What a talent!! , its annoying that i remember him for endless gameshows to be fair he made way more entertaining than they should have been. His enthuism is enourmous, thanks Brucie
I know a lady from Cardiff who was in a relationship with one of Brucie’s great friends. This was years ago in the mid 1980’s. Anyway she went with her friend to Brucie’s house near Wentworth on Christmas Day. When they arrived Bruce met them at the door with an apron on because he was cooking. My friend said Bruce was amazing. He was kind and a wonderful host. He was Bruce Forsyth; funny, and simply wonderful. What a day she had. ❤
This was from the very last edition of Michael's talk show he would do for the BBC - Michael had a big row with the BBC in 2004 over the schedules, where he would be placed in prime time, and he felt his show wasn't getting a decent slot. ITV came and poached him, with his show starting there in autumn of 2004. So this was the last work he would do for the BBC.
Weird to think how bringing back shows like Strictly was seen as very questionable, even by the TV folk in the know. Now those programmes dominate the schedules. How much TV culture has changed in 20 years!
Sadly Brucie died and SCD was never the same. Then we had the ridiculous situation where, in 2024, we have the spectacle of Chris McCausland (who is as blind as a bat) performing - AND WINNING. Can you tell me how in this World a blind contestant can beat a sighted one? There is only one reason he won, and that is the panel had sympathy for him, or maybe they were afraid that if they voted him off they would be accused of prejudice, and the prospect of losing their lucrative careers was too terrible to contemplate.
Unfortunately after the game shows he hosted he lost all the talent he had. He became extremely arrogant, ignorant and patronising.and could be quiet rude and belittling. He should of retired long ago especially when he tried telling a joke and no one laughed. Huge warning sign it was time to go especially when he failed a laugh on the first strictly come dancing show. He'd become sadly a massive embarrassment

We will probably never see his type of entertainment again. His skills of song, dance, comedy, musician etc were second to none.
What skills no game shows no bruce not a comedy star game shows kept him in work for years and years
and the catch-phrases ...
@@clivem24 wouldn't be around long being a comedian game shows kept him in the lime light hell of a lot
Saw his one man show twice in the 70s. Absolutely brilliant and we'll never see and enjoy someone as versatile again.
Definitely grown up with Bruce and have been a fan throughout. Great memories watching with family last and present.
Thanks for that...I loved Brucie...he will NEVER be replaced...heart warming stuff.
Bruce Forsyth, an absolute genius 🔥

R .Brucie much loved and sadly mist but not forgotten❤ Thank you for years of pleaser❤God Bless❤❤❤❤
Two of the best entertainers that ever lived.
Seeing and hearing him again took me back to my childhood; likewise Parkie. Bruce was an entertainer to the core.
He was an absolute legend…..
Mr Entertainment. Nobody but nobody has his multi talents today. RIP We will not see his type again.
Love Brucie's rendition of Misty, thanks for uploading

Well Bruce can certainly play the Old Joanna! Great entertainer.
Bruce really was a gineous of all round entertainment.😊
Ahhh Brucie from a long gone era of truly talented entertainers, how i miss those long gone days of tv fun and laughter.
Bruce was right about the ballroom dancing ‘outings’ back then. It was a thing in the 40s, 50s and 60s. My grandparents used to do it regularly.
What a marvellous entertainer.

R.I.P Bruce Forsyth and Michael Parkinson😥
He was a master, much missed
Legend
Tommy Cooper and he shared a brilliant talent for entertaining a live audience in a way that was effective via television.
Bruce was such a natural because he learnt his craft in the late vaudavil era, which is now long gone and these skills gone with it.
Yes, a master class...
The king.
Our Brucie was a master of his craft
Just think us 50 plus had the best times in TV, now i watch U Tube to reminisce
If he had never done anything else, he was a fine pianist...

He died to young at 89. He could have gone on until 100.
was he Albert Steptoe`s son by any chance?
If he was let's hope he kept out of the carsi.
I can vouch to having stiffness when I wake up. 😶
That badly mannered so called comedian Kielty hadn,t the manners to wait until Mr Forsyth
took his seat.

The best clip is where they won the car & the car was locked. He was livid.

Oh yes he had an absolutely terrible career with Strictly. Said no one ever. Trolling on a 21 year old clip? Desperate. Get in the bin.
Pity Parky did not ask him how many miss world's he has been out with.
