Nathan! Love your videos was wondering if you’d ever make a video fishing the Winnebago system near greenbay/Oshkosh?
I have a video there when I fished with Larry smith, it’s a walleye video from 3 years ago
@@NASPELTZ awesome thank you I will check that one out!
NASPELTZ, I loved this video so much, I had to hit the like button!
Thanks so much, even though you are 100% a bot
@@NASPELTZlolll
I need to get to the sippi sometime to try some fishing!
Come on over!
I didn’t do much bass fishing this year but my biggest is 2.2 small
Mouth ona whopper plopper
(Ontario Canada
That is amazing, great fish for sure
Always love the work, biggest bass this summer was about 3.5 lbs it was a largemouth out in Madison. Live in wi and love fishing greenbay you should try it sometime for walleye
I’ve been planning to fish Green Bay, I’m for sure going to next spring for walleye. I hear so many stories and want to give it a try
@@NASPELTZ yeah man I’ve caught a few 29 and 30 inches up there it’s awesome
@liamclumpner3516 I just want to break 30 inches one time, I think that’s the place to go it seems like, or a trip to Canada
@@NASPELTZ yeah it’s hard to do, been planning on going to Canada soon
23.25 is my PB this year in very difficult South Jersey (Rainbow Lake).
That is incredible great job
Have you tried any of the bass pro shop brand glide baits they are cheap but didn’t know if you knew if they work or not
I have so many videos with them, they are my favorite glide all time
"Do bass eat mice?"
Evidently, yes, yes they do.
Never let cost of lures fool you....I have some dollar store poppers that I bought just for fun to try out, and some days, they catch tons of fish. 🙂
100% agree sometimes the cheapest lures work the best!
@@NASPELTZFor sure! It's nice to have the latest, hand carved, hand painted and tank tested, "Fuji Catchabasso" lure ordered straight from Japan for $36, totally cool if one is into that; But, for that same money, we can buy a dozen or more lures, in various styles and colors and still have a lot of fun catching fish! Most important thing is being out on/around the water enjoying time fishing! 🙃
You and ndyak best fishing channels. New York 5lb largie
Hey thanks so much, Matt makes some incurable videos, great guy. Thanks for watching
What a spot and bait broski! Take me next time! Haha
Haha I’d love to
18 inch Michigan love the videos buddy
I I you don’t normally do tutorial videos but I was wondering if you could do video on how to fish each type of lure as I’ve just got into lure fishing in the uk and just can’t seem to find anything on yt that’s helpful just think it might be a good video idea as well 👍🏻
And show on camera the technique you use with the rod p.s I’m trying to catch pike on the canal/ rivers near me (uk)
Next pike video I post (not the one today) I’ll add a segment on how to fish the lure and such
Is that pool 6? If so we actually have a bass tourney there in a week
Yes it was
I live in Minnesota and I’m trying to get into fishing how do I find spots like that flooded park you posted and other cool spots to fish ?
The flooded park only flooded when the Mississippi River floods
@@NASPELTZ 😂😂😂
Great video! My biggest bass this year is a 3 pound smallie, I live in Ottawa.
That is a beauty congrats

yes they do eat mice. no that lure is not a mouse. u could paint it to look like a turd and fish will still bite it.
Haha ya
I caught my pb bass on that exact same lure
That is wild, congrats
My biggest smallie was a 21 inch in ontario
That is amazing, I’m guessing around 4-5 pounds at 21 inches
@@NASPELTZ I guess so. Didn't weigh
biggest bass this year was 3 pounds on the cannon river.
That is awesome, that river holds some nice fish
The biggest bass I caught was a 4 pound small mouth.
That is a tank, congrats
What mic is that? It literally sounds like you’re talking into my ear.
I’m using a rode lav 2 mic with a zoom f1 field recorder tied to the back of my hat!
are those longsleeves for sale? Also, lets get fishing again soon my man!
They are not but I’m planning to make them for sale soon when I release the clothing company
Michigan, 5lb largie!

I can't even catch one on a senko 😂
It’s all about being at the right spot, if you were here I bet you would have caught more fish than I did haha
@@NASPELTZ for sure it's just been so hot where I am so they're really not biting to much
