Before seeing this video I used the water spot outside the resort area where sealeo and tentacruels spawn to evolve pokemon or the league. This video helped a lot because I didn't know the vs recorder let you rematch npcs
Here's one epic thing that I've done before for extra gym leader rematches in one day is to save the game on the previous day in the house after already battling them and then, the next day, the same leaders will be there when you load up inside the house, but you can immediately talk to them again and rebattle the same leaders from the prior day. Upon leaving and going back in, the NPCs change, which means some new people can appear there who you can also battle. Sometimes some of the others are still there, even in different areas of the room, you cannot battle them again that day.
If you are training a Dark or Ghost type Pokemon, level 45+, there is a trainer called Psychic Abigail on Route 214. She is the first trainer at the north spot. She has a Gengar, Misdreavus, and Alakazam. I'm not entirely sure what the XP is here but it's good if you want to train one Pokemon. Gengar has Destiny Bond though so you need something that out speeds it. I don't know all their moves either but Alakazam has Calm Mind and Trick for sure.
Personally im using the elite 4 strategy with switch training and a lucky egg. Level 100 Palkia with the minimal ev training and good moveset choices can 1 hit KO the entire league save for Cynthia's Milotic and thats just a 3 shot taking into account her full restore and it cant do much damage in return
I would say first time fighting the elite four you won't be strong enough for using that as a way to level up. I would battle the fisherman and rich boy on route 222:)
@@MankeyMite I’m trying to get Rhyhorn from level 1 to level 42 and get 4 more blue shards and then I’ll have a rhydon and a way to teach rhydon fire punch
might js quit tbh, im almost at the 8th gym and my lucario and gabite are super underleveled and all my others are about9-5 levels lower than volkners and im sick of grinding and all trainers give barely any exp
I am trying to do the route 222 method but I’m only getting 1k xp per fight? I have a lvl 60 torterra and trying to lvl up lvl 20 Pokémon. What am I doing wrong?
sounds like the trainers are not in their final stage yet. Maybe you haven't done the leauge or heatran story? try again after that! also it might just be that you need to battle them a copule times to get them stronger
@@youngflipzz3536 I see! Torterra might struggle there, yes. My sugggestion would be to either level up your Torterra even more, and win using potions, or train up a second pokemon that can handle Togekiss with ice, electric or rock moves, a Luxray should do the trick
I don't know what I did wrong, I've got the 8th badge and my Pokemon are at lvl 40-50, I don't know if it's good or it's supposed to be like that, but the thought of facing Pokemon between level 50-60 scares me a bit.
If you have a team of 6 Pokemon and they are all around 40-50 its normal I would say. Use items to your advantage, buy lots of revives and potions to make it through each trainer. I don't remember if X items are in Platinum but X attack and X Speed is really overpowered on a sweeper like Garchomp.
im at pokemon league but before doign elite 4 i want my pokemon to level 55 or 60 so i went to route 222 and rich boy trey still has a level 45 luxray do i need to defeat heatran first to get a lvl 54 or 61 luxray or something else?
If the trainer doesn't improve their team within a couple of extra battles, it means you must get to the next milestone in the story, in this case probably defeat the champion, or defeat heatran :) -and some trainers don't improve their pokemon at all.
I’m trying to get the earthquake tm with pickup I’ve been farming exp with trade inside stark mountain in double battles getting lots of experience with wild Pokémon got it up to 91 so it can get that Tm I’m planning on teaching my lucario earthquake cause bone rush is quite inaccurate
@@MankeyMite well thankfully I’m getting rare candies and pp ups plus I’ve gotten the leftovers before it’s the same rarity as the tm 26 but have 2 pickups might not be enough unless if I have a few more I don’t want to grind it out in battle frontier unless I need brick break
@@MankeyMite I actually got it I had 3 Pokémon with pickup at 91 got 2 of them I’m thinking of teaching lucario earthquake bone rush is not that good until future games got higher accuracy I got so many stones max elixirs full restores even got the leftovers yeah it’s definitely worth it than 80 bp in battle frontier I’d rather use it for brick break tms I’m thinking about getting it for floatzel and weavile great type coverage
@@SupermanMFL Ey congrats!! You are stacked now, haha. If I could come with a suggestion, I would advice taking Low kick over brick break on weavile, as most pokemon that are weak to fighting and also are strong against ice, like rock and steel, are heavy targets:) brick break is ok but low kick ranges from 20-120 base power, and they have to be pretty small for it to do little damage, and in that case you have lucario anyways:)
@@MankeyMite hmm not bad if I could relearn it with heart scales I might consider if I grind pp ups my lucario has higher attack it’s still neutral nature but it’s higher than special attack I might consider close combat over aura sphere but it’s still a good move with no misses like aerial ace also low kick might honestly be better cause weavile is glass cannon but I’m saying brick break cause it’s so high physical attack very fast which is why I’m keeping ice shard for priority against flygon garchomp or altaria they are very weak against ice and same type bonus for ice shard I might not need ice punch is very versatile also night slash is definitely the best dark move screw dark pulse it’s laughable I’m keeping metal claw cause I don’t want to waste any tms other than move tutor x scissor is irrelevant because dark has psychic type coverage already if there’s any other option for a tm on my weavile maybe iron tail but not worth it too risky
@MankeyMite route 215 the trainers are 24-25 lvl how to make them 44-45 3 gym badges still or do i need to complete the distortion world first just finding faster way to lvl up early
Not sure if there is a way for trainers to level up like this before beating the league. This early you should be fine by just playing through the game normally and fighting trainers along the way.
@@kuris105 If you beat the league and completed the Stark Mountain event they should upgrade their team the second time you battle them. Some trainers won't get stronger.

I usually grind with Riley in the iron islands, since it's 2 pokemon at once, and he heals you after every battle
