Because he knows what it feels like trying to be an up and coming comedian & knows how uncomfortable it can be, and knows everyone will be ruthless anyway so he doesn’t always feel the need😂
That's the best part of Theo Von. You never know if it's true or not. I believe anything he says could be true, and at the same time all false. That takes skill. Gang gang Theo. 😎
Everyone so often they had a good one not necessarily this episode but Betski and him went wild sometimes. It wasn’t great all the time but usually had some funny perspectives but awful jazz musicians
Asher I agree l Tony is a pretentious idiot . I only like this show when he has on Theo or Tim Dillon . But tony completely ignored the only good 60 seasons of the night . And it’s not as if Tony has any right to be pretentious as a comedian no one knows who he is 😂
@@maruzencentral True, but it was still really distracting to see him not paying attention and actually hearing him and Redban talk in the background through the entire set. Didn't even look at the dude once while he was crushing. Idk if he could even really comment on it accurately even if he was nice. Maybe it was a "compliment" to tune out because he figured "this guy's got it" so he felt safe chatting with Redban. I know they go through a lot of sets and don't have too many opportunities to discuss things during the show, but seeing one of the best ones essentially getting ignored by most of the panel sucked. Theo looked engaged the whole time.
The guy from Louisiana and Theo had some uncanny similarities, the way they laughed, the body language when they were thinking about what to say, even the handshake at the end was special lol

@@deejaylos05 dude if you think Tony is the least funny onstage then you must be new to this show. He has to try to be on point at all times when everyone else can just sit back and not say anything if they don't want to. He has some misses but he takes 10x more swings than everyone else. He seems pretentious bc he can easily outshine and destroy almost any comedian to come to that stage. His standup sucks but you can't disagree with the fact that he is a great host for this show. He can only coddle shitty comedians for so long.
I love comedians like Theo who just throw jokes out and if they don't land, even if they're hilarious, he doesn't try to go back and save it. At 15:15 Tony thinks he has a great joke and awkwardly tells everyone he told a great joke. At 15:23 Theo asks if she goes into the mountains which is such a more hilarious joke, doesn't get a laugh, but he just moves on to the next joke.
