    Often had to do that Eric and not all logs are the same we learn something new with every tree and logs

    372 is a good saw, after I got a 500I I sold it though, those big logs are a pain, good save

    Ive split quite a few of those big logs, i know exactly what you mean. My 661 does a great job at it, but man does it like gas lol. And i think all the youtube videos from asia with a guy with a big saw cutting lumber lol. Im good with a saw and still jave problems getting the cuts just like you did to line up. Its hot, dirty, loud and tough on your lungs.

    I have 4 Withe Oaks that are 38 Inch and I use a Stihl 460 with a 42 inch bar. After I cut the top of the log I roll it over and cut the bottom . it is a lot of work but have some wide boards.

    cant wait to see the cuts and bfs verus a 30inch log the waste factor if you know what i mean by bringing big logs Verusa 30 inch log what produce the most BF

    I watch Matthew Cremona’s videos he has a very big saw mill for big logs. He can help you with all big logs. Reach out to him, he enjoys cutting big logs.

    the 3120 should be set from the factory with a higher rev limit it's set to low. I'm not talking about hot rodding it that rev limit could be turned up a bit more without shorting it's life span. I ran 404 on mine because your only really using it for the big stuff. That 372 is a great saw.

      or use the hydrauilcs on equipment just dont or power the gators

      don't overpower the gators auto spell is good but makes a stupid man look stupider
