Oh. Hey. Look at that. A loop-dee-loop that: A. Is not scripted, B. has lines of rings on it to incentivize maneuvering while on the loop, and C. works JUST FINE IN 3D. HINT, HINT, KISHIMOTO-SAN.
I think that having the camera fixed in your back tilting and turning with you is so much cooler and more immersive than the "cinematic" pans Sega has insisted in since Sonic has gone 3D, and is something I think some Sonic fangames and Sonic-Inspired speed platformers like Spark and Rolling Rascal do better, since it doesn't automate the gameplay and take control out of the player even for a second.

This type of level design proves that boost isn't the problem If level design can be this boost intergrated and this good, then it proves ir If people realised it was a level design issue, i Guarantee that people wouldn't be stuck saying "REMOVE BOOST ITS BAD!!!!11!11!"
Dude I just recently had to put my PS5 in the pawn shop along with Sonic Frontiers, that game is stupid fun too play, I want to get a Steam Deck so I can get the mods for Shadow so I can play it
Hey everyone, I bought Frontiers on Steam so I could mod it. I followed tutorials online and got the HedgeModManager running but Steam wouldn’t run Frontiers anymore. I tried uninstalling HMM, reinstalling the game with and without backup files, and Frontiers just straight up won’t work anymore. Does anyone have a solution?
can someone actualy revamo the shitty camera i swear to god i might need cybernetic eyes to properly view this cool level design just because of the shitty camera
This is better than all of frontiers levels! That was really my only annoyance with the game, why does every level look like the old games? And with boring designs.
I swear naoto ohshima should come back, learned what worked and what didnt, and make classic sonics true transition into 3d pre sa1 ( and have classic characters talk with new vas)
Oh yay!!! That’s my level
The level design is straight fire. The visuals could use some improvements. If I remember right this was your first stage mod, amazing job!!
Phenomenal level man
For the love of god put a fixed camera in your stage mod
@@Tailsfly593 sorry about that, the levels really jank but I won’t be updating it cuz it was just a test level really
@ice_popzz6623 you should update it the level design is really good all you gotta do is to put fixed camerq
This is the level design that 3d sonic games always should have had. Amazing job that you put all the effort into this.
Debatable, but yeah its really good
It’s not made by him

HINT, HINT, KISHIMOTO-SAN.
i don't wanna alarm anyone but we may be approaching playable sonic cd opening
sonic overdrive already did that

I just meant that the creator of this who just commented did a really good job on creating this level.
Amazing level design. Very fun
The level music is a banger 10 out of 10 from me
No that’s edited in
my fault
@@KaisGamesandShortssuch a fire choice though it’s perfect
There's "One way Lane" and "Gusty Greenhouse act 1" from Sonic and the Fallen Star for the ost!
@@sonicovertime oh that’s understandable
Frontiers 2 better have this peak with shadow gens style
Would you say it has a good story mode? it looked too open world and empty lol
@@ItsAriesHere In my opinion, the story was great and so was the open world hub zone.
Shadow gens has gotten very good critical reception while still being automated so they won't change the style to this.
Missed opportunity to use meloh’s reanimated frontiers. The oval run cycle would’ve worked really well with this sonic model.
Never tried that combo before, will have to give that a go.
*Definitely Amazing!*
I think this man can see me in my dreams because this is the type of places that cloud my mind when unconcious.
Emerald Hill Theme!!!!
And the Toei Sonic Mod!!!!!
AWESOME!!!!!
Not gonna lie, I never heard of Toei Sonic and I grew up on the franchise
@@UnknownUndeath it's just the design used for the Sonic animation Toei did which is like the Sonic CD cutscenes and I think the OVA??
@@Aisubun now that you mention it, I am starting to remember seeing it back in the day on TV for Sonic CD, talk about decades ago
@@Aisubun First, the design is actually by Junio, not Toei. Second, the OVA is by Pierrot
More proof that Sonic should never have changed. Everything about this is amazingly iconic.
Seeing a lengthy cyberspace level is surreal

omg classic sonic has a sonic colors boost aura
Idk why but i couldn't stop thinking of champions road while watching this
(if you know you know)
Classic Sonic really needs a 3D platformer one day.
(looks over to my unmoddable sonic frontiers for ps4)
"...why doesnt mine look like that?"
New year new cyberspace
It is truly amazing, seems so nice to play it, and its quite open and cool to traverse around using the physics, in a official game too
i hate how the model's quills are naturally at a weird angle
meaning its only good when u look at it from the front
sonic and the fallen star ost
goated
Now THIS is peak cyberspace
Someday, can you guys either make a Freedom fighters game,
Mario and Sonic on a speedy adventure game,
or a Sonic Underground game please?

Funny how Frontiers only gets better when you make it leas like Frontiers

sonic had excellent transition to 3D, dare i say better than mario
