It should be noted that if you are JUST WANTING TO FARM MONEY, the best trainers to use the VS Seeker on are the two gentleman and gentlewoman, located on the Trophy Garden route below Hearthome city, who give $18000 after defeating one with an Amulet Coin or Luck Insence, thus in total you get 36000 from just defeating both of them, and repeating the process is very very fast
If you want a Lucky egg easier, catch a Yanma from the great marsh with the ability ‘Compoundeyes’ it increases the chance that chansey is holding a lucky egg from 5% to 20%
This is still good even before the elite four. Even though the fisherman only has one gyarados level 45, I still get a little over 3k exp with the lucky egg. Rich boy gives around 2.8K exp with his level 45 luxray and 7.2k poke dollars also with the lucky egg. I was able to get most of my Pokemon from 40-45 to 58. I got the numbers using gliscor.
I’m playing Pokémon Diamond, but this helps so much!! Doing a Happiny only run and gathering Aipom to level up to 81 so I can get that 1% chance of picking up leftovers (don’t wanna wait till post game to have it for my egg boi) Definitely subbing, glad to see you’re still uploading!!
extra tips for lucky egg farm: Do the poke radar thing to find more chances. However only 5% of them will have lucky egg Get a pokemon with compound eyes like butterfree,venomoth or yanma! It increases the chances of the wild pokemon holding an item. You can farm money WAY easier, battling and a grandma (socialite class reina) and grandpa near the gates of the pokemon mansion! After beating team galactic (and maybe catching heatran), she has a lv 60something roselia, and the other old timer has a level 60something chatot. With amulet coin or luck incense(you can find luck incense in the first cave north to jubilife city,easy to find), you get around to 25000 per battle and you can battle both of them. You just finish two mons and get so much money. Apart from that chatot and roselia are much easier to beat. It gives low exp though.
Pro tip: if you sold your TM Thief you can go catch rotom and Heart Scale for Trick which is pretty much the same thing you don’t need to be holding an item it’ll just steal the opponent’s if you aren’t
Pkm Platinum is dead ass the best. Deadass probably not gonna buy another Pkm game till we get a modernized Platinum. I would love for it to get the ORAS treatment.
Here are some other trainers I also grind with: Ernest: Route 210 (east of Celestic Town) Type: Normal Opponents: Scyther, Lucio, Probopass Payout: 2,040 cr. Zac and Jen: Route 210 (a click south of Ernest) Type: 2-on-2 Opponents: Gyarados/Raichu Payout: 8,640 cr. Both of these trainer battles will take place in thick fog! This means accuracy is reduced and any move can miss. Unless you use Defog, you will need a Ghost Pokemon (Gastly, Gengar, etc.) that can use Curse which is more accurate (even in thick fog) and never misses. With my strategy and yours, I can now make as much as 20,000 cr. in a short time. Happy grinding, friend!
And at times, I can also grind with trainers standing next to healing desks inside these Pokemon Centers: Arturo: Sunyshore center Type: Normal Opponent: Kricketune only Payout: 1600 cr. Roxy and Oli: Veilstone center Type: 2-on-2 Opponents: Magneton/Gardevoir Payout: 6768 cr. Clown Lee: Celestic Town center Type: Normal Opponents: Mr. Mime, Alakazam, Ambipom (lots of exp. points) Payout: 1400 cr.

@@rockguy5847 Pokémon is a Japanese game and when they localized the games they need names for the Pokémon that make sense with the language. Infernape is a combination of the English words Inferno and Ape and that wouldn’t make too much sense in different languages.
Gen 4 and everything before it are the best. I loved the gamecube games too. Sapphire and Firered were my first pokemon games and now I have Platinum and Soul Silver
I found a good trainer for Ghost or Dark types in Diamond. (You will need to be level 45+ with EVs in attacking stats to OHKO them. I used my Skuntank here starting at level 46 or 47 and it wasn't quite OHKO the Alakazam and it didn't out speed Gengar). Psychic Abigail on Route 214 has Gengar, Misdreavus, and Alakazam. Gengar has Destiny Bond so you need to out speed it. Gengar XP: 3541 Misdreavus XP: 2692 Alakazam XP: 3525 Total XP: 9758 This is the XP my native Pokemon holding lucky egg gets.
If you can get your Pokémon to a high enough level, you can also start trying to sweep the lower level elite 4 with it and that will give really good xp. But you can’t catch heatran yet.
Elite 4 is always an option but what is nice about vs seeker is you aren’t locked behind having to battle 5 trainers straight or being forced to lose. Plus you can heal your Pokémon anytime in sunnyshore city from this area
@@ThedomiNATION yeah. I guess it’s just a matter of convenience. I find it easier for myself personally. Giratina can start sweeping at level 87(and even easier at 90) with the right move set. I got it to level 100 within a couple hours.
The vs seeker works exactly the same in diamond as it does in platinum. I’m not 100% sure if the trainers are the same between the games but either way it should still be a great way to grind exp!
Why is the enemies' Luxray level 61? In my game he's 54. I completed the game, did the Stark Mountain quest and rematched the league multiple times. How do I get him to have a level 61 Luxray?
Lucky egg gives you 1.5x the exp while the exp share splits the standard amount of exp between everyone who participated in the battle. Lucky is better almost always but if you’re switch battling to train a lower level Pokémon the exp share will give the same amount of exp to that lower level Pokémon as the lucky egg with the only trade off being the higher level Pokémon gets less exp than normal
It’s random chance when you switch routes I’m pretty sure but way less consistent. The best way to get exp in Oras is to do blissey bases but there’s already a bunch of videos on that and honestly I don’t know enough about them yet
I prefer fighting the little boy on route 213 with 3 Gastrodons (Level 51) it's the best place to train for HP EVs but it's not great for money. _______________________________ For EXP he gives you counting all 3 Gastrodons 5769 EXP with no Lucky Egg 8652 EXP with the Lucky Egg And for a traded pokemon 8652 EXP with no Lucky Egg 12978 EXP with the Lucky Egg _______________________________ And on top of that there's a little girl near him who also has a level 51 azumarill so you can grind off of them too

@@faedonmcmxcix2334 I just watched. Yeah the darkrai wasn’t traded. Just holding the lucky egg. If the luxray is the same level for you as it is for me it should give the same amount of exp. Just make sure you don’t have another Pokémon holding an exp share as that will split the exp up among the shared Pokémon.
I used an action replay to unlock the event for it. However you can use the void glitch in diamond/pearl or the mystery gift exploit in all three games to get it without a cheating device

Im using the daycare to grind exp in cycle road, but that method is also really good.
Daycare is brutal at higher levels. I commend you if you get a level 100 that way!

You can use the dns exploit to get the azure flute for arceus then you can change its color and type based on the plates you let it hold

i was wondering how you get darkrai considering its an event pokemon (i think.)
I used an action replay to unlock the event for it. However you can use the void glitch in diamond/pearl or the mystery gift exploit in all three games to get it without a cheating device

Beat the elite four, did the Heatran post game storyline, trainers didn't leveled up yet.

You might need to visit pal park at least once. Either that or they are already max level.

How did you get 3800 xp from rich boy I only get 1800
I used a traded Pokémon that was holding a lucky egg. I also fully completed the story by defeating heatran which gives trainers max level rematches
@@ThedomiNATION now the only thing left for me is the elite 4 and then I will get access to darkrai but what is there after there ? Does the journey end there ? That is why I'm not going to fight elite 4 cz once I do I will feel really bad that it ended

It does but the rich boy doesn’t get a luxray and it stays as a Luxio. So it isn’t quite as efficient

I think the best method is just the eilte 4 hey
It’s a good way but you don’t have to battle 5 trainers in a row or intentionally lose if you get enough levels
