I wonder how common that is... maybe that's why the adults very rarely interfere with it? Only time I remember an adult interfering is Cheerilee when CMC "demonstrated Discord."

I didn't realise that this was your first ever reaction, I wasn't sure when you started them, so I never saw this one till now, when you said it was the first reaction you'd EVER done, I knew we were in for a treat (and you too for that matter). Really glad you enjoyed the episode, and just so you know, I was in the same boat as you and my reaction was pretty much the same, for what happened with DT and the CMC, keep reacting buddy, I love your reactions and I'm currently following your reactions through season 6 and I'm looking forward to seeing the end of the season with you and all my other favourite reactors.
Side note, Trouble Shoes' cutie mark problem was the opposite of Diamond, he understood WHERE he wanted to go, but not the ability and how he could make it reality, Diamond meanwhile just like you said understood the ability, but not which direction to take it in.
Though I think Diamond may have slightly misinterpreted her talent. Not so much 'getting other ponies to do what I want' as 'leadership.' Because of that, we've witnessed her fall deeper into what the fandom calls Cutie Mark Failure Insanity Syndrome. Getting more and more desperate to force her classmates to conform to her wishes. It puts her bullying of the Crusaders in a new light because those three consistently resisted her, which would aggravate the condition.
Watching this in 2023 feels so weird but it brings back memories of long ago. I miss this guys videos. They were always so funny to watch and I always enjoyed it. I don’t care how old I am. I will always enjoy watching these videos.
There are only two events that I've experienced that have gotten me so excited to the point if screaming with joy. The first is Malcolm Butler's interception in Super Bowl 49, and the second is the CMC getting their cutie marks. That is how highly I rank this episode compared to the rest.

I did catch that, but...dunno if I would call it flying, exactly. She's been able to hover for very short periods of time herself. I guess it was interesting to see her be able to briefly lift herself and also another pony, guess it just didn't have the same effect for me as seeing Sweetie Belle use her magic well.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised I caught that one actually, as it was fairly subtle. I haven't watched a ton of other reactions to it, but of the ones I did, nobody else caught that.
Don't apologize for the crying, that was easily the best part of the video, I could feel ours hearts resonating as one with the feels T-T This episode really made me cry too, of both happiness and sadness, Because I realized there and then that this series was truly going to end soon, and I don't want it to end. But I also know that if it keeps dragging forever ir will lose its magic and deform into something unsightly. But I'm too afraid that after this series is over Hasbro wouldn't be able to make a new MLP series as good as this one. I was exalted at seeing some development and backstory that added more depth to Diamond Tiara's character, and her song has become one of my best favorite of all in the series, right alongside old classics like Winter Wrap Up and the new hits of all the Dazzling's songs. And if I was happy before, when I saw the CMC getting her Cutie Marks, my entire Brony self was sublimated in a big orgasm of happiness and fulfillment for living to see this great accomplishment of theirs. But a tiny bit inside of me was also fearful that the story of the CMC was finished forever, even though like you said, their song clearly said otherwise. But I couldn't find it in myself to trust the writers to know what to do with the little fillies after their sole goal and wish was finally attained. So like you see, I had conflicted feelings after watching this episode. But I'm relieved now after watching some episodes of the 6th season and confirming that indeed, the story of the CMC has only finished one chapter to begin yet another one and that the magic that lured us to their adventures hasn't faded =)
Yeah, a lot of people don't seem to like On Your Marks, and I can kind of understand why, but to me it was a very important part of their story as they transition from a goal of getting their cutie marks to now fulfilling their destiny, which will always be a continuous journey. Their personal stories aren't done yet either though. They still haven't explored the meanings of the unique symbols on their shared crest, so I really hope that gets touched on in the next CMC episode.

Man, of all the episodes to start a reaction channel. I was a blubbering mess the first time I saw this episode. Right from the CMC's high-hoof to the end. Even after all this time, this episode still makes me cry. I lasted my longest, though. I only started tearing up once DT slid down the slide. XD
I'm way late to the party as it were, watching this blind react, and you chose a helluva episode to start on. But let me say... what a way to start. Your reaction is genuine, heartfelt, and pretty much how I reacted... and its good to see so many reactors realize how amazing this episode is. Even watching it for easily several dozen times by now.
That's awesome, for me it's big surprises that are the most entertaining part of watching reactions. I definitely cried the first 4 or 5 times I watched this! Also that was a good catch on the mending fences, I missed that symbolism. I'll be interested to see where you go with your reactions, if you decide to keep doing them.
Diamond Tiara is so amazing in this episode, and the episode really made me love her as a character. It basically made me see her as pony Pacifica, who I also love. I just wish the writers didn't forget she exists after this episode. She never speaks again, for over 4 seasons of the entire show - that's half of the show's entire run, where Diamond Tiara is no longer a character. I would have loved if the Cutie Mark Crusaders actually stayed friends with her, and they hung out sometimes. I would have liked to see her in their clubhouse again, maybe even helping them as an honorary CMC. She could have helped organise their cutie mark camp. Even just seeing her being nice to other ponies at school would be good, but we got nothing and it's really sad. Just because we didn't need her as a bully anymore, doesn't mean she had to stop existing.

I love this episode so much. Five fucking years of rooting for them and cheering them on. _FIVE LONG YEARS_. And it happens. And dammit if the writers don't give in and grant us the emotional rollercoaster that we've been waiting for. They did it. They got their marks. I know they're fictional characters, but I'm still so proud of them. If a cartoon can do that to me then it's done the job fucking well. 21:50 Whoa! You are the first one to mention that. SInce I am not from English speaking country, I would have never ever noticed that, since the saying does not exist in my language. And I have watched at least 20 different people reacting to this episode already.
Yeah, I was kinda surprised I caught that one actually, as it was fairly subtle. I haven't watched a ton of other reactions to it, but of the ones I did, nobody else caught that.
Don't apologize for the crying, that was easily the best part of the video, I could feel ours hearts resonating as one with the feels T-T
This episode really made me cry too, of both happiness and sadness, Because I realized there and then that this series was truly going to end soon, and I don't want it to end. But I also know that if it keeps dragging forever ir will lose its magic and deform into something unsightly. But I'm too afraid that after this series is over Hasbro wouldn't be able to make a new MLP series as good as this one.
I was exalted at seeing some development and backstory that added more depth to Diamond Tiara's character, and her song has become one of my best favorite of all in the series, right alongside old classics like Winter Wrap Up and the new hits of all the Dazzling's songs.
And if I was happy before, when I saw the CMC getting her Cutie Marks, my entire Brony self was sublimated in a big orgasm of happiness and fulfillment for living to see this great accomplishment of theirs. But a tiny bit inside of me was also fearful that the story of the CMC was finished forever, even though like you said, their song clearly said otherwise. But I couldn't find it in myself to trust the writers to know what to do with the little fillies after their sole goal and wish was finally attained. So like you see, I had conflicted feelings after watching this episode.
But I'm relieved now after watching some episodes of the 6th season and confirming that indeed, the story of the CMC has only finished one chapter to begin yet another one and that the magic that lured us to their adventures hasn't faded =)
Yeah, a lot of people don't seem to like On Your Marks, and I can kind of understand why, but to me it was a very important part of their story as they transition from a goal of getting their cutie marks to now fulfilling their destiny, which will always be a continuous journey. Their personal stories aren't done yet either though. They still haven't explored the meanings of the unique symbols on their shared crest, so I really hope that gets touched on in the next CMC episode.

Man, of all the episodes to start a reaction channel. I was a blubbering mess the first time I saw this episode. Right from the CMC's high-hoof to the end. Even after all this time, this episode still makes me cry. I lasted my longest, though. I only started tearing up once DT slid down the slide. XD

That's awesome, for me it's big surprises that are the most entertaining part of watching reactions. I definitely cried the first 4 or 5 times I watched this! Also that was a good catch on the mending fences, I missed that symbolism. I'll be interested to see where you go with your reactions, if you decide to keep doing them.

Diamond Tiara is so amazing in this episode, and the episode really made me love her as a character. It basically made me see her as pony Pacifica, who I also love. I just wish the writers didn't forget she exists after this episode. She never speaks again, for over 4 seasons of the entire show - that's half of the show's entire run, where Diamond Tiara is no longer a character. I would have loved if the Cutie Mark Crusaders actually stayed friends with her, and they hung out sometimes. I would have liked to see her in their clubhouse again, maybe even helping them as an honorary CMC. She could have helped organise their cutie mark camp. Even just seeing her being nice to other ponies at school would be good, but we got nothing and it's really sad. Just because we didn't need her as a bully anymore, doesn't mean she had to stop existing.
Pacifica didn't exist until the finale either which also sucked.

They did it. They got their marks. I know they're fictional characters, but I'm still so proud of them. If a cartoon can do that to me then it's done the job fucking well. This is everything I ever wanted out of the show, pretty much without knowing that this is what I wanted out of it.
