When I see and hear Paul McCartney sing this song, I hear Paul McCartney singing this song. Not only for the loss of his bandmate and good friend, George Harrison, but the losses that he has had to deal with in his life, starting with his beloved wife Linda who he clearly adored, the loss of John Lennon so tragically, and now George. In recent photos of Paul McCartney he looks extremely happy with his wife, but no one could ever replace Linda his first love. And I don't get the feeling that his present wife would have a problem with that. He truly looks happier than I have seen him in a very long time. Sometimes we take the scenic route, but if Providence is with us, we are granted happiness once again.

one of Paul McCartneys best ever songs , and he didn't even write it definitely one of his very best live singing performances he nailed it
When I see and hear Paul McCartney sing this song, I hear Paul McCartney singing this song.
Hello Elissa, how are you doing?
Respected lady, I adore your words, if you gone through reall glory days of beatlmania, please share some memories of those days,I am 47 years old man of south Asian country,we were very far from beatlmania, but as a lover of rock ND rock music, I collected their music, admired their music, tried to understand their music, gathered information about them,I born back in 1976, I didn't have experience of observing, watching, feeling Beatles music philosophy, and even didn't saw air of those beatlmania years, so I request you, please share your memories about Beatles and beatlmania, being a part of western society you can tell and share lot of things about Beatles, I'll be very thankful to you. Lot of respect and regards.
Paul McCartney is my favourite Beatle,2nd is George Harrison,3rd is Ringo Starr, ,please tell what's your favourite Beatle ? Thanks
“Daylight is good at arriving at the right time” is the most encouraging phrase I’ve ever heard.
I've been a musician all my life, and have heard many gorgeous songs, but this song, and this particular performance of it, always bring me to tears. even just writing about it. Seeing all the guys on stage singing along. And I really hate how any impact has been sucked from these tribute shows, over done and over done. The Concert for George though is a wonderful thing. I get the feeling that they would have done that show for themselves, had no audience showed up.
The love all those great musicians on stage had for George and this song shown through so clearly.
Absolutely beautiful.
This song is timeless and what a great version by the icon Sir Paul
Seeing Dhani on stage, is like seeing a young George. It's beautiful.
spittin image of his famous father
@@danielkokal8819 Absolutely.
The lead guitar here is played by Marc Mann, he has the perfect tone and a great slide technique.
I thought it was Steve Winwood with the sunburst strat?
He imitated George's slide to perfection Ajit !
the whole concert he’s just hanging out back there absolutely nailing george’s parts. star of the show for me
@@landonbuckanaga6411 Steve Winwood was sat in the audience just behind Gary Brooker's piano.
Indeed 🎸👏👏👏😎👍🏻🥂
The main thing said by that look from McCartney to Clapton at the end is, we're doing George proud with this.
OH MY GOD, I WAS JUST LISTENING TO CONCERT FOR GEORGE ON UA-cam AND I THOUGHT OHH WHY DONT WE HAVE ALL THINGS MUST PASS ??? I 20 MINUTES LATER I SAW THIS VIDEO!!!!
THIS SONG HAS SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL!!
SAME!
yes google has "special" algorithm.
Instant karma

One of the greatest songs ever written by one of the most amazing human beings that ever lived!!!!!🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️Rest in Peace George... you are truly missed 🙏😢❤️
My FAVORITE Beatle!
HAPPY 77TH GEORGIE!✌💖🕉🕊
WE ALL LOVE YOU!!!!
This is the best concert ever put on by any group, any one.. Star studded, everybody played their best .What a deep library of music George Harrison gave us. Peace to you George
Agreed. And whatever they paid the sound guy/team wasn't nearly enough. This whole concert sounded incredible start to finish.
To all the people who have lost hope, this is not the end. All things must pass.
This makes Klaus Voorman and Jim Keltner the only musicians to have played with all post-Beatles lineups (Billy Preston and Clapton actually played with all the Beatles on their albums)
Eric,Paul,Jeff,Ringo,Klaus, Dhani, and ALL the guys there was there..THANK YOU!!!!!!
And Billy Preston
@@Kathmak YES!
I can only imagine what Paul must have been feeling when he sang this song. His best friends were no longer there with him and they had rehearsed this song together and I wish they had put the song in the album. It wasn't long since he had lost his wife too. It is something to admire in this man that music is his talent and strength and sustains him when life throws him a lot of pain. I'm glad that he still has Ringo. I love Paul and I always will. Miss George and miss John. I will love the Beatles forever and ever 🙏🎵🙏 I can't ever watch this without crying my eyes out. 🌈
A mind can blow those clouds away. John Lennon's contribution.
That little nod of appreciation from MacCartney to Clapton at the end saying 'we did him proud I think'.
"Sunrise doesn't last all morning."
20 years ago, on this day, you left us. We still miss you, Georgie. Thank you for your music. Fans will love you forever. Rest in peace, king. Hare Krishna! 🕊️❤️
3:05, the look Paul gives Dhani is stunning, like he’s playing with his best mate again
God, I love this. Paul, singing from his heart for his little brother, George.
Hello Rachel, how are you doing?
Beautiful rendition by Paul McCartney. Very emotional! A nice tribute to George ❤️
Paul did it again on his solo tours along with "Something" as a tribute to George.
After watching GetBack docu-series you can imagine what comes to Paul’s and Billy’s mind/heart when playing this song. That they were involved in the making of this song back in 69.
The best Beatles song never recorded
This is about as emotional as it gets. Heartbreakingly beautiful. I love seeing the great Gary Brooker on the piano.
What a beautiful homage to one of the most special men that lived on this earth! George Harrison!!! I had the privilege of meeting his niece Leslie and his sister Louise in Sarasota, Florida in 1981.
It's so good to see all the joy Paul, Ringo, Billy and Eric share on the stage!
What an emotional song, perfect for his wonderful voice. He’s iconic to me because he’s down to Earth. He was a gardener, after all.
This has to be one of the best tribe of all time.
All things must pass.. so we are here for tomorrow. I could not buy the album when it was released
because it was far beyond super expensive. I miss him.. All things must pass away!
Happy Birthday George Harrison and soon Happy 50 years of All Things Must Pass
All things pass but the memories of George live on and on and on...............Here we are in 2021 and your alive........
So sweet of them to include Dhaani Harrison in the line up 🙏🏼
The memory of George will never pass away.
The shot that runs in the 2:38 minute plus the fragment of the song, is quite a delight.
How beautiful this was
When Paul tours, he performs "Something" as a tribute to George. Although I'd prefer All Things Must Pass, it's so touching to see the love Paul obviously still has for him.
