I need to make my sleeves smaller, but honestly, this is the easiest, most straight forward video I've found so far! Thank you!

This is probably the most informative sleeve video on this type of method I’ve seen. Very well taught and now I know something new ☺️❤️

If I make my sleeve bigger by 1" (all the way down to the elbow), do I have to add 1" to the curve of the sleeve hole? And do I just add 1/2" to either side? Thanks for this great tutorial too!😺

Yes you’ll need to make the arm hop bigger by the same amount you added to the top curve of the sleeve. If you widen by 1inch, because the top is curved it might be slightly more than 1in to the armhole so I’d suggest measuring after.

I have a question and was hoping someone could help me here. I have a bodice and sleeve pattern I traced from an existing dress, so it's only one size (an S). I want to size it up to fit me (roughly an XL, I am both taller and wider than the dress is made for) and I have a personal bodice pattern that fits me so I can copy the lines, but no sleeve. How do I adjust the cap height on the dress sleeve pattern so it's proportionally the same on me? Do I just compare the armhole depth of the dress bodice to the armhole depth of my own bodice and add the difference in cm to the cap height of dress sleeve pattern? Or is the cap height a % of the armhole depth, and should I add a certain amount of cm to the sleeve pattern so it's the same % in relation to my own armhole depth?
Thank you in advance, I cannot figure this out on my own 😅

How about decreasing? Just squash together?

Yup! You can also do both at the same time by pulling some sections apart and pushing some together. I show that a little more in the general video on slash and spread.
