Top tip which we found really useful: I had the above pre-plotted routes (from RidewithGPS) on my Wahoo, but at times Dave looked on MapMyRide and found some routes planned by other users which enabled us to find lots of quieter roads, so we followed those for a while on some of the rides. - Розваги
Flying to Mallorca soon - thanks for the tips
Greetings from Greece 👍👍👍

Thank you ❤️❤️ Have a fantastic holiday!!
Beautiful bike paths with the coastline, architecture, I think I saw some olive trees there, an important beer stop, through towns, mountains in the distance, a cafe stop, a dip into the sea, another cafe stop - a needed coffee?, up into the mountains (now I see why you stopped for the coffee) and the long zigzag descent. Now, I need a beer. I really enjoyed this. A great ride. I have been all over Spain but not yet Mallorca. I of course now have to do that.
Thank you! I would never have thought to visit until I heard about SA Calobra. And yes, there were olive trees everywhere, and of course a lovely temperature during October. It’s a lovely island
What a beautiful country! It looks so warm and yet green and lush! Loved the views from your bike, especially at 7:58. My goodness, those rock formations and cliffs in the back were just stunning. I'm also in love with the architecture there!!. It looks like you had the most amazing time, I surely enjoyed watching this adventure!!
Thank you very much! Like you, I adore beauty and colour. And seeing eagles is always special too 🥰 Keep up the lovely creative work on your channel
Fabulous vistas Sue in Mallorca and some great towns on every route!
oh boi blue sky and sea too!
The take your saddle was good advice (a hiker wouldn’t higher boots 🥾 ) but I wouldn’t of thought to take a saddle 👍
Great edit too Sue 🙌
Hope you and Dave are doing good 🙏🏼
Best wishes Simon 😊🙏🏼
Thanks Simon 😊 So nice to get hot weather, it’s a lovely island, completely different to how I imagined it. I see you went back to the Alps, hope it was fabulous!
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth yes the Alps where great 👍 🙏🏼🏔 thanks for asking 😊
But your trip looked great too it always amazes me how many mile a good seasoned cyclist can cover 🙌
Best wishes Simon 😊👍
Lovely routes, and great weather - No rain or midges, only mosquitoes 🦟. Good advice given, for preparing to hire a bike, especially bringing your own saddle 👍. Hope you’re knee is feeling fine now. Enjoyed the video, thanks. 😁
Hullo Mick, and thanks 😀 I’d take the Scottish midge over a mosquito 🦟😥 Yeah, the saddle was awful, not the first time that’s happened, agonising after a few days! You’d have loved the fish… I saw loads of stuff, the best was a big flatfish 😃 It’s another world under the water
Beautiful places you biked around the island.
Thank you! I would never have known how lovely Mallorca is were it not for cycling!
Can’t wait for next week, going to stay 5 weeks
I hope you have a lovely trip. Have fun!
Great video as always 🥰🤎
Thank you! I see you have a Scotland series on your channel 😀
FIVE-FOOT LYTH: Sue Lyth i gave this video a thumbs up 👍 your content is superbly magnificent. Here is my support for you, enjoy your day
That looks amazing! Adding this to my bucket list.
Side note: The MTN jersey, did he spend some time in South Africa by any chance? 🙂
Thank you! And have fun when you get there 😃 The jersey, ah no, I think it was a Christmas gift some time ago bought online. But I wish I could have said yes!
What shop did you hire the bikes from and how much did they charge p/d??
Hello Marius, and thanks for visiting. We used Max Huerzeler Rentals in Palma, but they are represented all over the island. They seem to be using Cube bicycles exclusively, and we paid around 25 euros per day, per person. Carbon frames but the bikes felt heavy, so satisfaction depends upon what you are used to riding. My bike is around 7.5kgs. Friendly service but we had to fit ourselves to the bikes when we picked them up. Hope this helps? Best Wishes, Sue
@@FIVE-FOOTLyth thank you! Will check them out! We'll be there for 2 weeks from the 25th of December, super excited!!
@@mariuscarstens1 Wow! I hope you have a wonderful holiday. My apologies, I’ve updated my last reply, 25 euros, not 20. I couldn’t find my booking info so had to double check.
