I’m curious about the hihat. Hello, quick question... If you record your drum songs on the module are you able to export these files from module to either a USB or laptop? If so how do you do it .thanks 😊
Hats are a little on the sloppy side. Nowhere near as responsive as real ones. Id say the rest of the kit is great but if there was one thing I would change it would be the pedal action on the hats. good for cynamic and hits, terrible for footwork.
Hi, Quick question, what is the brand/model of the cymbal pad on the right side (the one that doesn't come with the kit)? I'm planning to add one more cymbal as well Thank you
I'm very impressed with the range of the hi-hat at 1:20, but I'm curious: If I were to do the same thing with the MPS 850 and SD3, would it sound the same? Or does the 750x just have better range?
Has someone figured out hihat settings yet? I have it for about a year and still cant solve major problems like splash doubletriggering and how to set closed, semi and open intervals to sound somewhat like real thing.
If you are looking for a beginner e-drum kit within the 500€ price range - go for the 750x (not the 850 since its pretty old and the 750x got some neat upgrades)
@John Stirling go for the 750x the 850 offers u a lil bit more but overall quality lacks a bit. the 750x offers u a lil bit less but the overall quality is better I bought the 750x few weeks ago - for a beginner its the perfect set in a 500€ price range.
@eNji, what are the upgrades? I can see the ride is 2 inches bigger but apart from that I can't find anything on this. Was planning on getting a kit soon and dont wanna spend money on something worse
I find that in comparison to a real hat I have to have my foot further back on the pedal and have the hat on a slightly higher point on the stem. Its pretty ruthless if you play heel up on the hats but it is doable. But all my settings are stock. Its a steep learning curve to go from real to this but worth it.
@@slawaschwed newbie here considering first drums. So do you mean that the problems people experience with the hi hats not reacting well can be fixed by physical adjustment as well as in the digital settings to get a comparable experience to roland hi hats?
What is the actual size of the hihat? In the description of the kit it says its 10 inch, but it looks like its 12, since it's right right next to the 12 inch crash cymbal in the product photo they look the same size, and it looks bigger than the 10 inch tom and snare pads. I could be wrong though and it actually be 10 inch lol. Thanks for this comparison and tests! The module sounds sound pretty nice to me, way better than the 850. That's why I'm going with this kit.
I have it since a week not sure if I shall return it. How did you configure it to be so responsive? Can you share your config? HiHat needs always heavier hit for my 750X. Can‘t really play soft or fine tuned songs.
There are gain pots on each drum, including the hats. But mine came from factory very sensitive so possibly a defective unit? If using Superiour drummer you can configure the hit velocity in its settings.
make sure you have set up your kit correctly in sd3 Settings/midiin /edrums then use the drop down menu on the left to select the kit. After that save. Then go into your kit mixer on the main sd3 page and if you have to, turn up the toms. if its a velocity thing go to settings/midi in/edrums/ HIt the pad you want to adjust and change the velocity curve
Yes, the pedal that came wit hthe kit is loud. Springs ring out on each hit and it squeeks slightly. Also mine broke within a month. but the bass drum is compatible with all kick drum pedals. I currently use a Tama one.

Hey man, i have a question. Maybe some questions. When i use reaper with superior drummer, i set midi in and midi out and superior drummer recognizes the hits in the pad and makes sound, but the problema is that the sound comes out of the computer, and not out of the speakers that the drums are connected to. It does not change the sound of the drums, only makes sound on the computer. Shouldnt the midi out make it sound through the speakers where the module is connected through? Hope you understand me. Thanks!

Can it take a double kick pedal?
